Managing and Evidence School Environment

The present bachelor thesis focuses on the sphere of utilization of school information systems for registration and record keeping, education and management activities of the school. It has been prepared on the basis of an analysis of legal regulations and a research of software environments used for support of the registration and record keeping, education and management activities performed by schools. The research part of the thesis analyses school information systems used by elementary and high schools in the Czech Republic. The thesis contains a complex overview of legal regulations applicable to registration and record keeping activities of schools and describes functions of the individual school information systems. It also compares possibilities for using such systems for registration and record keeping, education and management activities of the school. In the final part of the thesis, having performed a criteria analysis, I have suggested possibilities for suitable solutions depending on the type of the school, its size and the degree of education offered, with respect to efficient use of information and communication technology for school management, administration and operation. Web computer game as an educational tool

This diploma thesis focuses on a didactic game and its usage within an educational process. The subject of the thesis is, on the basis of the study of the expert literature and expertly focused primary resources from various fields, to create and test a functional web computer game with didactic content. The theoretical part focuses on the very phenomenon of a game; from a historical and philosophical point of view as well as from the current interpretation of electronic games and a game in the context of didactic methods. In the empirical investigation, the thesis contains the whole development of the game, possibilities of its modification depending on users and the implementation of the didactic game in teaching. In the conclusion, the results of the research are given and recommendations for the research area of the development of other educational tools using Web applications as games are made.
Creation of demonstration and practice examples for working with AutoCAD in 2D

The topic of this bachelor thesis is an active support of technical teaching for working in 2D AutoCAD through training and tutorial examples. In the teoretical part there is an analysis of the available literature, which is chosen deliberately for familiarization and advanced formation with AutoCAD, a description of the general requirements for pupils, a description of worksheets and video tutorials. The practical part is a set of training and expository examples with documented procedures and examples divided by difficulty. For each example is formed narrated video tutorial for verification, or learning the correct formation of the program. The aim of this thesis is to verify the suitability of examples (video tutorial), to get feedback from the students and to suggest possible modifications.
Factors affecting the use of digital technologies by preschool children

This bachelor thesis deals with the use of digital technologies in preschool education. This study concerns the possibilities of connecting digital technologies with education and games. This work also discusses factors that influence children's use of digital technologies. Data gathered by questionnaires identify how teachers use digital technologies in the classroom and how the children from the same classroom use digital technologies in the home environment. Programming in elementary school and development of students' algorithmic thinking

This thesis deals with development of algorithmic thinking and teaching programming in elementary school. It focuses on available ways and tools suitable for classes. The practical part of the thesis is focused on children's programming language Scratch, which is one of the tools designed to be used for teaching. The main goal is to create comprehensive collections of tasks that develop algorithmic thinking of pupils aged 9 - 10 years. The tasks get more complex gradually so that the pupils don't need any previous programming experience. Also they are designed so that they can be solved without the assistance of a teacher. All the tasks were checked against a set of pupils in the given age range. The collection of tasks is also made available as a web presentation for the ease of further use.
Interactive Fiction with Use of Multimedia

This bachelor thesis focuses on a type of computer games called interactive fiction and the multimedia that can be incorporated into them. The first part of the thesis focuses on the definition of interactive fictions and their different characteristics. These properties include story, interactivity, and multimedia. Next, interactive fiction is characterized in terms of its control and story structure. This type of computer game is also described with its possible use in education, either by teacher, or a student. The last part of this theses focuses on various developer tools which can be used to create this type of computer game.
