Nováková, Eva ; Daďová, Klára (advisor) ; Půlpán, David (referee)
Title: Analysis of the current offer of leisure activities with focus on physical activity for primary school pupils with special needs in Prague Objectives: The main objective of this work is to analyze the services offered in the field of leisure activities with focus on sports and physical activity (PA) for primary school pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in Prague. Methods: We use two sources of data in our qualitative research. The first source is data obtained from the analysis of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports specifically for this research. The second source of data is a modified survey questionnaire created by Linhartova (2018). The questionnaire responses were obtained from 49 respondents, who were managers of centers and instructors of PA who provide leisure PA in Prague. Results: The research discovered insufficient support for PA among Prague primary school pupils with SEN in their free time. It turned out that on the one hand the offer of provided PA is not adapted to children with SEN and in the same way the offered activities are used by these children only to a very small extent, where it is more about individuals. The study also points to a set of barriers limiting the implementation of these PA. We identified obstacles in the area of insufficient...

Title: Quality of life in adult users of cochlear implant before and after the implantation Objectives: The aim of the study was to determine the degree of life satisfaction with a cochlear implant (CI) in postlingually deaf people, who lost their hearing after acquiring speech skills - i.e. after the 7th year of life. Methods: The research was realized by its own anonymous semi-structured survey, which contained 31 questions in total. Then was the survey was provided through a website and sent out using e-mail addresses, with a total of 29 adult respondents completing it. Results: The predominant majority (52 %) of respondents agreed, that CI provided them with the same or better benefit, than they themselves expected. At the same time, they assessed the hearing and understanding in each area with a score of 2 - so that, there was improvement in all areas. The predominant majority of respondents did not need more time to think about implantation and also get together good or rather good feelings from hearing at the first setup. Regular sports respondents stated that they had performed the same sport before implantation. With regard to the epidemiological situation, an overwhelming majority (93 %) respondents stated, that get together a decrease of understanding by others people, who are using a...

Kyndlová, Tereza ; Daďová, Klára (advisor) ; Majorová, Simona (referee)
Title: Inclusion of a pupil with cystic fibrosis in physical education Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to point out through case studies the possibilities of inclusion of a pupil with cystic fibrosis in physical education and to investigate the influence of physical applied activities on pupil's physical abilities. Part of the research was also working with a girl in physical education classes. Methods: Due to the uniqueness of the disease, was chosen for this thesis the method of a case study of schoolgirl aged 12 with CF. Methods of data collection included interviews with pupil's mother, teacher and teaching assistant, questionnaires, observations and MABC-2 test set. Results: We found out, that the inclusion of a pupil with CF is possible, but it is necessary to have prepared alternative methods and modification of physical activities in order not to damage the health of the individual. The individual approach to the student in class also proved to be effective. The research shows that physical activities as a part of physical education have a positive effect on some motor skills of a pupil with CF. Keywords: integration, cystic fibrosis, joint education, primary school, physical activities

Chalupová, Zuzana ; Daďová, Klára (advisor) ; Pánek, David (referee)
Title: Evaluation of the spasticity level in wheelchair bound individuals, observing movement in a virtual reality environment Objective: Investigate whether people watching movement in virtual reality, experience changes in the level of spasticity due to intervention of the therapeutic programme. Methods: A pilot study was orchestrated with probands diagnosed with spastic paraplegia due to an incomplete spinal cord lesion. Seven probands have partaken in the study (5 men and 2 women) aged 49 ± 8 years. All probands were clients of Centrum Paraple, where they have been undergoing a regular rehabilitation programme. In addition to their regular programme they have undergone a virtual reality therapeutic programme, where each intervention consisted of 10 minutes spent in a therapeutic virtual environment. 3 probands resigned after the first intervention. Interventions were organized into 5 consecutive days. The levels of spasticity were evaluated by a modified Tardieu scale on plantar flexors of both ankles and knee joints of both lower limbs. Furthermore, a modified, subjective spasticity scale was created in order to observe individual, subjective inputs of each proband. Using this scale, probands evaluated their feelings towards individual spasticity changes on a scale 1-10 (0 = no spasticity, 10...
