Theatre work of people with mental disability

The subject of my task deals with the work of disabled theatre performers with the aim to analyze and describe the entire process of creation of a theatre performance in an amateur assemble. Furthermore, the benefit of the dramatic production for both personal as well as social development of the disabled performers, derived from the theoretical assumptions, was evaluated. The work at first highlights the features and classification of the metal retardation degree and is trying to inform about very special expressive approaches in both therapeutics and pedagogy. Much attention is paid to the drama-related therapies, such as dramatherapy and especially teatrotherapy which will underline the outcome of the whole creation process - a performance. The dramatic production itself, set within the framework of the expressive abovementioned therapies, is influenced by the way of the dramatic education and, therefore, its fundamental principles and methods of its creation are presented as well. Through the common instruments employed in the quality research, i.e. the observations and interviews with the participants in the drama-creation scheme, the whole process of the performance creation from rehearsal to the premiere is explored. Aktive time use of people with mental disabilities: case studies of clients from supported housing

This bachelor thesis is focused on the active spending of time of people with mental disabilities who are users of supported housing. The thesis is divided into two main parts, namely the theoretical part and the practical part. The first chapter of the theoretical part defines the mental disability, presents the classification of mental retardation and, also focuses on the aetiology of mental disability. The second chapter focuses on the period of adulthood, the division of individual stages of adulthood and their characteristics, the period of adulthood for people with mental disabilities and the psychological peculiarities of persons with mental disabilities. The third chapter characterizes the social service of supported housing and, at the same time, there is a summary of other housing opportunities for people with mental disabilities. The fourth chapter defines the concept of leisure time and deals with the issue of spending leisure time in people with mental disabilities. The research part is realised as qualitative. For data collection was used the method of interview. The interviews were conducted with users of supported housing and a personal assistant of the same supported housing. Role of teaching assistant in inclusive schools

The bachelor thesis focuses on the role of a teaching assistant in the inclusive education system. Attention is paid mainly to what new brings into his profession the acceptance of the act No. 82/2015 Coll., which amends Act No. 561/2004 Coll., on pre-school, basic, secondary, higher vocational and other education which with supplementary Decree No. 27/2016 Coll., on education of pupils with special educational needs and gifted pupils, came into force on September 1, 2016. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part aims at the characteristics of the profession of teaching assistant, defining the concept of inclusion in the context of new legislative changes, as well as the description of students with special educational needs. The practical part concentrates on teaching assistant's view of his role in the school education system, the co-operation between a teaching assistant and a teacher, whether they make the preparations of lessons together and how communication between them takes place. A case study of the problem of coexistence and bullying in 7th grade elementary Waldorf school

The theoretical frame of the dissertation is, with regard to the topic of the study, aimed at the structure, dimension and socialization of student's personality, conception of behavioral patterns at school as well as group dynamics. The current development phase of students in the 7th grade is dealt with in the chapters concerning the processes in adolescence and educational problems. The dissertation describes in detail characteristics of both the agressor as well as the victim of bullying, causes of agresivity and anxiety. The theoretical part of the dissertation is concluded by rich sources of how to prevent and cure groups who have to face problematic behaviour or bullying. The practical part of the disserta- tion has a form of case study, with the help of analysis, comparison of ethopedic and special educational and educational diagnostics.Data have been gathered concerning the disruption and dynamics of social contacts among 7th grade students of waldorf school. Cohesion and climate in the class are dealt with here. The results of this study offer the basis for a realization of a preventive programme. Role of special education teacher at elementary school

The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate the role of special education teacher at elementary school in the present condition. It's concerned especially with the position at school, with the activities and methods of the work and with the professional relationships. The theoretical part focuses on the development of the special education and mainly on the contemporaray special arrangements. This master thesis describes the groups of pupils who need the arrangement from the school and other school institutions. The text shows the charakteristics of individual eduactional plans and of school consultancy services, including the special education teacher and the particular aspects of this profession, based on scientific literature. The empirical part is based on the mixed research. It schows the examples of the practice, the issue is the analysis of five interviews with special education teachers from the basic schools. These interviews illustrative the current role and activities of this profession. Subsequently I analyse data of the questionnaire of forty respondents, directors of basic schools, who described their experience with special school teachers. Bibliotherapy: Using for work with physically disabled clients

The thesis deals with a phenomenon of bibliotherapy and a possible use of this art therapy in special education, above all with accent to work with physically handicapped clients. First part describes theory and history of bibliotherapy, second part is focused on a relationship between bibliotherapy and psychology of person with disability, including possibilities of using bibliotherapy in the area of special education. Third part deals with therapeutic literature in relation to physical handicaps and investigates the extent of applying bibliotherapy in organisations for physically handicapped people.
