Visions for Krnov
Heginger, Václav ; Pospíšilová, Barbora (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this work is an urban and architectural solution of a forgotten plot - brownfield - in the center of Krnov. A set of residential buildings with civic amenities is designed in the place. The location of the buildings and their form respects the surroundings and is integrated into the structure of the city. From the suburb to the center The population in Krnov is declining. But what if the trend reverses? Is the city ready for such a situation? In the very center of the city there are countless free gaps and brownfields. The proposal seeks to present a suitable alternative to living on the suburbs in a family house. The newcomers can thus move to the center. Everything is closer, the city is more compact, livelier ... In the center and yet surrounded by greenery The place is perched on the former city fortification system. They eventually gave way to new construction and especially greenery. The park now surrounds most of the city center. The proposed structure responds to the green circuit. The volume of the buildings recede outside the plot, so the planting is poured into the block. It directly affects houses, terraces, residents ...
Cost Benefit Analysis of Public Construction Project
Sedlák, Břetislav ; Pospíšilová, Barbora (referee) ; Korytárová, Jana (advisor)
The bachelor thesis „Costs-benefits analysis of public construction project“ deals with determining the economic efficiency of public construction project using CBA. Thesis consists of three parts. In the first part describes how the CBA method, the second part describes the theoretical methods for determining the economic efficiency and financial feasibility. In the third part is the practical solution to economic efficiency of a particular construction project „Reduce energy consumption of public building“ which was co-financed from EU structural funds.
Modeling and simulation of investment project risk
Pospíšilová, Barbora ; Heralová,, Renáta Schneiderová - (referee) ; Hromádka, Vít (referee) ; Tomanová, Štěpánka (referee) ; Korytárová, Jana (advisor)
This doctoral thesis deals with modelling and simulation of investment projects and linking risk management with new trends in construction industry. Process of balancing of acceptable risk level and investment costs is really complex and is influenced by several uncertainties. Simulation methods are able to model future scenarios of project development and quantify impact of risk factors. The aim of the doctoral thesis is to find an optimal methodology for risk analysis during decision-making process using simulation methods. The methodology links modeling by simulation method Monte Carlo with CBA, with risk analysis respectively. The aim is to reach more effective process of planning of investment projects. An accurate project plan in preinvestment phase will influence effectiveness of life cycle costs significantly. This is proved also by BIM methodology which works on base of transfer and storage of actual and complete information about investment plan within its whole lifecycle. Expected output of the thesis is effective application of simulation methods in risk prediction for modeling of outputs of investment project. Data from model are useful for decision making process, risk management, controlling and postaudit of investments. Projects can be evaluated by their complex benefits and quality with respect to sustainability.
Self Home
Lučanová, Rebeka ; Pospíšilová, Barbora (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
The house is the reflection of the social needs and relationships of the people who live in it. In the past, houses were simpler in their utilitarianism and unambiguity - they were created on the basis of the balance of needs of their inhabitants. The central place of the traditional Slovak peasant family was the oven and hearth, which were also the center of dining, joint work, and consumption. The folk architecture was characterized by the reason of the people of its time, who did not overestimate their possibilities or the possibilities of the country they inhabited. Their houses were suitable for climatic conditions and usually used the materials they had at hand. What is the ideal and at the same time affordable form of living space for my family today? What do I expect from our future home? With the help of collected data about various historical periods from the countryside and the city, by evaluating the functional spaces of dwellings, changing them, and adapting to them over time, I will try to create my own image of home. The aim of the theoretical part of the work is to focus on the relational and material side of the home and then in the design part to find the balance of these two levels in a particular design.
Energy metabolism and apoptotsis markers in cold heart aclimated rat.
Pospíšilová, Barbora ; Horníková, Daniela (advisor) ; Knytl, Martin (referee)
Cold adaptation and her effects has been known for many decates. Positive or negative impact depends especially on its length and strength. The lower temperature can very often cause the stress for organism. On the other hand in expreriment with long-term adapatation were found positive consequences on cardiovascular system. We found the lack of studies devoted to the energy metabolism and apoptosis in heart tissue during long-term cold adaptation. In this work we used a model with milder conditions of the adaptation (10žC±1), so there wouldn't be damage of the experimental animals. We compared the resuls betwen control, cold and regressive group of rats. In this expreriment we used methods of electrophoresis and Western blot. The target of the work was found if we can find any differences betwen chosen HIF targeted genes. The next goal was to detect the differences betwen chosen pro-apoptotic and anti-apoptotic markers. Keywords: cold adaptation, heart, energetic metabolism, HIF, apoptosis
Delictual liability of natural persons within environmental protection
Pospíšilová, Barbora ; Damohorský, Milan (advisor) ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (referee)
9. SUMMARY Delictual liability of natural persons in protection of the environment The purpose of my thesis is to analyse actual legal regulations of delictual liability of natural persons in protection of the environment. Delictual liability in protection of the environment includes a criminal liability and an administrative liability. The liability is one of legal instruments which the state uses for the protection of the environment and means that person who committed a breach of an obligation is obliged to endure appropriate consequences. The reason for my research is the fact that people quite frequently breach their duties, thus consequently endanger or harm the environment. I wanted to know more about the legal regulation concerning this theme. The thesis is composed of seven chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of delictual liability of natural persons in protection of the environment. Chapter One is introductory and defines basic terminology used in the thesis. Chapter Two addresses the issue of legal liability in general. Chapter Tree investigates delictual liability in general and delictual liability of natural persons in protection of the environment. Chapter Four is about criminal liability in protection of the environment. The chapter is subdivided into six parts. Part one...
The image of drug crime in the series Zrádci
Pospíšilová, Barbora ; Kruml, Milan (advisor) ; Bednařík, Petr (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the series Zrádci, which was presented by Czech Television by the turn of February and March 2020 and has not yet been processed in-depth in the academic environment. The general aim of the paper is to create a comprehensive picture of the series Zrádci, which is based on the responses from the Czech media, social networks, and further from creators, critics, or even the actors themselves. The main objective of the author is to undertake a qualitative analysis of the series. The partial aim is to find an answer to whether the series "Zrádci" is fundamentally different from other criminal serials, and to what degree this serial is more realistic than other audiovisual works with a similar theme.
