Zámostná, Tereza ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Hellebrandová, Lenka (referee)
Title: Effect of sports aerobics competitors to posture for the age categories seniors Objectives: To determine the diagnosis and assess the impact aerobic sports on posture in older age groups in different conditions. Get information on the use of assistive exercise in training units from club coach and selected individuals. Compare the results of diagnostic posture with information regarding use of the compensation exercise. Recommend solutions to the problem in case of deviations from the correct posture. Methods: The work was acquired data with literature study, test methods, questionnaire, observation and interview methods. Questionnaire to help choose the method tested by the diversity of individual responses. Thanks literature tests were designed to evaluate the posture of selected individuals. Method interview with the coach and selected individuals helped to specify the questions on the use of assistive exercise in training units. Results: Allowed me to see that by tested sports aerobics competitors there are different variations of unilateral posture due to overloading and inadequate compensation. Keywords: sport aerobics, musculoskeletal diagnosis, proper posture.
Innovativ ways to affect overweight and obesity (use of the machine Body - Space VacuTherm)
Šindlerová, Hana ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Kovářová, Lenka (referee)
Title: Innovativ ways to affect overweight and obesity (use of the machine Body - Space VacuTherm). Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to evaluate if walking on Vacutherme encourages and accelerate body fat loss and figure forming as advertisements claim. Based on my own measurements of the clients of our clinic MS Clinic in Slaný I will examine body weight loss, particularly body fat loss, decrease of centimeters of those areas that are exposed to vacuum and change in body composition. I compare the results of clients enrolled in group used to weight reduction only VacuTherm lesson in the machine, with clients of the second group, which combine lessons in the machine with another physical activity attending at least 2 times a week for longer period of time. Methods: To get results important for bachelor thesis I chose only measurement method. For data processing, this method is most accurate. I used two forms of measurement. With one presentation helped me body analyzer Tanita BC-1000, which provided me with information that can not be measured by conventional methods. The second option is a common way of measuring the circumference of lots tracked to within one centimeter. At work I examine a group of 20 women who underwent diagnostic input on physical analyzer, where they were measured value...
Body composition and methods for its determination
Mucha, Slavomír ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Libá, Martina (referee)
Title: Body composition and methods for its determination Objectives: Perform a literature search and then describe the human body composition and compare different methods to determine body composition in humans. Methods: Review and comparison of domestic and foreign literature that deals with body composition and its measurements. Results: Research summarized the literature on the topic of physical body composition and methods for its determination. Another result is a summarization of indirect methods, describe their advantages and disadvantages, practical use and calculation examples of predictive equations for specific methods. Indirect methods of determining body composition may be once or twice indirect. Among once belong mainly indirect laboratory methods such as DEXA, APD, NIR or nuclear magnetic resonance. The gold standard of laboratory methods are considered DEXA method. These methods are indirect in comparison with twice more accurate but more time-consuming and equipment. The two indirect methods belong field methods such as BIA, BMI, skinfold thickness measurements with calipers or hydrostatic weighing method. These methods are indeed more practical and affordable measured but with less precision. For the most used and practical field method is considered BIA. All indirect methods...
The Effect of Facilitating Kinesio Taping of lower scapula fixators on pain threshold of trigger points in the m. trapezius pars descendens
Bahenská, Eva ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
Name: The Effect of Facilitating Kinesio Taping of lower scapula fixators on pain threshold of trigger points in the m. trapezius pars descendens Objectives: This study is a pilot study. The goal of this study is to determine effects of Facilitating Kinesio Taping of lower scapula fixators on painfulness of trigger points in the m. trapezius pars descendens. Methods: The study took place in a private medical office with thirteen patients. All of these patients were physically examined using standard tests of physiotherapy. Patients were measured using a pressure algometer to assess trigger points as painful. They reported the intensity of pain on VAS. The places of measurement were trigger points one and two in the muscle according Travell and Simons. Data were analyzed using the statistical program SPSS 15.0 and Microsoft Office Excel. Results: This study had three hypotheses. In the case of the first hypothesis, I concluded that KT has an effect on the pain threshold and its application will reduce the pain threshold in m.trapezius pars descendens. Statistical significance was the value of p = 0.03 and p = 0.011, the value of material significance (101.31 kPa and 106.7 kPa) confirmed my theory that after KT will increase the pressure of 100 kPa in the TrP1 and TrP2. In the second hypothesis, it...

Methods: The thesis was worked out on the base of questionnaires , that were prepared with regard to the author personal experience and knowledge. The questionnaires were handed in personaly to the respondents at runners competition, as soon as the race was finished and most of the runners used to wait for their results.
