Mainstreaming of the far-right politics in the attitude to migration, integration and Islam in the Netherlands
Drgáč, Zdeněk ; Váška, Jan (advisor) ; Emler, David (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the process of mainstreaming of far-right political ideas in the Netherlands, which can be observed in the country at least since the beginning of this century, in connection with the approach to the Muslim population and Islam as such. An analysis of the pre- election programs of six selected political parties from the right and left spectrum for the parliamentary elections in 2002 to 2021 examines how the phenomenon of growing popularity of the far right, defined in the Dutch environment by two parliamentary political bodies, the Freedom Party and the democracy, signed on program changes in the traditional democratic political current. At the same time, the thesis places the mainstreaming in the context of the crisis of multiculturalism as a social order that the Netherlands began to face after the assassination of Pim Fortuyn.

The outline thus constructed will then become the fulcrum for locating expert information from the periodicals of the time and refereeing whether they were reported truthfully and unbiasedly. The bachelor's thesis is supplemented by a discussion of Czechoslovak foreign policy towards Israel and Egypt at the time, based on the literature. The core of the thesis is the actual analysis of the overall argumentation and opinions in the texts of the time, which is...

Matoušek, Jan ; Filipová, Lucie (advisor) ; Emler, David (referee)
Bachelor thesis abstract This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of attitudes to the Nazi architectural heritage in Munich between 1945 and 2015. In Munich, which was described by Adolf Hitler as the Capital of the Movement and the Capital of German Art, Hitler built several representative buildings to serve Nazi propaganda and to demonstrate the magnitude of Hitler's regime in the Third Reich. This bachelor thesis examines specific examples of Munich's Nazi buildings - Königsplatz, Ehrentempel pantheons, Haus der (Deutschen) Kunst, Führerbau and Verwaltungsbau. After 1945, when Munich was occupied by the American army, it was necessary in the post-war denazification to take a stand on these Nazi buildings in the interest of the city's new democratic future. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to present the history of Munich's Nazi buildings and research post-war attitudes towards these specific Munich buildings burdened by the Nazi past in the so-called architectural denazification strategies since 1945, when World War II ended until April 2015, to the opening of the Munich Documentation Center for Nazism. Based on research into the history and post-war attitudes towards individual buildings, I came to the conclusion that all studied buildings in Munich had at least partial suppression of their Nazi...

However, the French multilateralism is specific in a way it opposes unilateralism and especially the "Americanisation" of the world politics - a phenomenon that is seen as a core of globalisation from the French point of view. This thesis focuses on the content analysis of Chirac's speeches concerning multilateralism between the years 1995-2007, and it aims to demonstrate that some of the geopolitical issues - particularly the Iraq War in 2003 - influenced Chirac's attitude and confirmed him in his multilateral agenda. This paper works with the methods of content analysis in order to compare individual speeches and to observe Chirac's developing stance. First chapter is dedicated to the historical and political context and to the role of the president in French politics. Second and the most important part then presents selected Chirac's presidential speeches in a chronological order and focuses on the content analysis of their transcripts. The primary objective is to find out how has Chirac's attitude towards multilateralism changed and how it was influenced by geopolitical issues, such as the Iraq War. Furthermore, this work also studies how has Chirac's multilateral...
