Strategic Analysis of KOH-I-NOOR GRAFIT, s.r.o.

The aim of this thesis is to elaborate a strategic analysis of the company KOH-I-NOOR Grafit, s.r.o., on this basis set vision and conceive a strategy suggestion. Principal methods of external analysis are PEST analysis and Porter's 5-forces model, in internal analysis are used analysis of internal sources and financial analysis. The next method is SWOT analysis, which sums up and interconnects the most important findings of previous analyses; on this ground is set a strategy of a chosen company and suggest a strategy.

The aim of the thesis is to estimate the market value of Mlékárna Hlinsko, s.r.o. as of 1. 1. 2009. At first, a strategic analysis of the company was performed resulting in the sales forecast, and a financial analysis assessing the financial condition of the company. Based on the results of strategic and financial analyses going-concern assumption was assumed to be justified. Then, an analysis and projection of value generators was carried out and a financial plan was created. Valuation itself was performed using the DCF Equity method and a market comparison approach, in particular the Guideline Public Company method.

The object of the diploma paper "The comparison of business valuation methods DCF and EVA" is to realize a theoretical confrontation of income approach methods of Discounted Cash Flow (including its all versions: entity, equity and APV) and Economic Value Added, and also to apply all of the methods to valuate a company and their consequent reconciliation. The study is focusing on cases when the methods should be equivalent and when they may differ.
An analysis of critical points in the strategy analysis and their effect on sales forecasting for business valuation

This diploma thesis focuses on strategic analysis of Škoda Auto, a. s. Its first part summarizes strategic analyses theory. The next part analyses factors of internal and external potential. The main emphasis is on a warning against possible difficulties and a recommendation for evaluation. It compares students' opinions with the opinions of company and group management and in appropriate cases the opinion of dealers. Their opinions are based on questionnaire survey. The end of the thesis deals with a strategic analysis of the effect on sales forecasting.

For this purpose, I made the strategic analysis, financial analysis and the financial plan for the period 2009-2019. The non-market value of equity of Philip Morris ČR Group at 1 January 2009 is 12 405 million CZK.
Business evaluation of the Severočeské doly enterprise

The main goal of the thesis is establishing market value of the company Severoceske doly as of 1.1.2009. In the introduction, there is a brief profile of the company along with some of the pecularities of entrepreneurship in mining. Third section of the thesis is focused on the strategic analysis. The outcome is revenue prognosis of the company in three variant scenarios. Subsequent section 4 is focused on the financial analysis, the result of which is assessment of the company`s financial health. Prediction of the value creators and set up of a financial plan is the task of the fifth section. The sixth section contains resulting assessment by means of the DCF Equity method. Value of the company is established as an interval range. Market comparison method has been used as an additional method of appraisal.
Financial analysis of the construction company as the subject of valuation

The subject matter of this bachelor work is a financial analysis of the construction company S.O.K. stavební s. r. o., worked out for the purpose of its later valuation. In advance of the financial analysis, I first focused on an analysis of the company's accounting policy, mainly with a view to the further interpretation of the results from the account sheets. Then I made an analysis of the account sheets. I choose the form of an account sheets overview in absolute expression, vertical and horizontal analyses of these sheets and their brief evaluation. In the next part I choose, from my standpoint, the relevant business ratios for this company and I perform their spatial and temporal analysis. Another part of this work is economic value added (EVA), which proves that the company is able to generate value. In conclusion I evaluated all parts and I found that the conditions for a "going concern" are fulfilled and in case we wish to value the company at this time , one of the discounted cash flow methods would be the best.
Business Valuation of BERNARD Family Brewery

The thesis consists of a business valuation of BERNARD Family Brewery, a brewery headquartered in the town of Humpolec and belonging to a group of several smaller breweries (related to its size). In 2001, top management decided to finance its company growth through venture capital. The main objective of this thesis is to indicate the market value as of 1/1/2009 by utilizing appraisement measures in accordance with International Valuation Standards (IVS). The business valuation is primarily determined using two well-known valuation approaches - adjusted present value method (based on income analysis) and comparable companies analysis (based on market analysis). In addition, the use of advanced statistics is applied when needed. The purpose of this assessment is to find an appropriate value for owners and other third-party stakeholders. In order to provide a full range of understanding, the paper consists of six main parts that involve a company profile, strategic analysis, financial analysis, value drivers, financial plan and a final valuation. Further, all these parts are split up into few sections.

The aim of the thesis is to find the estimation of the market price of Pražské vodovody a kanalizace, a.s. , engaded in water supply industry in the capital Prag, the Czech republic. The introductory provides basic information about company which is further followed by the description of water supply industry. Other chapters include the strategic analysis, the financial analysis and the financial plan. DCF Equity was applied as the main valuation method, the alternative one is the method of Market comparison.
