TEACHING OF BACKSTROKE SWIMMING YOUNGER SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to create a digital video recording of a contemporary teaching method of backstroke swimming technique with younger school age children. A group who are from 6 to 9 years old participate in the research work. Methods: In this thesis we have in the first and second phase focused on collection datas from the literature and its other processing into a methodical series of exercises. In the third stage we used the Scenarios for video processing. Results: Findings of the thesis indicate a possible procedure for teaching backstroke swimming style with younger school age children. Importance of swimming lessons for children to the first primary chools

This thesis focusis on the Importance of Swimming Lessons for Children in the 1st degree school . It focuses not only important in terms of health, where there is a child's development or removal of various imbalance, but also in terms of socialization and educational. In detail, the theses focuses on students who already have the basics of swimming styles and those who are yet to recieve in the form of swimming training, and using a questionnaire. Finally, the subject thesis as well as prevention, which is based on the recommendations of parents, both teachers from the swimming school and elementary school teachers. Theoretical knowledge of swimming instruction, design questionnaires, methods of evaluation results a recommendations for prevention are applied to the parents, made a survey and retrospective reflection on the parents.
Changes of rules in swimming due to a technique development

The purpose of the graduation theses is to obtain an entire accessible material regarding a development of a technical performance of swimming manners, kickoffs and rounds since 1959 till present. The thesis focuses on official rules, especially during these years, and the work compares all gained materials and records ways and reasons leading to changes in the technique of each swimming manner and shows how this development influenced changes in the rules. There is DVD record enclosed at the thesis showing a reconstruction of a development of the technical performance of all swimming manners, kickoffs and rounds.

The dissertation Softball at Junior Years of Primary School focuses on Softball classes as a part of Physical Education at primary schools. The practical part consists of the research and its results. The children's and teachers' knowledge of this sport was surveyed by questionnaires. Furthermore, it describes a Softball teaching method which was verified with the fifth grade pupils. The theoretical part includes the basic information about softball, its rules and required skills as well as necessary training exercises.

V mé diplomové práci se chci zabývat problémem stále se snižující se tělesné zdatnosti obyvatelstva, respektive studentů Pedagogické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy v Praze. Pomoci mi může výzkum provedený na studentech Pedagogické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy v Praze roku 2000, který právě tělesnou zdatnost monitoroval, předmětem zkoumání bude také skuteěnost, zda-li lze na tento výzkum navázat. Naskýtá se také otázka jestli budou výsledky studentů horší ve srovnání s výzkumem z roku 2000. Dalším problémem, který chci zkoumat je zájem studentů o stav své tělesné zdatnosti. Posledním problémem práce je zda budou mít studenti Pedagogické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy v Praze zájem o nový předmět, který by se zabýval tělesnou zdatností.
