Leisure time activities of students of 9th grade from the elementary schools in Prague and South Bohemia region

The aim of this work is to find out how 9th grade students in Prague and in the South Bohemia region spend their leisure time and also to compare how different interests and hobbies are in this age category between those living in Prague and in the small towns. This work also aims to determine whether the pupils know where they can spend their leisure time. The work is separated into two parts, a theoretical one and a practical one. The practical part describes the objectives and results of the research survey. The questionnaire examines the leisure time activities of 9th graders and also tries to determine whether the students are familiar with institutions and facilities that are intendend for leisure activities in the regions concerned. Aerobic, its characteristics, methodology and health benefits

The aim of this work is to create an educational DVD with aerobics classes for beginners and intermediate exercisers. The DVD is designed for children and adults who want to work out at home in their free time, for novice teachers of aerobics, to liven up their lessons, and finally for heads of various sports clubs teachers who would like to include aerobics to their lessons. In the theoretical part the characteristic of aerobics is introduced, its effect on human health, and particular types of aerobics, including racing. In conclusion of the theoretical part basic steps of aerobics are described. In addition, there is also English terminology and explanation of teaching methods that are used in aerobics classes. The practical part is devoted to the learning DVD. The introduction describes the preparation for filming, followed by a transcript of choreography and stretching exercises that are used in the video, and also instructions on how to start with an exercise and what to avoid. The conclusion of the practical part is focused on a review of the DVD. The evaluation was carried out using a questionnaire survey, which was attended by a total of 60 respondents. TITLE: Readiness of foreign languages teachers to teach students with specific learning disabilities AUTHOR: Dagmar Andršová DEPARTMENT: Department of pedagogy SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Veronika Blažková, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: Aim of my baccalaureate work was to find my orientation in types of learning disabilities, their causes and effects on teaching of foreign languages. And then describe educational methods and adopting of knowledge and skills for students with learning disabilities. I also aimed on role and attitude of teachers in education of pupils with learning disabilities. Through questionnaire inquiry I was investigating readiness and forms of education by teachers of foreign languages in this problematics, with evaluation of collected data and final summarization of this problematics. Work should serve not only for academical purposes, but also for informing teachers of foreign languages and choosing of their future work in educational process of pupils with specific learning disabilities.
