Stress-strain analysis of spinal segment with fixator
Mach, Ondřej ; Valášek, Jiří (referee) ; Marcián, Petr (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with strain-stress analysis of a spine segment with an introduced fixator and a spine in natural physiological state. The work starts with a research study of literature sources that focus on similar issues. Furthermore, basic anatomy terminology and basic procedures for human spine stabilization were described. The formulated issue was resolved by computational modelling with the use of the finite element method. This solution requires a suitable computational model to be produced. This model consists of partial geometry, material, bond, and loading models. The geometric model was produced on the basis of CT scan images of a 60-year-old man which were used for producing five spine vertebrae T11–L3. Moreover, the geometric model consists of four intervertebral discs and eight articular cartilages. The material model includes homogeneous, heterogeneous and degraded properties of bone tissue. The strain-stress analysis was performed for seven loading states, which concern basic movements of human spine – standing, bending forward, bending backwards, bending left, bending right, left rotation and right rotation, with the use of ANSYS software. The assessed and analysed quantities include spine segment displacement, contact pressure of articular cartilages and stress on the fixator.
Steam boiler for wood burning 40t/h
Mach, Ondřej ; Křemínský, pavel (referee) ; Skála, Zdeněk (advisor)
The purpose of this Diploma Thesis is the construction design of the steam-boiler for the combustion of biomass – wood pellets. For the specified parameters have been defined stoichiometric calculations and calculations enthalpy burnt gas. In sequence, there is designed and solved the configuraion of the steam-boiler, so that the result design and the number of the heat-delivery surfaces can be determined, in dependence on the required inlet parametres of the air and outlet parametresof the water vapour. These parametres mean the amount, the temparature and the pressure. The aim of the thesis is to make a design of the steam.boiler burning biomass according to the set parametres. This very ecological fuel can really substitute the fossil fuel and friendly respect the environment.
Analysis of chosen methods for solution of torsion of non-circular bars
Mach, Ondřej ; Rozehnalová, Petra (referee) ; Novák, Kamil (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with analysis of chosen methods for solution of torsion of non-circular bars. The thesis is divided into two sections – theoretical section and research section. There have been introduced all needed terms and formulas used in analysed methods in the first part. In the second part, solutions of analytical methods have been compared with solutions obtained by numerical method FEM (Finite Element Method) modeled in ANSYS software.
Automated Testing of Smart Card Authentication in GUI
Establishment and Termination of a Membership in a Cooperative Society
Mach, Ondřej ; Oehm, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Černá, Stanislava (referee)
Establishment and termination of a membership in a cooperative society Membership in a cooperative society is a basic cooperative relationship due to the fact that a cooperative society is a corporation which cannot exist without personal substrate and which cannot have solely one member. The understanding of establishment and termination of a membership is hence essential for the mere existence of a cooperative society. The task of this thesis is to describe in detail the means of establishment and termination of a membership in a cooperative society. This thesis provides a comprehensive explanation of individual means, especially with respect to the terms and their legal consequences. My goal was to point out the problematic issues and describe how those issues are resolved in theory and how they are solved by legal practice. I also attempted to compare those issues with foreign regulation, especially with German and Austrian ones. It was necessary to compare the Czech regulation with international cooperative principles since the Czech understanding of a cooperative law is frequently challenged by misunderstanding of those principles. Apart from the general principles applicable to all cooperative societies, I was in detail describing housing cooperative associations and European cooperative society...
