The possibility and popularity of eating meals in school canteen in Mladá Boleslav

The bachelor thesis deals with the popularity and possibility of eating meals in the school canteens at elementary schools in Mladá Boleslav district. Nowadays the composition of the menu in the school canteens is strictly under control depending on standards. In the theoretical part of my bachelor thesis I was dealing with a school canteen legislation, history of a school canteen, standards and the system of critical points. In another part I applied my mind to write about basic parts of food and components of the suitable menu for pupils at elementary schools. In the practical part I was finding out how satisfied pupils are in their school canteens, what suits them and what does not. One of the main goals was to find out if a higher percentage of pupils eats in the school canteens or not. I chose a questionnaire for the data discovery method. I distributed questionnaires in the fourth, fifth, eighth and ninth classes at each school. Their completions, according to the findings, were problem-free. Thanks to the questionnaires I came to the conclusion that pupils of the primary schools, who eat at the school canteens, are satisfied but sometimes they do not like the environment of the school canteens. Knowledge of the pupils of the selected secondary school about the issue of domestic violence

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of domestic violence. The introduction explains the choice of this topic and also the definition of domestic violence on the basis of a literature search as well as outlines the basic division of domestic violence and its history. This part is devoted to the analysis of the personality of the victim and the aggressor. Legislative framework of the Czech Republic which relates to issues of domestic violence is listed here and it also presents a list of selected organizations that are engaged in assistance to people endangered by domestic violence. The practical part presents the author's quantitative research carried out as an anonymous questionnaire addressed to selected pupils at selected secondary schools. At first the pupils filled in a pre-test, then attended a discussion about the issue of domestic violence and later filled out the same questionnaire again. This way the author found out the initial knowledge about the issue of domestic violence of the students as well as their knowledge after attending the discussion. The first part summarizes the theoretical knowledge necessary for understanding the next part of the thesis. The second part is devoted to the actual research and its results. The aim of the thesis is to introduce the reader to the current form of the teacher-parent relationship from the point of view of selected teachers through their individual experience. This is achieved through mixed methods research - surveys and semi-structured interviews with selected respondents. The results of this thesis allow the reader to be knowledgeable in the current form of functioning of the teacher-parent re- lationship at the secondary level of elementary schools in the Czech Republic. Second Grade Elementary School Students'Knowledge about Children Abuse

The thesis called Second Grade Elementary School Students' Knowledge about Children Abuse is divided into two parts. The theoretical part, which consists of one main chapter, deals with the forms of Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) syndrome, its manifestations and consequences. Each of the forms listed is supplemented by a typical behaviour of the children who have been victims of CAN. The thesis also summarizes the development of CAN syndrome term and possible causes of abuse. The thesis includes information on basic children rights and abuse prevention. The final part of the thesis emphasizes authorities responsible for safeguarding children. The practical part of the thesis contains research results. The objective of this part was to find out the depth of the lower secondary pupils' knowledge on physical and psychological abuse. The research suggests that the pupils were equally aware of physical and psychological abuse. The method used for the research was a questionnaire followed by data comparison. Furthermore, the research has observed that the pupils have personal experience with physical and psychological abuse and punishment. Awareness of pupils from selected high schools about issue of dying

The thesis deals with the subject of dying and death and focuses on secondary school students' awareness of this issue. The theoretical part of the thesis describes stages of dying, the needs of a dying person and their emotional state. Furthermore, it distinguishes between dying at home and dying in a health care institution. In the following chapters, the thesis focuses on palliative care, the process of grieving, funeral rites and the issue of euthanasia. The method of the theory was reading of literature that specializes in the issue. The practical part of the thesis compares data from questionnaires given to secondary school students on the topic of death and dying. The research shows that the students' awareness of the issue is considerably low - 84% respondents did not know what the term "palliative care" meant, 88% respondents did not know what the term "hospice" meant and 74% respondents were not familiar with the term "euthanasia". Education of selected children aged 8 to 15 years prior to elective surgery at the Department of Pediatric Surgery at the hospital Kolín

The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out whether selected children aged 8-15 years are sufficiently educated about the course of the planned surgery in the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Kolín Hospital. In the theoretical part, I have described possible ways of communication with children aged 8 to 15, play therapy and the possibilities of its use, and perioperative care for children in childhood surgery at the Kolín hospital. I used the method of structured interviews with selected children between the ages of 8 and 15 who were hospitalized in the department of pediatric surgery for the planned surgery from June to September 2017. The practical part describes interviews with selected children. I used the interview results to prepare educational materials for children agend 4 to 10 years.

Eva Nechlebová, Ph.D. ABSTRACT The bachelor thesis is about suitable motoric activities for pre - school children. The objektive of this thesis is the creation of a methodical handbook for suitable motoric activities for pre- school children. In the theoretic part the attention is paid to the human motor skills, basic motoric abilities, motoric training and the characteristic of the pre-school age. In the practical part there is a suggestion of a methodical handbook for suitable motoric activities for pre-school children. The first part of this work was studying of school educational programmes of selected nursery schools. The second part consisted in semi-structured interview survey aimed at physical education teachers of the first class at the elementary school and its following analysis. The results of the analysis were basic for the methodical handbook. The results showed that the majority of the first class children have not learnt some chosen motoric skills.
