Power Line Communication Simulator in Network Simulator-3

This thesis deals with the powerline communication focusing on the simulations of channel transfer functions. The introduction summarizes basic information about PLC followed by the analysis of the available PLC Software simulator (implemented in NS-3) and the analysis of implemented noises and interferences and its extensions. One chapter is devoted to possibilities of link capacity calculation. Within the thesis, various methods of calculation of primary parameters of transmission line were implemented and the simulator was compared with other freely available simulators. Subsequently, simulations were carried out focused on channel transfer functions in different topologies, on the impedance changes of branch, on the lengths of branch, and changes in the direct path between communicating nodes.

L-band receiver front-end

This Master's Thesis deals with a design of L-band receiver front-end. In the concrete the receiver is designed for receiving signals of frequency band 1,3 GHz. All particular blocks from low noise amplifier to intermediate frequency amplifier and frequency doubler in LO input are described, designed and simulated in program Ansoft. The part of this Master's Thesis is aimed to construct a working front-end receiver and to measure its basic parameters.

Partial reconfiguration methods based on programmable structures

This master's thesis dissertates of partial reconfiguration methods based on programmable structures. In theoretical part it deals with difference and modular-based method of Xilinx's FPGAs Partial reconfiguration. Options of both reconfiguration techniques were written for Spartan 3, Virtex II, Virtex 4 and Virtex 5 processors. Diference-based method was in practical part tested on Spartan 3E Starter Kit and modular-based on ML501 board. All configuration bitstreams are included on CD. Xilinx Inc. provided all needed software tools such as ISE9.2i and PlanAHEAD.

Analýza popisuje Informační systém IPPC, Informační systém BAT a Informační systém technické ochrany ŽP, které procesně zajišťují integrovanou prevenci a podporují účinnost státní správy při ochraně ŽP. Analýza popisuje funkce, systémy správy dat, prezentaci, schémata datových modelů a postup práce s jednotlivými informačními systémy. Uvedené systémy nesplňují požadavky, kvůli kterým byly vytvořeny.

The aim of this master thesis is an analysis of a motivation system in SMP CZ. The first part defines the way of a research and describes used methods. The second part focuses on theoretical knowledge, which is crucial for understanding of motivation. The biggest part is devoted to actual research of a job satisfaction of employees. In this context, possible solutions and perspectives for future development are suggested.

Financial instruments in accordance with IFRS

In the first part of this work I present knowledge about basic types of financial instruments and their links to international accounting standards IFRS. In the second part I describe in detail the use of financial derivatives in practice. Dividing them into four basic types, which are fixed financial futures: forwards, futures, swaps and optional financial futures: option. Methods of valuation and subsequent inclusion in the accounting standards according to their use in business, types of risks against which they can be used, hedged and speculative function.

The second chapter informs about franchising as a method of entering the market. It deals with advantages and disadvantages, the process of establishing a company and possible ways of financing. Theory and practice of a merger (selected issues)

The objective of the thesis is a merger in czech business environment. The first chapter focuses on the history of mergers and motives of mergers. The next part concentrates on the characteristics of the transformation of the companies. The thesis includes description of mergers according to the international accepted standards, mainly IFRS 3 (IAS 22). There is a description of mergers from the legal, accounting and tax point of view. After the theoretical part the thesis describes a real case of a merger of two companies combined with the transformation of legal form.
