Recycling of asphalt mixtures for low-traffic roads

This bachelor's thesis deals with 100% pure recycling by method of hot mix asphalt recycling using a rejuvenating additive (so-called rejuvenator) for the device development in cooperation with an external company. The aim of bachelor's thesis is to determine the amount of dosing of the rejuvenator and to determine the compaction temperature for the processing the asphalt mixture. On the basis of determining the properties of the reclaimed asphalt pavement, by means of tests in the laboratory. According to the determined properties of the reclaimed asphalt pavement, the percentage of rejuvenator required to achieve the required properties of the asphalt mixture for subsequent processing and laying on the road.

The diploma thesis describes the issue of urban planning. Theoretically acquaints the reader with urban planning, zoning plan and processing. The current state of the zoning plan and its changes is analyzed on the example of a selected municipality. Based on these findings, further development possibilities of the municipality are proposed.

Smart socket for electrical parameters analysis with possibility of controlling connected appliances

Thesis deals with the design of intelligent electrical socket. At the beginning of the thesis, there are described the characteristics of the distribution network in the Czech Republic and the ways of measuring these properties. The selected integrated circuit that realizes the measurement is described in detail. The third chapter deals with the current possibilities of power management, especially from the perspective of the distribution company and the concept of smart networks. The fourth chapter deals with the selection of communication interface suitable for smart socket as an element of smart home. The selected IEEE 802.15.4 standard and the microcontroller implementing the communication itself are described in more detail. The following part of the work is about design of the intelligent socket development board, on which the concept is tested and the design of the final hardware is described in this chapter. The last chapter describes the measurement results realized by the created device.

Banner Advertisement in Online Marketing and its Impact on the Internet Users

The bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of banner advertising in online marketing and the influence it has on Internet users. The structure of the thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to the general knowledge of banner advertising. It discusses reasons for using banner advertising, its individual types, targeting and purchasing of banner advertising on the Internet. These topics are divided into individual chapters that focus predominantly on banner advertising from the viewpoint of advertisers. The final two chapters of the theoretical part deal with topics related to the role of the user, namely adblocking, anti-adblocking and banner blindness. The thesis contains an analysis of these concepts describes their influence on the Internet environment. Concerning banner blindness, international studies are further used to describe banner advertising factors that can affect this phenomenon. The practical part contains an empirical analysis of different banner ad sizes based on anonymised data from concluded advertising campaigns in AdWords and Sklik. Smart aquarium management system

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of an intelligent aquarium management system. The system is going to be based on the i.Mx8DV platform with graphical output on the touch screen. In the thesis, the methods of measuring and controlling the quantities, that are critical for the proper operation of the aquarium, are discussed. Also, the i.Mx8DV platform and the Neutrino operating system are described. This thesis solves the selection of suitable sensors and design of printed circuit board for connection of the i.Mx8DV platform with selected sensors. The principles of network communication and web server implementation options are described. In the end, the application is described.

Energy from Agricultural Land

Thesis is concerned with relation of usable energy and space as it's widely spread source. For this purpose are introduced not only a few indicators suitable to energy management description, but also principles of environmental assessment thinking are expained, as these help to distinguish the really sustainable ways of deriving energy from space. As examples of energy-from-space extraction are introduced photovoltaics, liquid biofuels and fast growing energy plants. After a brief entry to heat supply problematics, focus is remains on a simple case study: quantifying relationship between local heat demand and local potential production of solid biomass from short rotation coppice. This so far rather hypothetic relation is examined at the municipal level, while Central and South Bohemia regions are the target area. Soil characteristics and population census data (2001) about residental habitats are used.
