Analysis of Non-Profit Organizations in selected Districts

This thesis is focused on analysis of the services of NGOs in selected districts, which are Tabor and Pisek. The theoretical and methodological part, we discuss the role of non-profit sector in the national economy structure and functions of the nonprofit sector. It describes a selection of legal forms of nonprofit organizations, methods and forms of financing and their scope. The subject is a survey of the practical range of services offered by non-profit sector in selected districts. The survey focuses on the following legal forms of organizations: foundations, endowment funds, associations of legal persons, representing the diakonia of charity and religious organizations, educational, legal entities, charitable organizations, political parties, political movements and associations (union, association, club, etc.) and contributory organizations.
A Town Friendly to People

This thesis deals with the cities friendly to people and aims to explain the concept of sustainable urban development. In the theoretical part I describe the main points that the city friendly to people should meet. That means in front of all the quality of life in cities, public spaces, transport infrastructure and places for rest, to relax. In the practical part two representative cities of that concept are presented - the French city of Lyon and the capital of Denmark - Copenhagen. In the following chapters of the practical part town I analyze the town of Jindřichův Hradec and the conclusion suggests changes in the "Náměstí míru" square so that the town of Jindřichův Hradec was friendly to people.
The Importance, Value and Price of Education

The presented thesis characterizes education by means of an economic theory. The aim of the practical part is an investigation through an opinion poll comprising a response of the general public to issues related to the importance of education, its contribution and the distribution of the responsibility for the sphere between the State and its citizens. The practical part also comprises a contemplation over the price and value of education, respectively with regard to higher school education.
Social Networks in the Sphere of Tourism

The object of thesis is to evaluate possibilities for offer services in development of tourism by using social networks. Emphasis is placed on the most widely used social networks in Czech Republic. The theoretical part will be processed by the general issue of tourism and development in information and communication technologies with emphasis on application in marketing. In the practical part will be realized research about scope of travel agencies on social networks. The design part of thesis is given to options of optimal use of social network Facebook for selected travel agency Levante Ltd., which currently does not use social networking opportunities. Therefore, they proposed various steps designed to fully exploit the marketing potential of this network.
Science and Research as an Important Positive Externality

The work focuses on the issue of research and development funding from public resources, mainly on the project funding of applied research. The aim of the work is to describe some aspects, which were brought to this area by Science, research and innovations reform approved by the Czech Government on 26th March 2008. Public intervention in this area is discussed in terms of the basic economic theories. The efficiency of public funds spending is discussed in terms of the cost-output-quality output-benefit chain. The part of the work is a comparison of the state funding of the applied research and development in the Czech Republic and other countries. The work tries to find some connections between changes in the way of assessing research quality and direction of financial flows in this area.
Major Trends in the Presentation of Tourism in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the evaluation of the Czech Republic presentation as a touristic destination. The work mainly focuses on the content analysis and financial aspect of the past few years, including the outlook for the future. The thesis deals with importance of tourism for the chosen destination, the Czech Republic and utilizations of promotion to keep benefits from tourism on certain level or how to cause an increase in these benefits. Analyzing and comparison indicate contradictions and main weaknesses and strengths, which can be used as well.
Analysis of Tourism Development in Klasterec nad Ohri

This bachelor thesis deals with tourism and its further development in Klasterec nad Ohri. In the theoretical part is described tourism and the most important knowledge concerning tourism. There are also introduced analytical tools which were used in the practical part of the thesis. This part analyzes conditions and assumptions for tourism allocation and development in the city and also, with the help of conducted survey, evaluates a satisfactory rate of visitors and inhabitants of the city with the fulfillment of these conditions and assumptions. The mentioned analyses are the fundamentals of the SWOT analysis of tourism in Klasterec nad Ohri which is the source for the final strategy draft. The suggested strategy should lead to the development of tourism in the city.
Economic Crisis Impacts of the Labour Market in the Czech Republic focused on the Central Bohemian Region

The purpose of my bachelor thesis is to analyze the impact of economic crisis on labor market in central Bohemia. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part simply characterizes the economic crisis, the reason of its existence and its development. In the practical part, I decided to find consequences of the crisis using survey. I build a survey that concerns unemployment issues, job offers and salaries.
Content Analysis of Selected Media Case

The bachelor thesis Content analysis of selected media cause focuses on the articles about so called swine flu. These articles are emitted by two Czech internet journals (Aktuálně.cz and Novinky.cz). The purpose of this work is to apply the quantitative and the qualitative content analysis on these articles to find what impression they give. There is a theoretic description of media, their content and their importance in the first part of this thesis. Furthermore each journal and also the topic of selected articles are described. In the second part the results of content analysis are described in detail and compared between mentioned journals.
