Finished small water course restoration assessment

This diploma thesis aimed to elaborate literary review which is focused on water revitalization management. An evaluation of negative character of inconvenient flow operations and their consequences on the basin. Revitalization benefits of watercourses and water niches, as well as solution potential of revitalization and natural benefits of revitalization. Last but not least, selected methods for the evaluation of revitalization. The second part is concentrated on a practical evaluation of completed small watercourse revitalization in accordance to HEM 2014 Hydro-ecological monitoring methods. Hydro-morphological sequence quality is calculated as an average score which is counted on the base of specific tables of score used for individual indicators and groups. The locality Borová steam, situated nearby Chvalšiny, Český Krumlov was chosen as an object of revitalization.

The main objective of the diploma thesis is The Media image of the World Cogress of Women in Pragie in 1981 in chosen contemporary press. Women from 133 countries went, in the period from 8 to 13 October 1981, to the Palace of Culture in Prague to discuss equality and peace, descended on the event hosted by the Women's International Democratic Federation. The World Cogress of Women was seen as one of the most important political events of the year 1981 by the Eastern bloc countries. Grasping the topic to handle an event about which no literature after 1989, which would address it, thes describe the media scene, analyze access to press coverage of the event and last but not least, to characterize the status and role of women in 1981, as presented by media. This thesis aids to bring this historical event from a historical perpective of selected dailies and magazine and bring in-depth study of the topic.

Possibilities of flood protection in small catchments

Target point of this thesis is explanation of main reasons about flooding threats of landscape. Evaluation of the negative features of inappropriate modifications of watercourses and implications of the catchment flows. The development of flood protection threat landscape in Czech Republic and in rest of the world. Also includes the evaluation of land consolidation in flood protection landscape. The object of the research is flood protection measure - berm ditch in the village Radčice u Vodňan, cadastral area of Vodňany. In territory of interest, several times in the year happened, that rainstorms flooded the adjacent territory including the private property of citizens.

Bachelor thesis deals with rabbit meat. Rabbits are bred worldwide for rabbit meat and rabbit skins. Nowadays prevail farm breeds of rabbits, especially broiler breeds where intensive breeding brojler rabbits lasts 70 to 85 days. When buying slaughter rabbits use the criteria as live weight from 2.5 to 3.6 kg, age 3 to 4 months and meaty part (full fleshy dorsal part). Rabbits are slaughtered at abattoirs rabbit and in some cases at poultry slaughter. Slaughter percentage of rabbit ranges from 50 to 65%, carcass weight is 1.0 to 1.8 kg. In the Czech Republic in 2012 produced 1 211 tons of rabbit meat, of which 90% went for export. Worldwide the year produced 1.8 million tons of rabbit meat. The main producer is China, followed by the European Union. Price of rabbit meat is comparable with meat veal. Rabbit meat is prized for high content of protein, unsaturated fatty acids and low cholesterol.
