Sklenář, Michal ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design and subsequent production of a large plastic stand on a 3D printer. The goal of the bachelor thesis is to divide the production process of the stand so that it can be realized it on a 3D printer workspace. Subsequently, there is an effort to save as much material as possible, but to ensure the full functionality of the stand as well. The topic of the thesis also shows defects and errors that are connected to the process of production and tries to outline their possible solutions. In conclusion, the financial side of production is evaluated, and the properties of the designed stand are compared with stands that are mass-produced. The whole set and design of the stand are conceived for the band "Zoo". The design of the stand is therefore set to produce only one piece.
Influence of the different light sources of the vehicle headlights on the perception of an obstacle by the driver of the vehicle
Sklenář, Michal ; Bradáč, Albert (referee) ; Motl, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis focuses on examining the influence of various light sources (halogen, xenon, LED) of vehicle headlights (Škoda Octavia III. generation) on the perception of pedestrians by the driver of the vehicle. The theoretical part contains the concepts essential for a general understanding of the main topic of this thesis. The aim of the thesis is to present how the brightness and contrast between the pedestrian and his surroundings changes when illuminated by one of these light sources due to the increasing distance between the pedestrian and the vehicle and the different type of pedestrian clothing. The results of the measured experiment are presented using charts, photo documentation and brightness maps. These are then compared with the results obtained by measuring the distance of pedestrian perception by individual probands. The conclusions applicable to forensic engineering practice are drawn from the compared values.
Tridentine reform of diocesan clergy and its selected exterior expressions. The Cleric clothing as a reflection of demands on diocesan clergy after the Council of Trent.
Sklenář, Michal ; Kotas, Jan (advisor) ; Kuźniar, Mariusz (referee)
Thesis presents diocesan clergy reformed by the Council of Trent in a way of historical- liturgical probe: requirements set on secular clergy and external expression of these demands with the clerical dress - cassock. The work knowingly preserves historical and theological planes: firstly it brings basic points for institution of the sacrament of priesthood (Levitical priesthood of the Old Testament, priesthood of the New Covenant and its further rethinking), then it comes with contextual establishment of the Council of Trent (convening, process, discussed themes, follow-up reception of the Council decrees) and its results mainly in a relation to the clergy (theological grasp of the clergy). The thesis subsequently outlines position of the clergymen as a state, upon which society and country put certain clearly defined requirements. The treatise itself then shows individual demands lain on clergymen from the Church reformed by Tridentinum (formation in seminary, self conception of the clergy). All these specific demands are reflected in a stringently designed form of the clerical clothing meant for everyday wear. In this context the work brings inspiration both for creation of the professional clerical clothing and its influence on appearence of the religious habits and finally comparison with...

The Order of Malta and its activity in the Czech lands during the years 1874-1938
Pola, Martin ; Jakubec, Ivan (advisor) ; Županič, Jan (referee) ; Sklenář, Michal (referee)
(in English): The Knights of St. John, also known as the "Johanniter", the Knights Hospitaller or the Knights of Malta, are undoubtedly the most important chivalric order of Christendom, which played an important role in the history of Europe. The Order came to the Czech lands in the 12th century and has been continuously active here ever since, although its activities in Czechoslovakia were almost completely suppressed between 1948 and 1990 and the Grand Priory survived only thanks to its members in exile. The present dissertation describes the activities of this Order in the Czech lands between 1874 and 1938. It focuses on the organizational and social aspects of the Order's activity as well as on its economic side. Nor does the priestly branch of the Order stand aside from the interest of this dissertation. The defined period was a time of revolutionary changes - until 1918 the Order could enjoy the support of the Austro-Hungarian elites, including the Emperor, however after the collapse of the monarchy it had to find its place in the new civil society and even fight for its existence. The Order did not see the successful culmination of these efforts in the Czech lands until the late 1930s, but in the light of the coming historical events, these achievements had only a very short life.

The collection of studies on the history of post-war monument care is based on the international conference Monuments and monument care in Czechoslovakia and other Central European countries during the second half of the 20th century, which took place in the spring of 2021. Selected contributions by authors from the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Croatia or Hungary map the institutional development of monument care in the countries of the former Habsburg Monarchy, a significant part of which was located on the eastern side of the Iron Curtain. The book thus offers not only a valuable comparison of the various systems of monument care within Central Europe, but also unusual material on the history of post-war European totalitarianism.

Parish history in Ústí nad Orlicí and the Roman Catholic Church in Czechoslovakia in years 1948-1961
Sklenář, Michal ; Pullmann, Michal (advisor) ; Blažek, Petr (referee)
The thesis follows the history of the Roman Catholic Church in Czechoslovakia between 1948-1961. The first part includes broader theoretical context and the second part contains historical context of the issues which are discussed in the third part. On the example of Václav Boštík, the dean in Ústí nad Orlicí between the years 1934-1942 and 1945-1961, and using the micro-historical method, the thesis demonstrates the running of a parish in a district town during the first thirteen years of the communist totalitarian rule. The options and actions of dean Václav Boštík - an ecclesiastic administrator and statutory representative - in various situations and his decisions, which had a direct and significant influence on the parish, are analyzed in the thesis. At the same time, the presented local situation is compared with the steps of the state towards the Church on the national level, which shows one of possible pictures of the ecclesiastical history in Czechoslovakia in the second half of the 20th century. Key words 20th century, the Roman Catholic Church, Czechoslowakia, communism, Ústí nad Orlicí, Václav Boštík (1897-1963)

Sklenář, Michal ; Pullmann, Michal (advisor) ; Šebek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Petráček, Tomáš (referee)
The dissertation shows one of the possible portraits of the history of the Roman Catholic Church in Czechoslovakia between the years 1927-1963. On the example of Václav Boštík (1897-1963), the dean in Ústí nad Orlicí between the years 1934-1942 and 1945-1961, the thesis focuses on continuities and discontinuities in the history of the local Roman Catholic parish. The presented analysis combines the socio-historical, microhistorical and biographical approach, by means of which it shows pastoral and other strategies of dean Václav Boštík - an ecclesiastical administrator and statutory representative - in various situations during the first two-thirds of the twentieth century. Local events are interconnected with the context of Czech ecclesiastical history at the statewide and diocesan level as well as with a broker context of Church history.
