Security system with mobile comunication
Novák, Petr ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
The main aim of this work is to create such an electronical alarm system, which could be used at permanently or temporary inhabited areas or in cars. The advantage of this system is the possibility of the silent alarm, which is carried out by SMS. These messages are sent by to the owner or to the security company by GSM service. The first part of the project tries to solve the problem of guarded areas. It is necessary to deal with this problem, so that the system itself could work correctly. The second part describes the SMS contents and the way of communication between the microprocessor ATmega16 and the mobile phone Siemens C35 by AT commands. Up-to-date price comparison of these services, which are offered by mobile provider, are included in this part. The focus of the third part is hardware realisation of electronical alarm system. This part sloves connecting of battery backup, battery recharging in the mobile phone and analyses single sensors as well. In the last part the suitable algorithm with the help of a higher level programming language C is used for the microprocessor system.
The Marketing Mix Proposal in the Comapany
Hostinová, Zuzana ; Lazár, Lubor (referee) ; Novák, Petr (advisor)
The thesis should serve as a basis for strengthening the marketing mix Molpir, which became the European representative of MSI corporations and acts as an innovator, integrator and distributor of multimedia systems for buses, trains, ships and other mobile vehicles. The company proposes to improve the product, focusing on the user. I hope that my ideas and insights will help the company in its subsequent success in the market and increase the marketability of multimedia devices in the European market.
Vacant share
Novák, Petr ; Černá, Stanislava (advisor) ; Josková, Lucie (referee)
English summary rigorous thesis - Vacant share In this rigorous thesis named The Vacant Share I engage in analysis of the legal nature of the term vacant share in a private limited company and in analysis of legal relations pertaining to the release of a business share, especially of the use of a vacant share and property settlement with a former shareholder. The starting point for my conclusions is my emphasis on the content of the term share in a private limited company, thus emphasis on shareholder's participation in a company, which is represented by the share, while I infer the legal nature of a vacant share from the fact, that the release of a business share occurs as a result of termination of shareholder's participation in the company without anyone else getting into the position of the former shareholder. Although my conclusions gave rise to doubts whether a vacant share is a thing in legal sense, I finally came to the conclusion that a vacant share is an intangible movable thing which is not owned by anyone, even though it does not show legal features of a thing in legal sense. After all, a vacant share is a thing because the law stipulates so. In this thesis I significantly engage in analysis of legal relations regarding the use of a vacant share, in the course of which I identified features in...
Risks in Marketing Communication Management
Havlínová, Sabina ; Blaha, Petr (referee) ; Novák, Petr (advisor)
The subject of the master’s thesis „ Risk in the area managemarketing communication“ is analysis of the current status Obchodni Galerie Orli in Brno and suggestions for improving the communication mix and possible risks that may occur. The thesis is divided into three chapters, where are presented the theoretical bases for the given issue, futher analysis of the current state and the last chapter of the thesis contains proposals for a new communication mix.
Proposal for Development of the Manager
Prášek, Ondřej ; Remiš, Ivo (referee) ; Novák, Petr (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis is to make a proposal how a manager should develop himself, what abilities are necessary to emphasise and what the key features of the right manager are. The theoretical part deals with the manager issues and manager development. It solves and tries to answer the question how the manager should develop himself and what he should do for his personal development. The result of this thesis is my own proposal and recommendation for a young ambitious manager. This proposal has been based on the combination of qualitative and quantitative research.
Marketing Strategy Proposal of Cooperative
Úradníková, Nikola ; Přikryl, Pavel (referee) ; Novák, Petr (advisor)
This Diploma Thesis deals with marketing strategy of Brisk, production cooperative. It contains theoretical knowledge from the field of marketing. The practical part focuses on the analysis of the current situation of the cooperative. Based on the information from marketing analyzes are recommended proposals for the imporvement of marketing policy of the cooperative.
Study of molecular organization of cytochrome P450 system using photoactivatable proteins
Dědič, Jan ; Hodek, Petr (advisor) ; Novák, Petr (referee)
The cytochrome P450 system plays an important role in metabolism of endogenous compounds and xenobiotics. This system consists of cytochrome P450, NADPH:cytochrome P450 oxidoreductase (CPR), cytochrome b5 and NADH:cytochrome b5 reductase (CYB5R3). Explanation of protein-protein interactions among these reaction partners is essential for understanding the function of the entire system. Covalent cross-linking is a favorable method for studying these interactions. In this work a photo-activatable analogue of amino acid L-methionine (L-photo-methionine) was used as a cross-linking agent. This work is focused on the organic synthesis of L-photo-methionine, expression and isolation of CPR and CYB5R3 as photoactivable proteins containing incorporated L-photo-methionine. Auxotrophic strain of E.coli B834 (DE3) and minimal media were used for the expression. CYB5R3 with incorporated L-photo-methionine was successfully expressed and isolated. The extent of L-photo-methionine incorporation was verified by mass spectrometry. Furthermore, the photo-initiated cross-linking of CYB5R3 with cytochrome b5 was tested. Key words: photolabile amino acid, protein expression, synthesis
Metagenomic profiling of microbial consortia
Rídl, Jakub ; Pačes, Jan (advisor) ; Krásný, Libor (referee) ; Novák, Petr (referee)
Methods of molecular biology enable studies on microbial diversity based on analysis of genes encoding processes and biochemical pathways of individual microorganisms and also complete microbial consortia. For this a crucial step was elaboration of new technologies of high-throughput DNA sequencing. These methods made it possible to advance studies of diversity from analysis of genomes of model microorganisms easily cultivated in laboratories to simple communities living in extreme environments and further to complex microbial consortia. This experimental approach is based on metagenomic analyses. Important are studies on ecosystems negatively affected by human activity where microorganisms not only survive but they can convert their metabolism to degrade compounds toxic for higher organisms. An example is bacterium Achromobacter xylosoxidans A8 isolated form soils contaminated by toxic chlorobenzoates. Sequencing and analysis of Achromobacter xylosoxidans A8 genome made it possible to study genes coding for enzymes that are involved in chlorobenzoates degradation in the context of the complete genetic background. An interesting microbial biofilm - gelatinous stalactites - was discovered in an extremely acidic environment of the abandoned mine in Zlaté Hory (the Czech Republic). It is formed by a simple...
Regression models in survival analysis and reliability
Novák, Petr ; Volf, Petr (advisor) ; Antoch, Jaromír (referee) ; Dohnal, Gejza (referee)
Regression models in survival analysis and reliability Doctoral thesis Petr Novák Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics Abstract: In present work we study methods for modeling the dependence of data from sur- vival and reliability setting on available explanatory variables. The first part of the work compares the properties of the Cox proportional hazards model, Aalen additive model and the Accelerated failure model for survival data. We present methods for testing goodness-of-fit based on counting processes and martingale theory, allowing to identify which model fits the data best. The second part focuses on modeling the lifetime of repairable systems. We study the means of incorporating the history of studied devices into the models, including the influence of corrective repairs and preventive maintenance actions. We demonstrate the introduced methods on real applications and study their properties in various situations on simulated data. 1
