Children and Advertisements

This thesis deals with the way of use of children and children elements in commercials, promoting products for children, services that children can use and the products used to care for them. For this purpose, the advertising material was systematically collected. Subsequently, it was analyzed with focus on selected thematic areas: use of cartoon (animated) characters, animals and toys in advertising, use of child in advertising, specifics of the language of advertising and the strategies of communications in advertising. The theoretical part of this thesis first briefly deals with advertising in general terms. However, with regard to the aim of the thesis, it is focused on children's recipients of mediated communication as a specific target group. In the second part of the thesis, the analysis of the collected advertising material is processed. Specific characters and specific roles of the participants, communication methods and strategies of advertising creators are identified in detail. All statements referred in this thesis are verified on the particular examples of advertising. Key words: children, advertising, media education
Salivary proteins of sand flies and the immune aspects of Leishmania transmission

Sand flies serve as the vectors of leishmaniasis and their saliva was shown to affect the outcome of Leishmania infection by immunomodulation of the host. On the other hand, sand fly saliva contains a large scale of farmacologically active proteins that are strongly immunogenous for bitten hosts and specific anti-saliva immunity initiated by repeated sand fly feeding provides protection against Leishmania infection. Specific cell-mediated immunity was shown to be the core of the protectivity; however, our data suggests that the protective immunity has certain limitations. In mice bitten by sand flies for prolonged periods, we observed the desenzitization in term of abrogation of the protective immunity. Thus, we can speculate that the protective effect of immunity is linked solely with the short-term exposure. Nevertheless, our experiments showed that this aspect is also conditioned by the immediate infection after the protective short-term immunization. Taken together, it seems that these limitations may explain the circulation of leishmaniasis in endemic areas, even though humans and animals are frequently immunized by bites of uninfected sand flies. Heterologous expression and purification of rat cytochrome P450 1A1

Cytochrome P450 1A1 belongs to "superfamily" of cytochromes P450 (CYPs). It is an extrahepatic enzyme that takes a part in detoxification metabolism of many xenobiotics but unfortunately also it is one of the most important representatives of CYPs involved in the activation of procarcinogens. The main aim of this bachelor thesis was to prepare and purify cytochrome P450 1A1 in sufficient quantity and purity by heterologous expression. Two different vectors, which were constructed by inserting the gene for rat cytochrome P450 1A1 in efficient expression plasmid pCW, were prepared during this bachelor thesis. Functionality of prepared vectors was verified by measuring the expression of CYP1A1 and CO difference spectra. It was found that only one of the vectors mentioned above provides native protein. This vector was transformed into E. coli cells of strain DH5α, DH5α with the inserted plasmid pHg1 and DH5α with inserted plasmid pGRO7. Various conditions of CYP1A1 production were tested: growth media (LB or TB medium), the time of production (24 and 48h), the concentration of IPTG (0.5mM and 1mM) and the presence of ALA. The French UMP and its Internal Structure

The creation of the UMP, as the "Union pour la Majorité Présidentielle", after the first round of the presidential election in 2002, began a new cycle for the French Right. It can be characterized as the refoundation of a party by merger. The merger proceeded from a long- established system of cooperation among parties at the legislative level. The main constitutive components of the new party were namely the conservative RPR (Rassemblement pour la République), the centre-right UDF (Union pour la Démocratie Française) and a former part of the UDF - DL (Démocratie Libérale) - which became independent in 1998. The principal motivation for the modification of the form of cooperation was the restoration of Jacques Chirac's authority over both his political camp and and the institution of the presidency. The UMP won both - legislative and presidential elections and started to govern. The internal structure of the new party can be understood in different ways and be distiguished into different levels. Firstly, from the point of view directed to its main components - political parties that made up the UMP's base and also other parties and groups that cooperate with the new party. Marketing strategy of the company Xella CZ on the Czech market

The main goal of this thesis is to develop a marketing strategy of Xella CZ s.r.o, a leading producer of white aerated concrete blocks on the Czech market, for YTONG -established brand and a new brand Hebel. The theoretical part deals with the concept of strategic marketing planning, describes its phases and stages. It explains the terms segmentation , targeting, positioning and multi-brand strategy. The end of the theoretical part focuses on the specifics of marketing in the construction industry. In the practical part the reader gets to know the company Xella CZ and the products it offers. There is also analyzed the current situation of the Czech construction industry including outline of possible future developments, there are defined target groups of the company, depicted its competitors, set the company's targets. There is also carried out SWOT analysis. On the basis of collected data a marketing strategy is created including marketing mix for both brands.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the loyalty program of the company Roto stavební elementy s.r.o. The work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with the marketing and commercial communications, describes the various forms of commercial communications. The second chapter focuses in detail on sales promotion as a form of commercial communication. Most attention is devoted to loyalty programs. The third chapter introduces the company Roto, its product portfolio and loyalty program. The chapter also includes evaluation of the effectiveness of the program based on four key indicators and a few suggestions for improvements. The conclusion summarizes the results of the analysis.

Pro srovnání je uveden vývoj přímých zahraničních investic na Slovenksu, v Polsku a Maďarsku.
