Corporate Social Responsibility in construction sector
Berdibekov, Alisher ; Vaňková, Lucie (referee) ; Hanák, Tomáš (advisor)
CSR, podnikání, životní prostředí, společenská odpovědnost firem ve stavebnictví, zainteresované strany ABSTRACT The diploma project entitled "Corporate Social Responsibility in the construction industry" aims to provide an overview of the companies in the construction industry based in the Czech Republic. The work is divided into two parts. The first part carries the definition of the term CSR, the history of the term, the meaning, development, driving forces of its application, views and influence on various areas of business. The second part is devoted to the analysis of the trend of CSR development in the Czech Republic. An effort was made to learn about the problems that stand in the way of the development / implementation of CSR and the results in case of its use.
Housing concept in the European context
Neumann, Michal ; Vaňková, Lucie (referee) ; Krejza, Zdeněk (advisor)
The topic of the diploma thesis is a comparison of the housing policy of the Czech Republic with respect to other European countries. Due to the different economic, historical and political situations of the individual states and their geographical location, attention is focused on the neighboring states of the Czech Republic. The selected group of assessed states provides sufficiently diverse situations and approaches to housing policy, so that the effectiveness of individual measures that could be applied to the environment of the Czech Republic could be evaluated. In the theoretical part, the basic directions of housing policy and related principles characteristic of the housing market are presented, as well as an assessment of national and transnational circumstances contributing to the final form of housing policy. In the practical part, the situation of the housing policy and its instruments in a longer time horizon and the reaction to their reactions to unexpected transnational circumstances are evaluated. The result of the practical part is a statistically based evaluation of individual housing policies and their individual parts. The conclusion of the diploma thesis contains the author's commentary and suggestions for optimizing the elements of housing policy and defining the basic risks of housing policy in the Czech Republic.
Subcontracting management on a construction contract
Bellayová, Magdaléna ; Vaňková, Lucie (referee) ; Kocourková, Gabriela (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the subcontracting management on a construction contract. The purpose is to define costs for permanent employees and for external employees in specific construction company, known as a subcontractor. There are some concepts which are defined, such as construction contract and market, prices in construction, project management. The following part evaluates the way how the subcontractors are selected for the construction contract and its management. There is a research of preparedness this construction contract. In the end there is an evaluation of selection process with the subcontractors in the specific construction contract, subconstructors management and construction contract management.

Foreign direct investment in the Czech Republic
Vrtal, Vojtěch ; Novák, Jaroslav (referee) ; Vaňková, Lucie (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is a definition of regional development and foreign direct investments. The practical part deals with an analysis of foreign investments in individual regions of the Czech Republic and monitors years 2010-2020. It also examines the impact on regions and the development of living standards. As an example of foreign direct investment in the Czech Republic is used a company BOSCH DIESEL, s.r.o.. Thesis focuses on one specific investment and examines its impact on the development of the Vysočina Region, more precisely of Jihlava District.
Use of EU resources to finance the investment project in the municipality
Rousová, Eliška ; Hromádka, Vít (referee) ; Vaňková, Lucie (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the financing of a financial plan of village Domašov u Brna. In the theoretical part are described subjects as investment and evaluation of economic efficiency. Further/Furthermore, there is described theory of village and financial management of the municipality´s budget. The practical part of this thesis deals with "Construction of sidewalk on Větrov Street and pedestrian crossing across a road II/602 in a Domašov" and there are suggested possible alternatives of its financing.
The influence of green roofs on the price of the building
Honusová, Kateřina ; Vaňková, Lucie (referee) ; Krejza, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the effect of green roofs and their impact on the final cost of a family house. First part of the thesis decribes different types of roofs, with a special emphasis on green roofs (including their types, layers, properties). Second part involves multiple types of pricing (house, roofs) and calculations of volumes of buildings. Final part discusses the prices of green roofs and their share in the price of the whole building. Creation of budgets is one of the most precise pricing strategies in civil engineering. Proper estimation of the budget of green roofs therefore played a vital role in developing results section of this bachelor thesis. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the increase in price caused by this eco friendly contruction.
Possibilities of drawing financial support to reduce the energy intensity of buildings
Felgrová, Nikola ; Kocourková, Gabriela (referee) ; Vaňková, Lucie (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with options for obtaining financial assistance in order to minimize building energy intensity. The first part is focused on clarifying the concepts related to the issue. This covers things like investments, loans, subsidy resources, and subsidy programs, among other things. The second section of the paper examines how a particular family house in the village of hudlice went about decreasing its energy intensity. Variations of funding for this construction project were presented based on available information on the availability of subsidy resources and the provision of custom loans
Novel binding proteins derived from small protein domains targeting diagnostically important molecules
Vaňková, Lucie ; Malý, Petr (advisor) ; Brynda, Jiří (referee) ; Trefil, Pavel (referee)
The rapid development of the gene engineering techniques, especially methods for in vitro directed evolution and combinatorial mutagenesis, has triggered the generation of new binding agents to almost any antigen of interest as an alternative to broadly used antibodies. These so-called non-Ig scaffolds are often derived from proteins with useful biophysical properties. While the therapeutic market is still dominated by monoclonal antibodies, the easy option of desired customization of non-Ig binders by conventional methods of gene engineering predestine them largely for the use in the diagnostic area. The ABD scaffold, derived from a three-helix bundle of albumin-binding domain of streptococcal protein G, represents one of the small non-Ig scaffolds. In our laboratory, we have established a highly complex combinatorial library developed on the ABD scaffold. This ABD scaffold-derived library was used to generate unique binders of human prostate cancer (PCa) biomarkers PSP94, KLK2, KLK11 for the more precise diagnosis of PCa. The second part of the thesis describes the generation of ABD-derived binders selectively recognizing different phenotypes of circulating tumor cells as a binding component of the cell capture zone of microfluidic chip for lung adenocarcinoma diagnosis. Beside this already...
