Optimized methodology of caliper positioning for ultrasound measurement of nuchal translucence

This thesis focuses on the research of methods for first trimester screening of congenital defects of the fetus. Ultrasound markers of aneuploidy, the algorithm of the first trimester screening and brief description of chromosomal aberrations diagnosable in the first trimester of pregnancy are described in the literature search. Nuchal translucency is the most important marker of aneuploidy in the first trimester and the work also deals with the measurement methodology currently used, which was created by the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF). The aim is to describe the limitations of the methodology and explain inaccuracies that arise due to FMF recommendations. The biggest drawback of the methodology is the influence of parameters set on ultrasound machines before and during the actual measurement, therefore it is necessary to come with new methodology not affected by them. The new methodology is based on the knowledge of the parameter influence and is independent of parameter settings of ultrasound machines. The final part of the thesis includes a study comparing the standard derivation of measurement results in both methods.

Methods for infrared thermography with detection of specific facial areas

This paper deals with non-contact measurement of temperature in human faces. Principle of measurement of infrared radiation and construction of the thermal imager is described in a literature search. The main part of the paper is design of an algorithm for automatic processing and the detection of regions of interest in thermal images. The theoretical description of used methods is also included in this paper. The aim is to design and implement a program for automatic evaluation of temperature changes in a human face in a sequence of thermal images that were taken with short time delay. As a part of thesis is description of implementation of designed algorithm in programming enviroment MATLAB and the description of the user interface. The program was tested on the experimental data samples. Obtained results and possible limitations are also discused in this paper.

Changes of Zahradní Město - Záběhlice in lifestories of its natives

The topic of this thesis is the way native inhabitants look at the changes of Zahradní Město and the old part of Záběhlice. It also describes its inhabitants' experience of these changes. The thesis employs the methodological approach of oral history, analyzing and interpreting interviews with people who were born or have spent the majority of their active life in that particular area. As a result, what comes to light is how much Zahradní Město and the old part of Záběhlice have changed over the last fifty years and, in a certain way, is changing still. It shows the evolution of a distant suburb as it came to be a part of the wider city centre of Prague, which faces typical urbanisation problems now. According to its inhabitants, Zahradní Město is best considered an independent part of Prague, even though it is officially "just" a part of Záběhlice. The mutual relationship of the inhabitants of Zahradní Město and the old part of Záběhlice is another topic of this thesis, as it tries to describe this relationship and find possible factors that have formed it. The thesis starts with an historical overview, following the way Prague was formed and divided regarding municipal administration. The aim of bachelor´s thesis is the education of employees in Continental Automotive Czech Republic s.r.o.. The objective of this proposal is to analyze education systém and to design system which would be meant to advance the quality of employees´ education in given company. In theoretical part we will look closer at the meaning of adults´ education. In analysis of the system, there is described chat system of education Continental Automotive Czech Republic s.r.o. uses. Using SWOT analysis, we define the strengths and weaknesses of the education system in the company. In-service education of teachers of economic subjects in secondary schools

The aim of this work is to analyze the current state of In-service education of teachers of economic subjects in secondary schools throughout the Czech Republic. The first part focuses on the theoretical knowledge in further education of teachers. The essence of the empirical part is the research project. Using the questionnaire survey I am trying to find out the current approach of teachers of economic subjects in secondary schools to further education. Based on this investigation (return of the questionnaire) I have managed to achieve 21% success rate. Based on the results of the investigation I have made suggestions and recommendations for pedagogical practice.

The aim of bachelor's thesis "System proposal of further education in business sector" is the education of employees in KBC Global NV Czech Branch. The objective of this proposal is to design system which would be meant to advance the quality of employees' education in given company. In theoretical part we will look closer at the meaning of adults' education. In analysis of the system, there is described chat system of education KBC Global NV Czech Branch uses. The main objective of quantitative research is to find out what is the level of employees' satisfaction with educational system in KBC Global NV Czech Branch, what forms of educational system in given company the employees are fully satisfied with or not and not least chat changes they would like to make, if any. The optimization proposal is focused on more efficient educational system which would advance the quality of education in KBC Global NV Branch and therefore to gain higher value of human capital.
