Dvořáková, Marie ; Dudová, Agnieszka (advisor) ; Pánek, David (referee)
Title: Objectification of surgical treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome Objectives: The main aim of this work is to evaluate the effectiveness of surgical treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome. Methods: In this work was used a two-point discrimination test, that evaluated tactile sensory of the hand with carpal tunnel syndrome. It evaluated the change of discriminatory sensation after surgical treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome. The results of testing were evaluated by using the SigmaPlot statistic program SigmaStat 9.01 to 3.1 integration. Results: Research found that two-point discrimination in region of median nerve innervated is improved by surgical treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome, it improves the tactile sensory of the hand, which is impaired by carpal tunnel syndrome. Effect of physiotherapy on improvement of the discriminatory sensation after surgery was not demonstrated. However, the physiotherapy after surgical treatment of carpal tunnel syndrom is important. Keywords: carpal tunnel syndrome, sensory discrimination, a two-point discrimination test

The notification of lack of conformity and consumer remedies in contracts for the sales of goods Abstract This thesis analyses the notification of lack of conformity and consumer remedies in contracts for the sales of goods. This thesis aims to analyse the provisions of Act. No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, and Act. No. 634/1992 Coll., Consumer Protection Act, including recent amendments by Act. Furthermore, the notification of lack of conformity is described according to sections 1922 and 2165 of Civil Code. The recent amendments regarding the liability of the seller for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery are also described. Využití mobilní aplikace AWIN Horse ve vybraném chovu koní
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Marie - Anna
Nowadays, majority of horse owners or breeders are becoming more familiar with the topic of animal welfare and as a result they are willing to provide their horses with the best possible living conditions. This trend goes in hand with necessary changes in the stable technologies, which are trying to get as close as possible to the natural lifestyle of horses. These changes need to take into account not only good nutrition of each animal but also appropriate health condition. Taking into consideration all above mentioned factors, so called active stables are coming to the foreground which meet all the criteria of horse welfare. This system of stabling horses is so unique, because it enables to keep the horses outside during the whole year, together with creating various groups of horses. The whole system is managed by the software and chips, which are placed directly onto the horses. The software and chips communicate with the feeding machines which helps to systematize the day program of each animal. The main aim of this bachelor thesis was to evaluate the level welfare of horses kept in this type of stabling. AWIN welfare assessment protocol for horses was used for the process of evaluation with data entered via the AWINHorse mobile application. In order to provide a good long-term observation, three individual evaluations were performed every six moths. This enabled to determine the factors, which influence the welfare not only of each individual horse, but also of the group itself. This group consisted of individuals aged between 5 to 26 years of age. After evaluating all observations, it has become obvious, that the most challenging criterion is providing the suitable nutrition, mainly for horses prone to obesity, concretely 39 % of horses were described as BCS 4 and 11 % as BCS 5. There has also been monitored slightly higher level of injuries within the herd. Average number of injuries were 8,18 in Assessment I, 1 in Assessment II and 2,46 in Assessment III. The most frequent type of integument alterations was alopecia (73 %), and the most vulnerable parts were hindquarters (27 %), midsection (19 %) and head (15 %). Nasal and ocular discharges were also frequent - only 24 % of horses did not show symptoms of these conditions. On the other hand, a lot of the welfare indicators like swollen joints (11 %), ab-normal breathing (13 %) and coughing (6 %) were observed sporadically. None of the monitored horses were evaluated with poor hair coat condition, signs of hoof neglect, lameness, lesions at mouth corners and prolapse. Thanks to technology a lot of the welfare criteria were accomplished, such as absence of prolonged thirst, comfort around resting and ease of movement. Social interaction was enabled at the highest possible level which had an impact to a occasional presence of agonistic behaviour 13 %. No stereotypies were observed. Majority of horses (96 %) also showed requested reactions in human-animal relationship tests. Factors, which influence the level of welfare were determined as season of the year and integration of new horses into the existing herd. The evaluation is has been evaluated as very beneficial for the breeders as there have been monitored problems, which can be avoided in the future. There have also been suggested ways of correction. The potential of the active stable system has been mainly proven. However, more observations need to be performed in the future in order to provide overall results.
The Concept of Mindfulness in a Kindergarten
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Marie
The bachelor thesis focuses on an issue of mindfulness in kindergarten environment. The theoretical part is devoted to a concise definition of a concept of mindfulness and its continuity (attention, emotions regulation, approaches and disruptive factors). Furthermore, the chapter contains an extensive part focused on children´s mindfulness and its development. The practical part contains an action research implemented depending on a prepared thematic unit that is devoted to children´s mindfulness development, specifically from the inner to outer one. It contains a record of the thematic unit results and a part with children´s reaction repeating exercises. Furthermore, it is devoted to answering research questions and observations or comments for the thematic unit usage. The supplement contains some photos from the thematic unit implementation.
MRP transporters in the placenta
Dvořáková, Marie ; Čečková, Martina (advisor) ; Pávek, Petr (referee)
The MRP mebrane proteins, which belong to the ABC transporter family, comprise currently 9 members. The MRP transport proteins are expressed in various tissues of the organism, including placenta. The major physiological role of the multidrug transporters is the transport of many endogenous and exogenous compounds, including drugs, across the cell membrane. This thesis summarizes up to date information concerning expression and function MRP transporters in placenta a and in other tisssues in organism. Only five MRP transporters have been detected in placenta, namely MRP1, MRP2, MRP3, MRP5 a MRP8. Expression of all this proteins in placenta changes with progress of the pregnancy. MRP transporters help to protect fetus from potentially toxic substances, on the other hand some of them can facilitate the passage of substances across placenta. Some MRPs possess specific physiological functions in placenta. For example, MRP1 influences apoptosis, MRP5 participates in NO-dependent vasodilatation in fetal vessels.

Quantification of macronutrients in human milk after premature birth depending on the gestational and postnatal age of infant
Burianová, Iva ; Bronský, Jiří (advisor) ; Kokštein, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dvořáková, Hana Marie (referee)
(jednostránkový souhrn) v angličtině Growth restriction of premature newborns is a serious complication for the further development of the infant. It is not yet definitely clear to which extent it is associated with the low content of certain macronutrients of human milk. Maternal characteristics may be connected with human milk macronutrients, but no definite conclusions have been made to date. This study aimed to evaluate the content of macronutrients in human milk samples after preterm delivery during the first 9 weeks of lactation and determine the relationship of maternal-associated factors on the content of macronutrients in human milk after preterm delivery. Milk samples were collected from mothers after premature birth between 24+0-35+6 weeks. Macronutrients and energy content were analyzed by mid-infrared transmission spectroscopy. A total 1917 human milk samples from were analyzed. Median of protein content decreased from 1.6 g/dL in group A and 1.5 g/dL in group B in the first week of life, to 1.1 g/dL in both groups at the end of week 3, and then remained stable up to week 9. Content of carbohydrates and fat was stable during the whole observation, with interindividual differences. Similarly to colostrum, higher protein content and lower carbohydrates content were observed in...
