Algorithms and Methods for Fusion of Matrix Sensors Data during Mapping Inside Building
Klečka, Jan ; Hlaváč, Václav (referee) ; Železný, Miloš (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The dissertation is aimed at methods for simultaneous processing of various type sensor data into a virtual map. Conceptually the development was focused on algorithms for simultaneous localization and mapping. In theoretical part has the problem been addressed by the probabilistic approach. The practical part deals with a new approach called as partially collective mapping whose application leads to creation map in form of a set of simple geometrical entities which represents in piecewise manner a border between obstacles and free space.
LPR Recognition
Trkal, Ondřej ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The thesis deals with analysis and design of system for automatic localization and recognition of the license plate. The input images are from different sources, and contain large scenic and weather variations. The aim was to create a system able to find the licence plate on the image and recognize its alphanumeric figure. In this work, there is a focus on analysis and implementation of localization and optical character recognition methods. One own and four other localization methods are compared. There are also compared three classifiers for optical character recognition. Localization and OCR methods are tested on real data and evaluated in accordance with the calculated evaluation parameters. The work also contains sensitivity analysis of the proposed system.
Picture correction
Sedlo, Petr ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This work is focussed on different unwanted effects that damage a digitally acquired image. An image acquired using a digital camera can suffer from a series of defects. First, the noise is concerned. It occures due to discretisation. Next, there are the defects including vignetting, radial image distortion, chromatic aberration. In my thesis I also worked on backlight image compensation and panorama creation from an image sequence. For backlight images we need to increase the brightness in the dark parts of the image, so that the details became more visible. At panorama creation we are careful about brightness evenness in partial images, which is usually not conserved and consequently we try to find a suitable boundary-line to connect images and smooth it. The fundamental part of my work was writing the algorithms that are able to compensate these defects at least partly. For this aim I took use of the Matlab environment.
Automatic code processing for GNU/Linux cores
Doktor, Lukáš ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Honec, Jozef (advisor)
Solves an automatic getting of profilation informations of the GNU/Linux's kernel. Solution is based on an interconnection of existing project gcov-kernel, Red Hat Test System and optional test suit. Red Hat Test system helps with an installation and setting up an computer. Modificated kernel by gcov-kernel provides profillations data of the running system. After all job is done, those informations are proceed into human readable form.
Pedestrians Detection in Traffic Environment by Machine Learning
Basics of Pedestrians Detection in Image by Machine Learning
Embedded System with Communication Interface NFC and Wi-Fi
Bugár, Loránt ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with communication system design via the NFC and Wi-Fi interface. The thesis has two basic goals. The first goal is to create a device that is capable of storing of data and its subsequent transfer via the NFC interface. The second aim is to utilize this device for measuring various physical variables. The IoT technology is employed to fulfill the aforementioned goal. IoT technology is capable of visualizing data in real time and make them accessible via the Internet. The result of this work is an universal device, that contains the most popular communication interfaces, such as I2C, SPI and that is capable of processing measurement data from digital, analogue, and wireless sensors.
Unary Classification of Image Data
Beneš, Jiří ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The work deals with an introduction to classification algorithms. It then divides classifiers into unary, binary and multi-class and describes the different types of classifiers. The work compares individual classifiers and their areas of use. For unary classifiers, practical examples and a list of used architectures are given in the work. The work contains a chapter focused on the comparison of the effects of hyperparameters on the quality of unary classification for individual architectures. Part of the submission is a practical example of implementation of the unary classifier.
Test pattern generation
Hašek, Martin ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on application development for simulation lenses’ optical distortions and also for creation own patterns. In the first part are discussed common problems of optical distortion and concept of software analysis. Further is described realization and implementation of particular modules in the application. In the end is show up graphical user interface and its functionality.
