Draft automatic pressure pumping stations

The aim of this thesis is a complete draft of automatic pressure pumping station for apartment house, including centrifugal pump with electric motor, control unit and accessories in the form of pipe system, valves and pressure elements. Thesis is focused on calculation and construction of centrifugal pump, which would be able to use separately without placement to the whole pressure station. The idea is to create the station with request to the higher water-flow against commonly available standards and equally to achieve small production proportion, weight and mobility of the facility. The construction is furthermore focused on supporting elements and general layout of pressure pumping station setup. All electronics, pipes and measurement parts are solved as a purchased elements.

FEM analysis of carriage for top drive system of drilling rig and its modification

This diploma thesis deals with FEM analysis and optimization of carriage for top drive system of drilling rig Bentec 350 AC and it is defined as a development contract for company MND Drilling & Services a.s. Intensive drilling leads to damages and repeated occurrence of fatigue cracks on carriage especially along edges of welded ribs in their heat-affected zone. The aim of this thesis is to draft construction improvements of carriage which leads to elimination of damages. Realization of this modifications depends on correct definition of boundary conditions, analysis of damage occurrence as well as verification of carriage drafts with finite element method.

K tematice státní církevní politiky jsem se dostal po cestě, která měla svůj počátek ve studiu stranické periodické publicistiky, už tehdy se zaměřením na přinejmenším ideologické, zejména však náboženské otázky. V pojetí komunistické ideologie, jak o tom psal např.Karel Skalickýl, jsou totiž otázky vlastní ideologické propagandy a pozornosti věnované náboženské tématice spojitými nádobami, kde primárním zákonem je vztah vzájemné náhrady, tedy kde vyklizuje pole či ztrácí jedna z ideologií, tam se pokouší uspět ta druhá. Je třeba ponechat stranou fakt, že v souboji o duši řadového občana nemohla ani jedna ze stran získat skutečně majoritní ideologickou převahu v zemi. Pod komunistickým útlakem to byli sice křesť ané všech konfesí, kdo se stal trvale morálním vítězem tohoto boje, rozšiřovalo se tu však, a dodnes zůstává, velké procento lhostejných, těch bez vyznání či ateistů, které mohly, pokud se tak stalo, na jednu či druhou stranu fronty přivést více méně světské motivy, ať už byla motivace jakákoli. Výše zmíněný autor také dobře komentoval vztah komunistů k vlastní ideologii, kterou trefně, a ne bez alespoň kusu pravdy, nastínil jako jistý druh konfese, víry, náboženství. Když pojmeme jejich "vyznání" takto, snáze pochopíme, proč považovali věřící občany a především jejich duchovní vůdce obecně - a opět...

Dolní Vilémovice 1939-1945. A Czech Village under the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia The thesis deals with the destiny of Dolní Vilémovice, small village which lies in West Bohemia, during the Nazi occupation. It uses sources of local authorities and oral history to describe everyday life of Czech villagers throughout the Second World War. The village mentioned above was not chosen incidentally, as it is a birthplace of Jan Kubiš, one of czech soldiers who commited assassination attempt on Reinhard Heydrich. That is why this thesis also discusses the issue of German repressive measures against the local population, especially against Kubiš family, and anti-Nazi resistance.

"Decided otherwise..." The behavior of Czechoslovak paratroopers arrested in the territory of Ptotectorate 1941- 1943

This thesis is focused on fate of Czechoslovak paratroopers who were arrested by Nazi forces after being dropped into the territory of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. In several cases paratroopers turned themselves in to the police authorities voluntarily. The goal of this thesis is the analysis of paratroopers' behavior during the interrogations with focus on the information about the resistance and other paratrooper actions they gave to the Nazis. If the paratrooper was persuaded to collaborate with the Gestapo the thesis analyzes the collaborative activity and its results. Inhabitants of Hlučínsko-region in the Czechoslowak foreign army in the West

The thesis deals with the almost unknown theme - the soldiers from the district of Hlucin serving in the Czechoslovakian foreign legions in the West. Using the example of the inhabitants of the Hlucin area, it shows the conditions under which the former Wermacht soldiers' recruitment to the Czechoslovakian army had taken place. It tries to give a true picture of the specifics of the participants from the district of Hlucin in the foreign revolt and to outline the possible motivation for the decision to enter the foreign legions, the way the soldiers presented themselves in front of the interrogating officers as well as different views of their evaluation from the Czechoslovakian officers' perspective. The goal of the thesis is to show the almost unknown reality of their military service besides Wehrmacht and to bring the total number and ranks of the soldiers from the district of Hlucin within the Czechoslovakian troops to light. Both the quantitative analysis based on the list of the individual soldiers and several qualitative analyses dealing mostly with military draft and interrogation documents helped to reach the goal. Variability of the domestic chicken breeds in selected immunological traits of hen and egg

The avian immune system is a complex system of defence mechanisms that protect bird hosts against threats from ubiquitous pathogens. According to the co-evolutionary models, variability in immune traits of hosts is the key component providing ability to adapt and enhance their defence mechanisms in presence of constant selective pathogen pressure. Domestic chicken (Gallus gallus f. domestica) is used as a model organism in avian biology and also is one of the most important food-producing animals, not only for their meat but also for the egg production. Unfortunately, in research usually only inbred chicken lines are used and modern poultry husbandry is tight with unilateral breeding towards highly productive breeds. Those approaches decrease intra-population polymorphism in chickens. However, especially in case of farm animals, searching and extending the pool of immune variability and enhancing pathogen resistance is crucial for sustaining healthy and biologically secure populations and their products. Morphologically highly distinct traditional chicken breeds, which have evolved for hundreds years under different selective pressures, may represent this desirable immunological variability. Data measurement system

The thesis deals with design and implementation of an automated system for measuring, storing and analyzing data gathered from external hardware. At first, various architectures of data measurement systems are compared, their advantages and typical areas of application are described. Next, different types of measuring probes hardware and data analysis software solutions are compared. Various technologies usable in data measurement system implementation are discussed (in particular A/D converters, connecting the converter to the computer, comparing the software architectures and used technologies). Based on this discussion, technologies for implementation are chosen. The described implementation consists of two-channel probe equipped with 10-bit A/D converter and sample input modules for temperature and voltage. The probe is connected to the USB using the FTDI converter. Practically tested schematics for the probe hardware are included. The implemented software can be used in two configurations - base configuration for easy installation on one computer, hierarchical configuration for complex solutions running on several computers. The text of the thesis, executable files, the user documentation, documented source codes, and documentation of used electronic components can be found on the enclosed CD.
