Discursive Transformation during the Czech Catholic Exile in Italy 1962-1969
Blažek, Ondřej ; Šebek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Šmíd, Marek (referee) ; Jonová, Jitka (referee)
This thesis deals with events during the Czech Catholic exile in Italy with a focus on the 1960's. It provides a closer look at the institutional and discursive changes that took place at the time of the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) and the subsequent stay of Cardinal Josef Beran in Rome (1965-1969). The work focuses mainly on the development of the publishing house Christian Academy, the Velehrad Center and the Nepomucenum Papal College where the leading figures of Czech Catholic exile, mostly priests, worked. By using the method of historical discourse analysis the work studies how the pro-conciliary orientation which defined itself in opposition towards conservative tendency in the Church became increasingly predominant in the exile environment. Last but not least, the work also shows how the form of Catholic exile discourse in Italy was influenced by the changing relationship between papal diplomacy and Communist Czechoslovakia.
Security Cooperation between the European Union and the Non-EU NATO Countries
Blažek, Ondřej ; Weiss, Tomáš (advisor) ; Rossmanithová, Markéta (referee)
The bachelor thesis is dealing with the issue of cooperation between the European Union and the non-EU NATO members. The comparison was chosen as a method of the research. The thesis compares reasons, which make the Turkey and Norway's basis for taking part in the EU missions or in the European Defence Agency. These two states were chosen because they are comprehensively different and at the same time fulfil the conditions of being the non-EU NATO members. The cooperation and the reasons are mentioned in examples of the European Defence Agency and three missions - EUFOR Althea in Bosnia and Herzegovina, EUFOR RD Congo and EU NAVFOR Somalia in Somali waters. The last chapter is the comparison, which compares the reasons and draws the conclusion that the reasons come primarily from the both states' different foreign policies. The Turkish foreign policy leading to higher participation follows its geopolitical interests and Norway's foreign policy comes from its peace initiative.
Employment Relationship in Terms of the Optimization of Costs
Blažek, Ondřej ; MBA, Radek Jurečka, (referee) ; Musilová, Helena (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on the creation and termination of employment and agreements on work performed outside of employment, according to the legislation of the Czech republic. Assesses the current situation in the company named Cirex s.r.o and suggests procedures to achieve financial savings. It deals with the outsourcing and agency's work in the infrastructure of this firm and streamlining the procedure before the creation of employment.
Generator of illegitimate network traffic
Blažek, Ondřej ; Smékal, David (referee) ; Blažek, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the problems of DoS/DDoS attacks and development of a tool, in C lanugage, for generating them. In the first chapter the principles of DoS attacks targeting the internet and transport layers of ISO/OSI model are described and also according to their characteristics divided. Selected attacks on the application layer are also described here in detail togehter with protocols which they are based on. In the following chapter there has been created a comparison of freely available tools, which could be used as a attack generators. The practical part is dedicated to a development of a tool for DoS attacks, especially design, general description and usage. Further there is a summary of the newly created library, including results of web server testing, and extensions of a web interface, which is part of the developed tool.
An Own Novelette With Authorial Commentary
Blažek, Ondřej ; Peterka, Josef (advisor) ; Kubíček, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis consists of two main parts: the first is author's own novellete and the second is an essay which describes mainly the process of a creation of the story. By using literary-theoretical perspective the essay thus tries to uncover and analyse the problems a writer deals with during his work; it analyses the changes, which were effectuated by author in order to attain his original intentions. In particular, the essay focuses on questions such as: finding the suitable subject for the story; portraying the characters and pointing the conflict between them; constructing the sujet and spatiotemporal relations. It is also higly focused on a questions linked to autobiography, on the transformation of an authobiographical story to a fictious story. At the conclusion the essay responds to the reviews on the long-short story; the author evaluates himself as a creative personality and thinks of a practical use of the experience acquired through the writing of a literary work in teaching the Czech language and literature at school.
Internet and its use in the households
Blažek, Ondřej ; Grosz, Jan (advisor) ; Macháček, Otakar (referee)
The thesis describes the history of the internet, its development and the main functions this network offers. In addition to the description, it will also analyse the main technologies by which users get connected to the worldwide network. It will also gather information about the leading providers of internet in Czech Republic. The analytical part touches on all aspects of the system from a static point of view. Firstly, identifying the regular Czech home network users which are dependent on the computer and internet equipment, and secondly, underlining the most widely used internet providers. The next important part of the thesis analyses the growth and extension of all operations done on internet itself. It puts all users on a scale to compare major fields for which that internet is used.
Current trends in the security of Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 networks
Blažek, Ondřej ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Endrle, Pavel (advisor)
This work describes security options of 802.11 standard. Principle of WEP algorithm is described here, problem with his inicialization vector which leads to a statistical attack and revelation of his secret key. Moreover other principles of algorithms such as WPA, WPA2 are explained here along with a practical demonstration of bruteforce attack in a practical part of the thesis. Also the influence of encryption on network throughput is tested here using tool Iperf.
Voltage magnitude deviations in a low-voltage distribution network due to increase in impedance of Y-connected load node to ground and unbalanced load
Blažek, Ondřej ; Paar, Martin (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with the issue of an unbalanced power load of a three-phase main load and the associated network load of a PEN conductor. The introduction discusses the various types of systems where the distribution networks are implemented. Followed by the description of network segments causing issues discussed in this paper. The theoretical part discusses the possible operating conditions which lead to balancing the flow of neutral current, also shows the relation of the size of countervailing power charges and the form of the network load. There are also hints of possible risks that the mentioned situations may cause to the network operation in terms of function and safety. The practical part deals with the mathematical simulation model created in MATLAB. There are simulations based on which there is a description of the network behavior for the cases of induced adverse factors. The conclusion summarizes the most important results and findings produced by the simulations.
CONTROL SYSTEM DEDUSTING ARC MELTING FURNACES
Blažek, Ondřej ; Klíma, Bohumil (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with control and process visualization system dedusting arc melting furnaces, the subject of this master´s thesis is electrical part of the ventilation system from the control system via industrial communication to the design of power components, which include the main fan motor powering inverter. Another part is paid to the design and description of the proceedings, a concept of the control program, design visualization, implementation, remote access and archiving of process values. The last part contains evaluation of the project in terms of the preparatory phase and in terms of commissioning, in particular the description of the additional work that had to be compared to the proposal for commissioning performed.
