Harmonization maternity and career current Czech women during parental leave

The bachelor thesis deals with the possibility of harmonization maternity and career during parental leave in the Czech Republic. This thesis analyzes the current system of support for families with children and draws attention to its shortcomings. The practical section gives an assessment of the questionnaire survey, which shows the timeliness issue. Consequently, the measures are designed according to the analysis of the survey the experiences of women with harmonization in practice. Among the proposals include improving the availability of preschool facilities, increasing part-time work, reducing the maximum length of parental leave and compensation roles of men and women in a social kontext.
Family policy and its impact on demographic development before 1989 and after

This essay is focused on the instruments of family policy and their impact on demographic development. I apply to twenty years before 1989 and twenty years after in the area of Czech republic. In the theoretical part, there is introduction to family, family policy and there is assembled source of knowledge. Practical part include the analysis of instrumenst of family policy in particular periods and their influence on development of population. In the study there are empirical researches which test the results of analysis in practice. The survey contains three categories of respondents: parents before year 1989, parents after this date and people without children in present, so future parents. On the base of results of this paper are suggested measures which can be transfer from the past to the present and this action would be reasonable.
Analysis of financing of the actual education system in the Czech Republic and Austria

The bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of education systems in the Czech Republic and Austria. The first part briefly describes the structure of the educational system in the Czech Republic and Austria and describe characteristics of both school systems and institutional facilities from pre-primary to tertiary education. Another practical part deals with the comparison systems of the two countries on various educational levels. Subsequently, the thesis analyzes the financing of educational systems in both countries, with a focus on tertiary education. The last section contains an evaluation of the results of the comparative analysis briefly describing some advantages and disadvantages of the systems, their trends and traits and outlines recommendations on the application of certain positive elements of the Austrian system and its financing in the Czech educational system.
Analysis of the current situation of social housing in the Czech Republic

This thesis concentrates on description of current situation of social housing in the Czech Republic. This subject is actual mainly for constant delay of the bill on social housing and missing state concept. This thesis analyses the possibilities of providing social housing. There are mentioned subsidy programs, soft loans and social benefits. At the same time, there are given data on the state of housing policy in the Czech Republic and opinions of experts in the field of housing. The final part of the thesis proposes concise solution to the situation.
Analysis of the results of the current pension reform by the end of 2013 and the comparison of their possible alternative solutions

My bachelor thesis analyzes the existing results of the current pension reform after the first year since its inception, i.e. its state as of the end of the year 2013. My work focuses on the current results, which the pension reform has achieved since its creation, it evaluates the numbers of participants, their composition, and last but not least, their influence on the feasibility of the entire II. Pillar. Considering the negative results of the achievements of the reform in comparison to its expected goals, my work also delivers suggestions for steps toward improvement, which can be applied as rectification of the current state of the reform. As such, the thesis outlines and compares steps which must be taken immediately after the demise of the II pillar of pension reform, and further compares proposals of solutions which can be taken into account as alternatives for the reform of the pension system, whereby foreign solutions are also considered. The consequence of this thesis can be a recommendation as to how to deal with the current condition of the pension reform, so that negative impacts of its failure can be eliminated as soon as possible. The conclusion of the thesis attempts to also provide a positive view of pension reform.
Options for the future direction of the Czech pension system in the light of the Slovak pension reform

This bachelor thesis analyses the impact of reforms in the czech pension system. It deals with the development and current status of pillars of pension insurance in Czech and Slovak republic which has been changing significantly throughout the past few years. The focus is mainly on the second pillar of pension insurance which was expected to restore the long term sustainability that has been diminished by demographic changes. Unlike in Slovakia the pillar has not been very popular among Czech citizens. The main goal is to present a solution that will guarantee long term sustainability of the first pillar and will also motivate citizens to enter the second pillar. Solution is to do another parametric adjustment of runnig system. The second pillar is need to be set as mandatory with possibilities of exiting after a certain time, also need to be involved by imployers, extended by another types of payments and better informed from government. To achieve the desired goal methods of comparative analysis of Czech and Slovakian pension system is used.
Comparison of pension system in the Czech Republic and the USA in 2015

This bachelor thesis presents the analysis of pension schemes in the Czech Republic and the United States of America according to the situation in 2015. In theoretical part the structure of pension schemes on basis of a way of financing, provider and voluntary participation is introduced. The next theme of theoretical part is a historical development of pension scheme of author's selected states. The practical part deals with current situation of selected pension schemes, their funding and their sustainability in financial terms and demographic development. The goal of this thesis is a comparison of these pension schemes and an identification of areas which could be improved. This bachelor thesis points at a conclusion that pension schemes of author's selected states are very similar, although numbers attested in favor of American pension system.
Analysis of unemployment in the Hradec Králové region between 2005–2013

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of unemployment in Hradec Kralove region during years 2005 - 2013. It focuses on the development of the level of registered unemployment and discusses the supply and demand side of the regional labor market. The supply side is characterized by gender, age, education and duration of unemployment of job applicants. The analysis of the demand side is focused on the development of unemployment in various sectors and industries of the national economy. Then the thesis assesses some of the tools of active labor market policy, especially regional individual projects. Registered unemployment rate in the Hradec Kralove region oscillates in a relatively favorable terms, however, as a result of the economic crisis has worsened the situation. Based on the analysis, it was found that the most prone county to high rates of unemployment is Trutnov and the most prone group of citizens to unemployment are the long-term unemployed people. I also came to conclusion that selected active labour market policy has a positive influence on the labour market in that region. The final recommendations of this thesis is to focus on the Trutnov county and the most prone groups of citizens to unemployment in a more proper way.
Current position of people over 50 years of age on the labour market and their support in the Czech republic and selected European countries

This Bachelor thesis deals with the position of people over 50 years of age on the labour market in the Czech republic and selected European countries. Due to ageing of population the number of people finding troubles in job hunting is increasing. The theoretical part of the thesis shows the functioning of the labour market and enlightens the term unemployment. The next part is focused on the very people over 50, their position on the labour market and age discrimination. Aside from introducing specific employment supporting tools comprises questionnaire whose respondents were employed people over 50 years of age and its results shows how these people perceive their own position on the labour market. In the conclusion there is a summary of newly learned facts and posibble solution propositions for dealing with this issue.
Have graduates of universities met the requirements of the labor market in Czech Republic in 2014?

Thesis deals with question if graduates of universities in the Czech Republic, in 2014 have met the requirements of the labor market. The theoretical part is focused, mainly to the labor market, briefly it is dealed with education and the classification of economic activities by NACE. The practical part is concerned with comparing the number of graduates and the production in percentage which can help us to ensure if is education oriented in the right direction. Benefit of my bachelor work could be not only for high school students who are taken their own decisions in which university is the best to submit an application, but also for the universities. Graduates of the universities are largely focused on the wrong courses and they are studying the ones that produce less value.
