Socially economic status of teachers in Czech republic

Thesis deals with the curent social-economic status of teachers in Czech Republic, is aimed primary at teachers of primary schools. First defined the koncept of teachers, followed by characterization of the teaching proffesion. Further work presents indicators needed to assess social-economic status of teachers. The work includes a survey among teachers elementary school teachers from Central Region and Prague. Goal is to determine how the company evaluates the current social- economic status of teachers in the Czech Republic, but also how it evaluates teachers themselves. Banks and their role in the economy of the Czech Republic

The subject of this diploma thesis is the characteristic of banks and its role in the economy of the Czech Republic, the introduction of core bank activities and products as well as analysis of significant bank products, such as building savings. The first part presents the functioning of bank system, the central bank and commercial banks. The second part deals with the principles of building savings, development and evaluation of the most important changes in building savings in the Czech Republic. In this thesis is also comparison of the building saving in Germany, Austria and the Slovak Republic, and there is outlined potential future development of building savings in the Czech Republic. The conclusion summarizes the most important findings about the role of banks with special focus on the analysis of building savings.

Freedom of speech in the Czech Republic This thesis deals with the freedom of speech in the Czech Republic especially with its limits and jurisprudence related to this key political right. It is composed of five chapters. The first chapter is The Introduction. It highlights the importance and necessity of the freedom of speech for an individual and the society. It also describes the main purpose of this work. The second chapter briefly summarizes the history and evolution of the freedom of speech in Bohemia particularly in the constitutional documents. The second chapter ends with adoption of the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms (No. 2/1993 Coll.) which set the current constitutional state of the freedom of speech. The third chapter is named "Specification of the Freedom of Speech". At first it explores the guaranteeing of the freedom of speech in the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms and then in international treaties mainly International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and European Convention on Human Rights. There are also mentioned some constitutional rights associated with the freedom of speech. The subchapter 3.4 explicates the definition of "speech" in the czech law. This thesis deals with the importance of taking care of the soul in the life of the contemporary man. At the beginning of the text are laid these source questions: What is the care for the soul about and what does it include? The paper is divided into three parts which deal with comparing the perception of the soul in the ancient times, in the modern era and Patočka's conception of history, questioning and life movements, leading the dialogue which aims to discovering its own origin. These requirements for pursuing the mental growth appear to be necessary . The care for the soul is inextricably linked with the phenomenon of freedom as the freedom to something. The fundamental human task is to nurture the soul. The precondition for upbringing and education is the care for the soul . v anglickém jazyce In my thesis on Totalitarianism (taught through fiction as a theme of social sciences education) procedures and methods are described, which can work with this theme in an interactive way. The first part is devoted to the theory that the teacher must be an expert in his or her field in order to teach the subject - the definition of the term, its main features, and the general characteristics of the different views of experts on this phenomenon. The second part is devoted to the six selected books which are briefly described and where I search for signs of totality - in my thesis I propose to use fiction and through it familiarize students with totalitarian regimes in world literature. In the third part of the thesis I present the procedures and methods of using the Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking. I consider this material to correspond to the intention of my work and to be very effective. The aim of my thesis is to provide teachers with material that meets the requirements of modern education, which thy can use during their preparation for teaching in their classes.
Care about soul as basis of selfeducation

The thesis deals with the interpretation of the 'soul care' theme supplemented by the considerations falling within the educational philosophy. The author of the thesis puts forvard three crucial questions as set in the introduction: What is the 'soul care' and what does it include? What would be the possibilities of getting back to this concept in the current times and would this be possible indeed? What role performs the school within the concept of 'soulcare' and what is the teacher's role? The thesis is divided in three parts denoting the comprehension of the concept of the soul in the Ancient times, in the New Age, within Patočka's concept of history and life movements and questioning, dialogue and discovering the sole origin as properties which are vitally important for the soul movement. The 'soul care' is also closely connected with the phenomenon of freedom as the freedom towards something which helps to found us and to form us. The necessity of the 'soul care' update has been gradually occuring and the primary role in such course of education belongs to school as the main contributory.
Proceedings for the dissolution of a political party - Czech and foreign

Thesis deals with the issue of dissolution of political parties. States should recognise that everyone has the right to associate freely in political parties. As a particularly far-reaching measure, enforced dissolution of political party may only be justified in the case of party that advocates the use of violence as a political means to overthrow the democratic constitutional order, thereby undermining the rights and freedoms guaranteed by the constitution. The dissolution of a political party is an exceptional measure in a democratic society and should be govern by the principle of proportionality. Apart from Czech legislation and recent judicial cases, this thesis is focused on Slovak and German experience with political party ban. Relevant decisions of European Court of Human Rights are introduced as well. In the first chapter the term "political party" is defined. Essential role of the political parties in parliamentary democracy as well as its extraordinary status among associations is emphasized. This part of thesis discusses situations when state can interfere with freedom of association or freedom of speech. Legally defined reasons for the dissolution of political parties are explained. TITLE: Savings accounts and their use in everyday life AUTHOR: Lenka Šrumová DEPARTMENT: Social Sciences and Philosophy Department SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Milena Tichá, CSc. Abstract This bachelor's thesis evaluates the currently most popular types of savings accounts and their characteristics of use in everyday life. The thesis is divided into two parts where the first part gives an account of various savings account types and elaborates on their pros and cons from the customer's perspective. A very important factor for the comparison of different types of savings accounts is the interconnection of the three vertices of an investment triangle representing risk, liquidity and profit. The second part of the thesis is more practical and presents two types of savings accounts offered by three different financial institutions which more or less vary. Financial Education and its Position in School Education

This Master's thesis deals with financial education and its place in school education. The thesis is separated into four main parts. The first chapter defines the concept of financial literacy, historical evolution of financial education in pedagogical reflection and factors affecting individuals in the process of financial education. The second chapter deals with the place of financial education in school education, which is an analysis of selected education policy documents of the Czech Republic and the activities of the actors involved in the development of financial literacy of the population of the Czech Republic. The theme of the third chapter is defining areas of financial education in school education in the private sector. The fourth chapter discusses the role of the teacher in the process of financial education and presents some recommendations.
