Supported employment and job placement of mentally affected persons

Theoretical part of my thesis deals with the problems connected with employment of persons with mild and moderate form of mental retardation, especially from the perspective of their psychical characters and specific education. The thesis describes the system of social services that are provided to mentally affected persons too. It contains legislative determinants of integration and determinants of labor market related to the employment of mentally affected persons. This thesis defines the term "supported employment" and describes its phases, it characterizes subsequent services and describes the situation in education of consultants, working in the field of supported employment, in the Czech Republic. The thesis presents one of the examples of good practice: The Agency of Supported Employment in Litoměřice. The aim of this master thesis is to analyze the influence of training the skills, which are necessary for work during the work experience of mentally affected persons, to their next employability on labor market. The knowledge gained during the investigation is obtained through the qualitative methodology, technics of documents analysis, mediated observation and interview. The Importance of Timely Diagnosis of Dyscalculia

The bachelor work is focused on diagnosing dyscalculia. Its aim is to highlight the consequences of the late diagnosis of dyscalculia for a child and its relatives. The work includes information about dyscalculia, its diagnosis and teaching methods. The work contains five cases of late diagnosing of dyscalculia, case studies, an evaluation of the consequences of the late diagnosis for the child and its relatives. There is also a comparison of the differences in the development of the child with early and late diagnosed dyscalculia and outlined remedies. The work includes the research about the awareness of dyscalculia and an information availability about it. There is a research of a frequency of the term dyslexia vs. dyscalculia in contemporary mass media too. The aim is to notice the lack of awareness of dyscalculia among teachers and non-teaching public, a summary outlining the implications and potential sources of improvement.
Emotional disorders at pupil's learning to play musical instrument

The thesis is concerned with emotional disorders of children lear- ning to play a musical instrument. It is focused primarily on anxiety and the related question of pupils' stage-fright and introversion. Substantial part of the thesis is devoted to the pedagogical approach to anxious pupils. Finally, exempla of such pupils are given.
The Problems of a Family of a Child With Disabilities

Bachelor's thesis on the topic: The problems of a family of a child with disabilities, is dealt with the problems that arise after the child's disability. These problems include the psyche of parents, changes in lifestyle family, break with extended family and friends, or the question of whether to have another child. Furthermore, this thesis deals with the encounter with other parents of children with disabilities and social services that make life easier for families of children with disabilities. In conclusion, this thesis describes the financial contributions for families of children with disabilities, use of assistive devices and options for persons with disabilities in the coming years.
Methods of pedagogical-psychological diagnosis of child abuse and the neglect syndrome in school environment

The main objective of this thesis is to provide pedagogical assistants and educators with an overview of diagnosis methods applicable in educational facilities. These methods might help them reveal cases of child abuse, neglect or maltreatment. The thesis is purely theoretical, designed to be subsequently put into practise. First, I have addressed the characteristics and manifestations of the CAN Syndrome. I have also described the current state of the problem and the newly discovered forms of child abuse, arisen due to inappropriate attitude of pedagogical workers and educational facilities towards their pupils. I have also dealt with the possibility of how to prevent the CAN Syndrome, describing high risk groups and situations. The final part deals with pedagogicalpsychological diagnosis and its methods, which is the central issue of my thesis. It addresses suitable techniques and methods applicable to detection of the CAN syndrome in educational facilities. Key words:

The thesis on "Influence of music in personal development and use of music therapy elements in educational practice" describes the music impact on human being and connection of musical and non musical realms of life of man and the world. This existing connectedness is a basis for searching for possibilities how to use the music in educational practice to support self understanding, personal and social development. The whole thesis consists of five theoretical and one empirical chapter. In the first chapter few key attributes of education that may support a young man in growing into authentic, integrated and social personality are described. One's own experience and reflective dialogue are considered the main means of this kind of educational process. Later some characteristics of art philetics and personal and social skills training are described for they bring inspiration for use of music and musical experience in educational practice. The second chapter sets forth the outlines and main characteristics of music therapy, music education and music philetics which can coincide with each other. The third chapter describes the music itself, its origin, qualities, meaning and certain effects that music brings into human life. The Educational preparation of Canistherapists and Educational Canistherapy obtions

The bachelor's work deals with the pedagogical preparation of canistherapists and with educational potentialities of canistherapy. Further, it is focused on the legislative embedding of canistherapy in the Czech Republic, describes the used canistherapeutic methods and presents in more detail using of canistherapy with the children with special educational needs, where a dog functions as a positive actor of therapy. Concerning the theme of Pedagogical preparation of canistherapists, the work analyses disunited preparation of therapists within the framework of dissimilarities of individual organizations in the Czech Republic and it points at the acceptable concept of preparation adopted from an international oragnization. Within the scope of educational potentialities of canistherapy, the work is particularly aimed at using the methods of Animal Assisted Education in canistherapeutic programmes implemented at schools. In its final part, the work introduces the organizations which specialize in canistherapy.

The influence of social climate in classroom on a self-concept of pupils with specific learning disabilities

The influence of social climate in classroom on a self-concept of pupils with specific learning disabilities. The aim of the thesis was to outline the problems of the self-concept of pupils with specific learning disabilities in the classroom social climate. The thesis has the form of an overview study followed by a research probe into the given problems. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the definition of the following main terms based on the literature studied: specific learning disabilities, self-concept, social climate in the classroom. Furthermore, symptoms of the specific learning disabilities and their impact on the self-concept of pupils within the social climate in the classroom are described. The practical part of the thesis deals with the research probe. The research sample is represented by seven classes of 7th and 8th grade pupils from two Central Bohemia schools and three Prague schools. The research probe has the form of a non-standard survey study. In conclusion, the necessity of further research in the area is emphasized.
