Dom je zhmotnením a odrazom sociálnych potrieb a vzťahov ľudí, ktorí v ňom žijú. V minulosti boli domy jednoduchšie vo svojej utilitárnosti a jednoznačnosti - vznikali na základe vyrovnanosti potrieb ich obyvateľov. Ústredným miestom tradičnej slovenskej roľníckej rodiny boli pec a ohnisko, ktoré boli tiež centrom stravovania, spoločnej práce a spotreby. Ľudové staviteľstvo bolo charakteristické rozumom ľudí svojej doby, ktorí nepreceňovali svoje možnosti ani možnosti krajiny, ktorú obývali. Ich domy vyhovovali klimatickým podmienkam a spravidla využívali materiály, ktoré mali po ruke. Aká je ideálna a zároveň cenovo dostupná forma životného priestoru pre moju rodinu v dnešnej dobe? Čo očakávam od nášho budúceho domova? Pomocou zozbieraných dát o rôznych historických obdobiach z prostredia vidieka aj mesta, zhodnotením funkčných priestorov obydlí, ich menenie a prispôsobovanie sa v čase sa budem snažiť vytvoriť svoj vlastný obraz domova. Cieľom teoretickej časti práce je zamerať sa na vzťahovú a materiálnu stránku domova a následne v návrhovej časti nachádzať vyváženosť týchto dvoch rovín v konkrétnom návrhu. The house is the reflection of the social needs and relationships of the people who live in it. In the past, houses were simpler in their utilitarianism and unambiguity - they were created on the basis of the balance of needs of their inhabitants. The central place of the traditional Slovak peasant family was the oven and hearth, which were also the center of dining, joint work, and consumption. The folk architecture was characterized by the reason of the people of its time, who did not overestimate their possibilities or the possibilities of the country they inhabited. Their houses were suitable for climatic conditions and usually used the materials they had at hand. What is the ideal and at the same time affordable form of living space for my family today? What do I expect from our future home? With the help of collected data about various historical periods from the countryside and the city, by evaluating the functional spaces of dwellings, changing them, and adapting to them over time, I will try to create my own image of home. The aim of the theoretical part of the work is to focus on the relational and material side of the home and then in the design part to find the balance of these two levels in a particular design.
