Design of a kieselguhr filter body with vertical filter elements
Daněk, Jiří ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
The main goal of this diploma thesis is to design a filter body FKS 600 with vertical filter elements for beer filtration. The first part of the thesis deals with the current state of the market, evaluates the various types of filtration and their manufacturers, including its development and historical perspective. The following part uses the system approach for filter body design. The practical part of this diploma thesis is devoted to the design of the filter body FKS 600, this design is based on calculations of the pressure vessel. Assembly drawings and selected production drawings are processed for the filter body, which are annotated. The last part presents block diagrams and cost estimates for the production of prototypes or series, everything ends with a conclusion and summary for practice.

Goals: The goal of the dissertation is review and comment on the popularity of sport followed by the comparison between preferences ofmen and women. Method: I used in the dissertation methods of electronic poll usmg a questionnaire and furthermore, I utilized tables and graphs for the interpretation ofthe result. Results: The research revealed, that the popularity of sport in the Czech Republic is on very high level and also the expected trends are positive and no decrease is expected in this respect. Men tend to be more active than women and the range of different types of performed and viewed sports is wide. Keywords: Popularity of sport, marketing research, ratings, methods, reviewee. 5
Negative language transfer students for English-speaking Czech as a foreign language. Applied contrastive linguistic study on the material selected Czech and English verbs with the meaning of interpersonal communication
V porovnáni s převzatou analýzou anglických lexémů speak, talk, say a tell stanovuje shody a rozdily obrazu jazykového jednáni v češtině a v angličtině a predikuje oblasti negativního jazykového transferu u anglicky mluvicich studentů češtiny jako ciziho jazyka. Tuto predikci následně ověřuje pomoci výzkumné sondy. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Czech language competence among foreign pupils in Czech schools (focus on reading comprehension)
Brumlichová, Zuzana ; Hájková, Eva (advisor) ; Daněk, Jan (referee)
The present thesis discusses certain aspects of Czech as a foreign or second language. The theoretical section includes a definition of the term foreign pupil in the context of Czech education, an overview of the legislative framework of foreign pupils' education and a discussion of language education on the international level with a focus on Czech as a foreign language. Last but not least, the significance of reading literacy is assessed with regard to its use in language education. The thesis aims to establish the level of reading comprehension skills in foreign pupils of primary schools who are in their second stage of basic education. The assessment was carried out by means of a didactic test closely based on the language competence criteria as set out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The results of the research were analysed according to several criteria influencing the foreign pupil's involvement in Czech language classes, and subsequently compared to the results achieved by pupils who are native speakers of Czech.
Parethesis in current czech publistic texts
Stoklasová, Petra ; Janovec, Ladislav (advisor) ; Daněk, Jan (referee)
This works shows, vvhich character interjection (parethensys) has in nowadays czech publicistic texts. Its an analysis of chosen periodics, which is made based on informations and llndings from studied literature. Found interjections are characterized and sorted in to groups, according to various aspects ( according to contentual connectivity, according to type of connection, according to contentual content and graphic selection). Then it tries to find out, which type or types are most frequent. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Properties of near-horizon geometry of spacetimes
Daněk, Jiří ; Žofka, Martin (advisor) ; Svítek, Otakar (referee)
Nowadays, the near-horizon regions of black holes have enjoyed great attention thanks to their role in the popular AdS/CFT correspondence and their specific geometry suitable for formulations of uniqueness theorems in higher dimensions. A strictly general-relativistic point of view reveals also many interesting phenomena taking place near black-hole horizons. Our aim was to investigate how horizon multiplicity affects near-horizon geometry, geodesical distance, radial motion of photons and massive, charged particles, and also the possibility of collision processes leading to unbound collision energies near the horizon. We chose the Reissner-Nordström-de Sitter metric, which, on the one hand, is simple thanks to being static and spherically symmetric but which, on the other hand, is rich enough to enable the existence of up to a doubly degenerate ultra-extreme horizon. After discussing the physical feasibility of the near-horizon limit, we applied it to single, double, and triple horizons, their near-horizon geometries, and local collision processes. We found continuous coordinate systems covering all types of horizons and analytic solutions for motion of radial photons and special or critical, massive, charged particles in their vicinity. We addressed particle collisions in the immediate vicinity of horizons...
Assesing the complience of nature conservation in the Czech republic with international strategic objectives
Daněk, Jan ; Vačkářová, Davina Elena (advisor) ; Kružíková, Eva (referee)
The subject of the master thesis is the assessment of the compliance of nature conservation in the Czech Republic with international strategic objectives, analysing the mainstreaming of biodiversity across government and society and analysing the fulfilment of the commitments rising for the Czech Republic as a member of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). The thesis is focused on an assessment of strategic goal A of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020 and its 4 Aichi targets related to the mainstreaming of biodiversity and ecosystem services in society and policy. The methodology used is a systematic search of available relevant documents and other related sources, especially the national reports from the Ministry of the Environment to the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity and other associated analysis and reports. Another aim of the thesis is summarizing the current state of the mainstreaming of biodiversity to governance and decision making and identifying the areas which are not included in the national strategic documents or are not included sufficiently. In addition to the theoretical analysis, the thesis suggests specific actions and indicators for reaching the targets included in the international strategic documents, particularly the Strategic plan of...
