Analysis of Marketing Activities and Suggestion of a New Marketing Strategy of Sailtime Travel Agency

Tahle práce se zabývá sestavením návrhu marketingové strategie pro cestovní kancelář. Konkrétními doporučeními forem propagace se má stát marketingová strategie úspěšnější, má přinést majiteli firmy vyšší zisky a také získání nových zákazníků. Návrhy týkající se marketingové strategie vychází z dotazníkového šetření, následného vyhodnocení výsledků a nalezení nejvhodnějších návrhů umožňující zefektivnění marketingové komunikace a které mohou vést ke zvýšení počtu klientů společnosti.
Hospice Care in the Eyes of the Public

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of hospice care. Its goal is to compare the perception of hospice care of those people who had some personal experience with it and those who have not dealt with it. Another goal is to find out how this experience affects their perspective of dying. To achieve these goals the quantitative research strategy has been used. The method of data collecting has been realized via questionnaires. The researching cohort consisted of individuals whose relatives used the services of sv. Jan N. Neumann Hospice in Prachatice and also of the individuals who have not used such services. 89 respondents have participated on these questionnaires. The hypotheses were tested by the contingency table, chi-squared test and the T-test. The results of the research have shown that the experience with hospice care affects the potential selection of hospice care for the respondent himself or for his relatives. It also affects the appropriateness of hospice care for the last days of a dying person, and it projects into the appraisal of deceasing in hospice. The experience with hospice care also affects the arrangements for death - those with no experience are more likely unprepared. On the other hand, the experience with hospice care has not affect the appraisal of deceasing at home as a proper place for dying. It does not even have an impact on whether the respondents think or talk about their own mortality. The experience with hospice care also does not affect their opinion about the necessity of increasing the support and the public awareness about this type of care. It also does not affect the amount of fear or anxiety about respondent's death. With the issue of awareness about hospice care those respondents who had previous experiences with hospice care proved more knowledge. Nevertheless, it is still necessary to encourage the public awareness about hospice care.
Reception of the work of Gustav Vigeland in the context of Czech art at the turn of the 19th and 20th century.

The present Bachelor Thesis analyzes the Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland and his impact on Czech Art during the end of the 19th century and early 20th century. I draw parallelisms with Czech sculptors and, furthermore, discuss various factors that influenced the reception of this artist in our lands. One of them was the role played by the magazine Moderní Revue, in which the Polish writer Stanisław Przybyszewsky published an essay, Neznámy, that introduced Vigeland in the Czech lands. I compare such article with another essay about Edvard Munch authored as well by Przybyszewsky shortly after the first one, and go on to consider whether the formulations of both works might explain somehow the different receptions of these two Norwegian artists. Przybyszewsky had a capital significance for the introduction of Vigeland in other European countries; in particular, I outline the similarities between the case of the Czech lands and that of Poland at the turn of the century, where the impact of Vigeland was incontrovertible. The application of a credit valuation in the calculations of the technical reserves of an insurance company

In the present work I study the alternatives of assessment of insurance liabilities reřecting their own credit standing. I study especially how rating e®ects the calculation of a technical reserve of the life insurance company. The rst part of this study is more theoretical and shows the advantages and disadvantages of reřecting own credit standing of the liabilities in the assessment of the insurance liabilities. I explore varied opinions why should or should not be used current exit value for pricing of insurance liabilities. The second part of this document studies di®erent approaches to the recognition of insurance liabilities reřecting their own credit standing. The last one refers to the recognition of the technical reserves in the life insurance company.
