Small hydro power plant design at the weir Český Mlýn on the river Jihlava (km 143,510)
Höll, Jan ; Kubeš, Milan (referee) ; Dráb, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a small hydroelectric power plant at the Czech Mill weir and consists of several parts. The first part processes and evaluates the flows. The next part selects appropriate technology, which is then processed. In the third part visualizations of the proposed study are created.
Costing in the the Condition of the Company
Kubeš, Michal ; Ing. Roman Hruška. (referee) ; Hanušová, Helena (advisor)
The master’s thesis is focused to analysis of current conditions of calculations and calculation system of company. The analysis are basis for finding and resolving of problematic sections. The introduction of theoretical basis of cost accounting and calculations is included to first part of the thesis. The second part analyzes of current situation of company and describes relevant processes. The wording of proposals and recommendations for problematic sections, which have been detected by analysis, are included to final part.
New form of participation in restoration of small and middle cities
Chladil, Jan ; Sklenář, Vavřín (referee) ; Mgr.František Kubeš (referee) ; Urbášková, Hana (referee) ; Havliš, Karel (advisor)
Main goal is analyse of contemporary status in restoration of Low Austria and South Moravia and eduction of results for steps which are leading to successful restoration in future. Confrontation of present method in restoration of country Low Austria and South Moravia and sighting of current trends in restoration on european level can show the way to project, when we want to pass on experience and to indicate the support of restoration and to participace with restoration abroad. Creating of vision is really good satisfaction of the work. Between limit South Moravia and Low Austria we can see historical parallel. I tis famous time of Austria – Hungarian monarchy, but also eco - devastation without plans and agro culture. Small and middle small cities of South Moravia begins in time after revolution with searching of new identity, with searching of new ways how to hold out market rivalry to another cities. Rightly effort to unfold and develop current system after the fashion of friends from Low Austria.
Assessing the Efficiency of a Shared Company Using Statistical Methods
Petrová, Veronika ; Kubeš, Michal (referee) ; Doubravský, Karel (advisor)
The master´s thesis deals with theassesment of financial performance of YXZ, a. s. using statistical methods. The theoretical part describes the issues necessary for the practical part, financial indicators, time series, regression and correlation analysis. The analytical part analyzes selected financial indicators, then statistical methods are used to predict future development for the coming two years and to detect dependencies between the indexes. The last part of the thesis contains suggestions for improving the company's existing financial efficiency based on the calculations from the practical part.
Význam rostlinných proteinů z podrodiny ABCB pro transport auxinu
Kubeš, Martin ; Zažímalová, Eva (advisor) ; Hejátko, Jan (referee) ; Reinöhl, Vilém (referee)
Polar auxin transport provides essential directional and positional information for many developmental processes in plants. At the cellular level, it is realized by both passive diffusion and the active transport through the membrane proteins - AUX1/LAXes, PINs and ABCBs. The aim of this thesis was to characterize the role of ABCB1, ABCB4 and ABCB19 proteins in polar auxin transport using transformed tobacco BY-2 cell lines. It was shown that the plasma membrane (PM) localization of the ABCB1, 4 and 19 is not polar. The ABCB4 was also more stable on PM after the treatment with auxin influx inhibitors; making use of ABCB4-cell line helped to uncover new characteristics of markers of endocytosis - the FM- dyes. The induction of ABCB19 has led to a decrease in 3 H-NAA accumulation with characteristic auxin starvation phenotype, similar to PIN7 overexpressing cell line, that could be rescued in case of PIN7 cell line by application of the auxin efflux inhibitor NPA; however, the accumulation of auxin in ABCB19-overexpressing cell line was less sensitive to NPA and the rescue of the auxin starvation phenotype was ineffective. Importantly, unique property of the ABCB4 was demonstrated: It displayed dual, auxin-concentration-dependent auxin transport activity in Arabidopsis roots, tobacco BY-2 and yeast cells. The...
The importance of plant proteins from ABCB subfamily in auxin transport
Kubeš, Martin
Polar auxin transport provides essential directional and positional information for many developmental processes in plants. At the cellular level, it is realized by both the passive diffusion and the active transport through the membrane proteins - AUX1/LAXes, PINs and ABCBs. The aim of this thesis was to characterize the role of ABCB1, ABCB4 and ABCB19 proteins in polar auxin transport using transformed tobacco BY-2 cell lines. It was shown that localization of the ABCB1, 4 and 19 is not polar on the plasma membrane (PM). The ABCB4 was also more stable on PM after the treatment with auxin influx inhibitors 1-NOA, 2-NOA and CHPAA; making use of ABCB4-cell line helped to uncover new characteristics of markers of endocytosis - the FM-dyes. The induction of ABCB19 has led to the decrease in 3H-NAA accumulation with characteristic cell phenotype (cells ceased to divide, started to elongate and there was formed an increased amount of starch granules), similar to the PIN7 overexpressing cell line. Thus, also the ABCB-based enhanced auxin efflux resulted in depletion of auxin from cells, and concomitantly changed their developmental program. The auxin starvation phenotype in the cell line with induced overexpression of PIN7 could be rescued by application of the auxin efflux inhibitor NPA; however, the...

Final Report of the Project „Data Acquisition from the Deep Horizons of the Rožná Mine“ presents the results of the study of rock mass properties with respect to the presence of a significant tectonic zone. The study focused on the change of properties in the vicinity of the so-called first zone of the Rožná deposit, but also on the change of these properties with a depth of 12–24. floor of the former mine, 550-1200 m below the surface. Realized works included geological, petrographic, geochemical description of the rock environment, geophysical work (esp. seismics), study of physico-mechanical properties of rocks, transport experiments and deposit revalidation of the Rožná deposit. All work was carried out for the purpose of describing the studied zone and its manifestation with an emphasis on ensuring the safety of the potential location of the deep geological repository.
