Upgrade of the laboratory task of KNX system installation
Hrubeš, Zbyněk ; Müller, Richard (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with both the theoretical analysis of the KNX bus system, but it is also practically focused on working with KNX products and their programming. In the introductory theoretical part are described the KNX bus system itself, its characteristic properties, functional principle, topological arrangement, possibilities of using communication media and the advantages that brings, in comparison with classic installations in houses and buildings. The next section deals with the description of ETS software for design, planning, programming, and commissioning of KNX installations. Furthermore, the assessment of the possibilities of visualizations for the control of the KNX system, the use of visualization tools designed for this and their subsequent implementation in the laboratory task are discussed. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis is focused on the design of laboratory tasks and their programming using EST6 software using jigs with KNX devices from the company HDL Automation, which were made during the semester work. The output of the bachelor's thesis will be laboratory instructions for teaching and a understanding of working with the KNX system.

The Specifics of a Russian Phenomenology and IIs Its Relevance for Literary Studies
Šimák, Petr ; Svatoň, Vladimír (advisor) ; Dohnal, Josef (referee) ; Müller, Richard (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to advert to precarious position of the history of literature and some other literature theories. The history of literature describes literary texts as dead historical objects. Although it's a human science, it disregards a human beings and their life-world. It rather categorize technically literary texts into different groups. This approach is purely scientific. The history of literature as many other branches of literary science solves their own abstract problems through the abstract theories which has no aim to interpret the literary text as a specific experience for a reader. The article points out how the scientific approach to the literary text disable to interpret a conrete literary text in the sense for human being. I use phenomenological philosophy as a proposal of another type of approach to the interpretation. Interpretation in the phenomenological sence means that through literary text the interpret seeks to understand our living world. In the other parts I follow the trail of phenomenological philosophy in tradition of Prague structuralism. Especially I focus on specifics of Russian phenomenology, particularly in philosophies of these Russian philosophers which dealed with interpretation of art (namely J. Golosovker, B. Engelgardt, G. G. Shpet, M. Bakhtin etc.). At the...

Man without Memory: The Work of Max Picard in Contemporary Philosophical and Literary Contexts
Svárovská, Nicol ; Vojvodík, Josef (advisor) ; Müller, Richard (referee) ; Fulka, Josef (referee)
The PhD Thesis Man without Memory: The Work of Max Picard in Contemporary Philosophical and Literary Contexts focuses on the thought of the Swiss philosopher Max Picard. Reflections on language and silence stand out as the foundation of Picard's thinking, from which unfold the themes of time, memory and forgetting, the media, total war, the atomic bomb, the Eichmann phenomenon, and the identification with the perpetrator. Picard's thoughts on total war and the atomic bomb are set in the context of the works of Martin Heidegger, Hannah Arendt or Günther Anders. The event of the atomic bomb - understood phenomenologically as the first human experience of totality - is interpreted as an external manifestation of the inner transformation of man. By depicting the so-called "acoustics of war", the Thesis gives context to Picard's reflections on total war and radio in Nazi Germany. Picard's critique of the media reflects the ontological transformation of man, associated with the loss of word and the transition from visual to acoustic. The themes of forgetting, discontinuity, atomization of time, disruption of memory, and the end of man as a temporal being - Picard's key to the interpretation of 20th -century events - are interpreted in dialogue with Augustine, Friedrich Nietzsche, Hugo von Hofmannsthal,...
