New Sports Hall in Studénka
Cihlář, Jan ; Hronský,, Michal (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the sphere of sport as an important aspect of life in Studénka, the town in the northeast of the Czech Republic. The history of the town is closely connected with the local production of wagons in Vagonka Studénka. This resulted in a large increase in the population of the town, whose interest was to build a number of sports facilities that are still in use. However, their current state no longer corresponds to the current needs of local residents and sports clubs. Therefore the town’s efforts are to gradually reconstruct the sports complex and add suitable architecture. The currently discussed topic is the construction of a new sports hall designated for the needs of both professional and non–professional public, which can stand being compared for its design and content within the Moravian–Silesian Region.
Own family house
Novák, Jakub ; Mrva, Kamil (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
The design of multi-generation house on the piece of land which belongs to the investor family for six generations is based on the proportions of a traditional Czech Elbeland house. The resulting layout provides a logical construction in stages according to the actual needs of the young family. Dimensionally, the building is trying to convey the dialogue between the optimal contours of the thermal envelope of passive house and the traditional silhouette. Lamina part of the roof jacket assumes abbreviated form of this silhouette, creating a soft transition zones between the interior and exterior - stoop and covered terrace. Cubic mass of the building protrudes slightly from this outlines, making the composition more surprising. The house is designed in a passive energy standard, using hay bales as insulation and adobe bricks (made on site from local clay) as a filling for non-bearing partitions to improve thermal accumulation properties of the object. Structures are mostly wooden and from agglomerated wooden materials. The whole design is based on the assumption of self-help construction, taking into account the least possible interference in the landscape we very much respect.
The drive of the feed coordinate portal machining center using a rack and pinion
Bartoš, Michal ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design the drive of the feed coordinate portal machining center using a gear rack and pinion. The thesis contains researches from the area of CNC machining centers for non-rotating parts and sliding linear systems. Market analysis of portal machining centers of type of lower gantry with a gear rack and pinion was done. Furthermore, several design variants are proposed in terms of positioning the drive on the machine. These variants were further compared and the best option was selected for the specified machine. Subsequently, the technical calculation of the drive is performed and individual parameters and structural elements are proposed. The thesis also includes a 3D model of the proposed variant and the required drawing documentation.
Architectural study of the sacral object Brno - Líšeň
Bortlová, Kateřina ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor)
The content of the diploma thesis was an architectural study of a sacral building in Brno - Líšeň. The subject of the study was the elaboration of an ideological design of a sacral complex, which consisted of a church and a parish. The main operator of the whole complex will be the Salesian community, whose background is in close proximity to the area. The basic idea of the design was to design a spiritual place, which in its form conveys clear information about the use of the object and at the same time supports the development of ideas of the Salesian community. It is a structure that conveys the mission itself, not by one element, but by a set of several elements that together create a story, vision, mission. The ideological solution in this case thus becomes an equilateral triangle, which symbolizes the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. With its dominant vertical direction facing the sky, the object symbolically points to the spiritual path and self-realization. The given area is solved as a complex, the elements of which complement each other and thus create a harmonious whole. The design creates a space for both liturgical celebrations in the interior and exterior, which is used by the outdoor presbytery, which is complemented by residential stairs. These elements are intended to encourage residents to meet and establish friendly relations.
Multifunctional machining centers for machining rotating and prismatic parts
Grätz, Tomáš ; ing.Petr Polišenský, TOSHULIN,a.s. (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
In this master's thesis is elaborated lay-out, calculations and technical drawings to multi-function machining center. Here is applied solution with vertical carousel combined together with the upper gantry milling machine. The aim of my work is to design a compact milling ram allowing turning and milling in deep slots or next to the tall walls of the workpiece. Furthermore here is elaborated lay-out of automatic tool change with magazine and lay-out of clamping exchangeable milling heads. Emphasis is placed on the manufacturability and reliability of the whole structure.
Špica/ Brno, Nové sady 49°11'20.3"N 16°36'29.4"E
Repaský, Adam ; Šandera, Lumír (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis concerns about the design of microurbanism and the city hall building for Brno - Střed. The aim of this work is to find a suitable strategy for the development of an open city block. The area is located on the corner of Hybešová and Nové Sady streets. The vision is a welcome modern city hall, which promotes dialogue with citizens, is a functional workplace and a meeting place for people, officials, and politicians. From the city hall the opportunity to see the city at work. The city hall is surrounded not only by a public space but literally attacked by citizens in the form of a public services market under one platform. Emphasis was placed on the urban and architectural concept for a suitable connection of the territory and the form of the new city hall with the city. The town hall places an important emphasis not only on the territory itself but on the whole city.
Design of linear axis for heavy machine tool
Horák, Miroslav ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of linear axis for heavy machine tool. The thesis describes the definition of heavy machine tool and its basic construction nodes. The next chapter describes the components of the linear feed assemblages, the basic principles of use and their advantages and disadvantages. On the basis of this research part there are selected variants of the solution and in the last part of the thesis there is a design of the axis X of the gantry machine tool. Part of the work is a 3D model of the proposed feed assemblages and part of the drawing documentation.
A town-hall in Kopřivnice
Pešková, Klára ; Zdvomka, Ondřej (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
Objective of the Master thesis is a design of an adaptation and an activation of townhall building situated in the centre of Kopřivnice town. Location of the project is a site of trapezoidal shape slightly tilted towards railways on Štefánikova street. The design aspires to create a sufficient working space for townhall employees and at the same time to produce a space suitable for living, work and activities sought-after by a younger generation especially. Design of the multifunctional house offers start-up and communal housing (so called co-living) of 1+kk to 4+kk dispositions and a coworking space. The townhall’s layout is designed according to current trends in public administration with emphasis on openness, hospitability and consideration to citizens. Multi-purpose hall, completing the entire design, is above all supposed to serve as citizen assembly tool. Parking is provided by a current parking lot and a parking house. Design of the spatial layout creates static composition of buildings, which completes the distinctive townhall construction.
