Influence of the school environment for developing eating disorders gaze of ex-patient of Havlíčkobrodsko

This diploma thesis deals with eating disorders, their causes and displays. It is based on the assumption that former patients are able to assess what was the main cause of their problems. The theoretical part defines particular eating disorders, their history, risk factors of their emergence, diagnosis, epidemiology and health complications accompanying this diseases. The practical part focuses on obtaining information by friendly interview with open questions. The qualitative research includes case studies of six women, four of them are over the age of 20 years and two of them over the age of 40 years. The main objective was to discover how they were affected by the school environment in relation to her own body and what attitude do they have to the prospective prevention programs at our schools. The part with recommendations tries to enlarge already existing prevention programs at schools. There are some proposals for cooperation between schools and professional institutions, workshops with patients and some suggestions to lessons of Health education. Further there are mentioned some projects focused on interpersonal relationships and healthy lifestyle. Finally, there are some suggestions focused on education of teachers and parents of students in the prevention of ED.

Title: Attitudes of high school students in the Sedlčany of selected aspects of lifestyle Abstract: Diploma project covers adolescent's lifestyle in one region and high school students approach to risk aspects. Today's environment offers many options when comes to nutrition, free time activities and overall life style. Even there are many ideas and positive examples of good lifestyle, there are still negative cases that needs to be shown. Collecting of risk factors with adolescent is the duty of public health initiative. Therefore, adolescents should be primary target group when comes to designing preventive activities. Project consist of theoretical and practical part. Approach to life style of target age group is the main topic of theoretical part. Initial chapter covers high school student's approach, from one region, to lifestyle, nutrition, drugs & alcohol. Project is trying to come up with set of recommendations that could have a positive effect. Acquired data allows us to get insight to high school students in Sedlcany and sorted in tables and graphs. Teaching consumer literacy for students of second stage of elementary education on the example of dairy products

In developed countries, the majority of the population perceives food only from the viewpoint of a consumer. Few know its origin, production technology and composition, and they can't critically evaluate, which products are beneficial in terms of proper nutrition. Therefore, this work deals with the development of consumer literacy in the area of food, i.e. food literacy among pupils of second stage of elementary school, where is not systematic given attention to this theme. As an appropriate example for teaching were chosen milk and dairy products, which are an essential part of healthy eating mostly in childhood. In line with the objectives of this work has been created structured summary of the findings of these foods serving as a theoretical background for teachers. It was also done research survey about knowledge and attitudes to milk and dairy products among pupils of second stage of elementary school. It turned out that in the surveyed sample, most of the pupils consume milk and basic dairy products (butter, cheese, yoghurt), but the consumption of other fermented dairy products is considerably lower. Creativity of teachers in the educational process in special elementary school

The diploma thesis "Creativity of teachers in the educational process in special elementary school" focuses on teachers in special elementary schools at this moment. The thesis is divided into four parts. First three chapters sumarizes the facts about creativity gained from the special literature. The first chapter sumarizes generall knowledges about creativity. It describes the notion of creativity and compares the definitions of various authors. In the second chapter it describes creativity from the view of the special pedagogues and describes the creative methods which may be used by them during the educational process. The second chapter also describes the barriers which can appeares on the way to creativity. The third chapter focuses on the meaning of special pedagogues for the special elementary schools. It describes special elemetary schools and how can special pedagogues develop their own creativity and which creative methodes they can use during teaching. Health education in the secondary school curriculum from the perspective of the teacher, the student and the parent

The thesis follows the theoretical foundation, options and practical application of Education for Health with regards to the growing significance in Person and Health in school educational programmes. The theoretical part focuses on the history and development in the filed of the Education for Health since the 16th century up until the reformation of the czech educational system after 1989. This part also concentrates on the options of fulfilling and understanding the curriculum goals in the current environment in primary schools. The practical part maps the approach of the Education for Health in a specific primary school environment, which focuses on different opinions of the educator, pupils and parents, with emphasis on the qualitative research. Based on the evaluation of the theoretical basis of the curriculum on the one hand and the practical realization of this domain in the selected school on the other hand, the author suggests possible adjustments in the realization of Education for Health in the specific school. How nutritional preferences of high school students in the region of Olomouc are influenced by staying in boarding schools

TITLE How nutritional preferences of high school students in the region of Olomouc are influenced by staying in boarding schools AUTHOR Marie Bukovjanová DEPARTMENT Department of Special Pedagogy ADVISOR PaedDr. Eva Marádová, CSc. ABSTRACT This bachelor thesis examines the differences in dietary habits and preferences of high school students who stay in boarding schools during the school year compared to high school students who live at home with their parents. The students attending different types of high schools in the region of Olomouc are the target group of this research. Based on the results, which were obtained by a questionnaire survey in which 248 respondents were involved, it was found that the nutritional habits and preferences of both groups of adolescents differ in certain aspects. Simultaneously, however, it was found that there are not significant differences between the diets of these two observed groups of high school students which was assumed in the initial hypothesis. Based on the interview with the main educator of the selected boarding school in Olomouc, it was found that adolescents staying in boarding schools are, compared with peers who live at home with their parents, exposed to factors that may fundamentally disrupt their nutritional habits and preferences.
