Ocular burns in eye traumatology emphatically on chemical burns

Burns to the sclera, conjunctiva, cornea, and eyelid are considered ocular burns. Ocular burn injuries are classified by etiologic agents as either chemical injuries (ie, acid, alkali) or radiant energy injuries (ie, thermal, ultraviolet). Chemical injuries to the eye represent one of the true ophthalmic emergencies. While almost any chemical can cause ocular irritation, serious damage generally results from either strongly basic (alkaline) compounds or acidic compounds. Alkali injuries are more common and can be more deleterious. Bilateral chemical exposure is especially devastating, often resulting in complete visual disability. Immediate, prolonged irrigation, followed by aggressive early management and close long-term monitoring, is essential to promote ocular surface healing and to provide the best opportunity for visual rehabilitation.

It also includes an analysis of risks in the workplace of packaging line, based on which subsequently proposes measures to minimize risks and improve safety.

Tax Havens

The thesis deals with the issue of tax optimization through the tax havens. The first part of this thesis contains definitions of the key terms related to the issue. The second part deals with the history of tax havens and describes the current fights against them. The particular countries which belong to the tax havens are concretely analyzed in the next part of this thesis. The countries are organized into the groups by the possibility of using them in specific types of business in the fourth part.

The Master's Thesis analyzes in detail the company STUDENT AGENCY, k.s.. This thesis includes a financial analysis of the years 2008 - 2012, followed by a strategical analysis of STUDENT AGENCY'S current operations. All the gained information is synthesized with the SWOT analysis that creates the base for the author's recommendations regarding the business strategy. The Master's Thesis consists of the introduction, the theoretical section, the practical section and the conclusion. In the introduction the basic facts are explained and the motives for writing this thesis are described. The used methodology is described in the theoretical section and then applied on the company in the practical section. In the closure the summary of the findings is made.

This Bachelor's Thesis analyzes the development of the financial situation of the "Chodovar spol. s r.o." company in the years 2006 -- 2010. The thesis consists of two main parts -- theoretical and practical. All used methods are introduced in the theoretical part. Then the methods are applied on the concrete company in the practical part. The results will be summarized and evaluated at the end of the thesis.

Applicability of the device for neural computer control

The main goal of this paper is to test the applicability of the device for neural computer control on a group of ten volunteers. In the next part of the paper author focuses on Electroencephalography and the conversion of analog neural signals from brain to digital form. Next chapter describes currently on the market available devices, which allow customers direct computer controlling with the usage of bio signal from brain. The device selected for the purposes of this paper (Emotiv Epoc) is more described in detail. The last goal is an attempt to predict the future development of this technology. The paper demonstrates applicability of this device in its current form for everyday work with Microsoft Project and presents users who are able to learn to control a computer with this device in just 980 minutes of training.

Analysis of B2B demand portals market and perspective of its development

This paper analyzes Czech market of B2B e-marketplaces. First part is focused on mapping of the whole market, its main aim is to find as many of these marketplaces as possible. Every single e-marketplace is tabularly processed with mentioning of the basic data. Second part of the paper compares them on the basis of predefined metrics. This part is full of tables and diagrams for better lucidity of analyzed data. Third part discusses predictions for the future of the whole market. Is it possible, that one strong e-marketplace will emerge and conquer the whole market? What technologies are on the horizon? Are there any threats to this market? These are the questions that this part brings answers to.
