Health Social Worker in the Psychiatric Hospital
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Klára
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to map the specifics of social work of a health and social worker in a psychiatric hospital. The partial goals are to describe the role and activity health and social worker, how the health and social worker is involved in multidisciplinary care in the psychiatric hospital and what means of psychohygiene are used by the health and social worker in the psychiatric hospital. The method of interviewing by means of half-structured interview, as well as qualitative research strategy were chosen for the research. Data analysis was performed using open coding. The research group was selected by means of a subsequent selection and consisted of four health and social workers. From the research it can be concluded that the course of health and social work in psychiatric hospitals is relatively the same. The health and social worker is an integral part of a multidisciplinary team in a psychiatric hospital, where patients are provided with comprehensive health and social care. A health and social worker in a psychiatric hospital plays a number of roles and activities. We rank among the roles service provider and social adaptation trainer and we rank among the activities providing professional social counseling to the patient and his family, participation in visits and treatment programs and meetings, support in processing documents, in solving debt problems and in solving housing problems. The employment of a health and social worker is one of the helping professions where self-care and observance of the principles of psychohygiene are necessary. The most important means of psychohygiene is supervision, which is observed by the employer of psychiatric hospitals and health and social workers participate in it at regular intervals. The bachelor thesis can be used as feedback for the facility where the research will be carried out. The results of the work can be used by health and social workers in health care and students in the field of health and social care who are considering employment in a psychiatric hospital.
The width of potential window of boron doped diamond electrodes in dependence on their pretreatment and composition of the mixed electrolyte solution
Dvořáková, Klára ; Schwarzová, Karolina (advisor) ; Dejmková, Hana (referee)
The diploma thesis focuses on the range of the potential window of the BDD electrode in dependence on the composition of the mixed electrolyte solution and the treatment of the electrode surface. The measurements were performed on a polished (p-BDD) and O-terminated (O-BDD) electrode by the method of linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) in a three-electrode system. It was confirmed that in an environment with a suitable organic solvent, the range of the potential window widens. The measured solutions consisted of deionized water containing sodium perchlorate with a concentration of 1 mmol l−1 and one organic solvent in which sodium perchlorate with a concentration of 1 mmol l−1 was also dissolved. Acetonitrile, methanol, N,N-dimethylformamide and isopropanol were used in solutions (0 %, 1 %, 5 %, 10 %, 50 %, 70 %, 90 %, 95 %, 99 % or 100 % volume percent). Expansion, or the shortening of the potential window range was evaluated separately for each solvent in the anodic and cathodic regions. The expansion of the window on both sides was confirmed in acetonitrile as the concentration of the solvent increases, so it is based on this experiment as a universal solvent suitable for the determination of reducing and oxidizing analytes, from measurements on O-BDD and also on p-BDD. In the case of the remaining...
Fractal aspects of sorbitol flow.
Dvořáková, Klára ; Šklubalová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Vraníková, Barbora (referee)
The size and shape of bulk solid particles is an important factor which affects its flow and consolidation behaviour. In this thesis, the properties of sorbitol size fractions ranging from 80 to 500 µm were studied by using helium pycnometry, optical microscopy and changes in the volume of the powder bed during the initial phase of consolidation. A significant influence (p ≤ 0.01) of the sample drying on the density of solid sorbitol was detected. Porosity of sorbitol size fractions ranged from 56.6 to 62.3%; with the increasing in the particle size the porosity decreased. For the consolidation of the powder bed, the first 10 taps were critical when the volume decreased most dramatically. This is particularly evident for the size fraction of 100 µm and 158 µm.
Integration of foreign students into the group of local students
Dvořáková, Klára ; Řezáčová, Vendula (advisor) ; Pašková, Miroslava (referee)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is the problem of integration of foreign students amongst home students when studying in a foreign country. The main source besides the literature are data aquired by own reseach work. The research was based on semi-structured interviews with groups of foreign students studying in France (Lyon) and Czech Republic (Prague). In addition the author draws from her own experience gained when studying in France in Erasmus program and during her work for International Club of the Charles University. In the theoretical part the work deals with communication as the basic requirement for successful integration. It examines what influences communication between foreign and home students and from this point of view specific cases are considered. The work describes what posibilities of international studies are offered to the students and gives the list of programs that are offered. The analytical part compares the degree of integration of students amongst home students in both of the mentioned countries. It examines the progress of integration, how integration is percieved by the students themselves, whether integration is considered important by the students and how difficult they consider intergration. The work further depicts the problems which complicate integration and...
Options of electrical stimulation of paretic muscles in patients withh spinal cord injury
Dvořáková, Klára ; Schreier, Bronislav (advisor) ; Špaňhelová, Šárka (referee)
Electrostimulation of neuro-muscular tissue is one of the elementary treating methods in physiotherapy. One of the areas of its use is rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injury. As there doesnt exist enough resources written in czech language, I settled down to the goal of present the overview and options of its use in those patients. As completing this text, I came out of my knowledges drawn through the studies on 2nd Faculty of Medicine Charles University, specialized publications available in czech language and not least from specialized articles, case studies and literature of worldwide authors, because those are majority of informations aviable about this problematics. This work stays from parts about spinal cord with its injuries and elecrtostimulation and its practical use. Big portion of the work deals with usage of electrostimulation to improve the quality of life of spinal patients. Especially in prevention of pressure ulcers, respiratory diseases and osteoporosis. Last chapters are specially devouted to functional electrostimulation of upper and lower limb.

It used to be a village, we knew each other: qualitative research on changes in the Lesser Town from the perspective of residents
Dvořáková, Klára ; Grygar, Jakub (advisor) ; Kandert, Josef (referee)
This diploma thesis is about residents who live in the Lesser Town, the historic center of Prague. It focuses on the changes perceived by residents that took place during their lifetime. Work is based on literature and qualitative research in the form of biographical interviews. The theoretical part deals with the concepts of identity, tourism, gentrification, genius loci and ageing which are essential for understanding the changes identified in the analytical part. The analytical part is divided into seven units: changes of the atmosphere of the Lesser Town, its inhabitants, living environment, housing stock, changes of people who have shared their stories with me and more global changes that had influenced the Lesser Town. The work also describes which problems and benefits related to life in the Lesser Town do communication partners perceive.
Compliments in informal private discourse
Dvořáková, Klára ; Filippová, Eva (advisor) ; Saicová Římalová, Lucie (referee)
1 Abstract The aim of this thesis is to analyze communication functions, verbal and nonverbal means of compliments in Czech which occur in private informal discourse. Material for this analysis was collected from audiovisual and audio recordings of communication between family members and friends. As for the identification of the communication functions of compliments the method of conversation analysis was chosen. Functional classification was created based on the location of compliments in global organization of conversation, linguistic form of compliments and actions that compliments are performing or accompanying. Another part of this thesis is devoted to the analysis of verbal and nonverbal means used at complimenting. The structures, lexical units and the most significant nonverbal means used in the production of compliments were identified. For the purpose of comprehensive description of compliment sequences we also analyze reactions to compliments.
