Motivation Of Secondary School Teachers For Continuing Education

The bachelor thesis deals with motivation of secondary school teachers for continuing education. The main aim is to find out what motivates secondary school teachers for continuing education. On the basis of theoretical knowledge of professional literature, it first defines the profession of a teacher. It also focuses on further education of teachers in our country with its forms and specifics. Then it deals with the motivation of teachers for further education. The final part of the thesis is dedicated to the quantitative empirical survey among secondary school teachers in the Ústí Region. A partial objective of the survey is to identify factors that influence teachers' motivation for further education. Ageism in Czech Society. Prejudices and Stereotypes about Old Age and the Abilities of Seniors in the View of Generation X, Y, and Z assessing representatives

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare the differences in perception of selected aspects related to the older age (older age and old age evaluation, the employment of seniors, the ability of seniors) in X, Y and Z generations. The bachelor thesis outlines the demographic situation of aging in the Czech Republic and the potential physical, psychological, and social changes in old age. The thesis also deals with ageism, its sources and implications as well as ageism in the labor market. The thesis presents important stereotypes about old age and seniors. Attention is paid to the characteristics of each generation. The quantitative survey is carried out in the form of questionnaires, which were distributed to representatives of the individual generations. Respondents were selected by age, based on their respective generation. The aim of the survey is to identify potential differences in the perception of stereotypes and prejudices about seniors in X, Y, and Z generations. A partial objective of the empirical survey is to find out how individual representatives of each generation perceive old age, wheter general or their own. Informal Learning within Volunteering Activities

This diploma thesis elaborates on the topic of informal learning within volunteering activities with children and youth. It is based on the concept of lifelong learning and describes characteristics of informal learning and volunteer work. It pays attention to types of motivation for volunteering and shows the possibilities of informal learning within volunteering activities with children and youth. The empirical research uses the questionnaire to examine the forms of self-directed learning. In particular, it examines the areas in which the self-directed learning is most frequently carried out and the impact of the most frequently held function on choice of areas of self-directed learning. The research also focuses on the impact of reciprocal motivation on the proportion of self-directed learning realized within volunteering activities and on the perception of selected activities as the source of new incentives and information. The ending part of the thesis contains interpretation of results and recommendation for future research in the field.
Analysis of Informal Social Relationships in Workplace Learning Process

Modern approach to process of workplace learning is called The workplace learning concept. It is defined as an interaction between person and his/her workplace. This approach redefines conservative classification of profession education and brings new insight on the process of permanent learning inside company in defined workplace boundaries. Primary objective of this diploma thesis is to verify dependencies between informal employee's relationships on a workplace and process of their learning. Informal relationships analysis is done via sociometric questionnaire and qualitative interviews with chosen employees who represents each hierarchy levels inside organization. Empiric evaluation was executed in three different industrial oriented Moravian companies in three administrative regions of Czech Republic: South Moravian Region, Zlin Region and Moravian−Silesian Region.
The Level of Health Literacy of Teachers at Upper Primary Schools and the Ways of its Development

The thesis deals with the topic of health literacy and the level of health literacy of teachers. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the current condition of the health literacy of adults in the Czech Republic with the focus on the level of health literacy of the teachers at upper primary schools and to describe the possibilities and ascpect of edcuation and development of the teacher's health literacy. Firstly, the definitons and the models of health literacy are decribed as well as a description of the main international and Czech documents related to health literacy. Consequently, the thesis examines the reaserch, the tools of measurement and the possibilities of development of health literacy are explored. The purpose of the empicical survey is to analyse the level of health literacy of the teachers at upper primary schools in Prague. Within the survey, the approach towards the education focused on health literacy is examined along with the preferences of the form of such education. 5 Abstract The bachelor thesis deals with forms of women's motivation to participate in IT courses and the subsequent employment of graduates of these courses in the labour market. The main aim of the work is to obtain information about the motivation of women to participate in IT courses based on the critical elaboration of professional sources and empirical investigation. The quantitative questionnaire survey is focused on identifying the main motivational factors that women are taking to participate in IT courses, which are primarily targeted at women, as a specific target group. A partial objective of the empirical survey is to determine whether IT courses have an impact on the IT career of participants. Data collection took place among IT graduates in the monitored area of leading organizations such as Czechitas, Django Girls, PyLadies and Rails Girls. The Continuing Teacher Education in Moravskoslezský region - the Possibility of Developing Competencies needed to perform Elementary School Teacher Profession

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the content focus of elementary schools teacher professional development of in the Moravian-Silesian Region - whether the offer of courses subjectively enabled the primary school teachers to develop competencies necessary for their profession. These competencies will be defined according to the National System of Occupation (Národní soustava povolání). The thesis will outline the history of teacher professional development in the Czech Republic and also the current trends will be brought closer to this area. The Regional Education and Information Center of the Moravian-Silesian Region (KVIC) will be presented. It is the largest organizer of courses related to the teacher professional development in this region. The offer of the courses, accredited by the Ministry of Education and designed to elementary school teachers, will be classified and summarized according to the data obtained from the KVIC organization. Then a comparison of the content of the courses and competencies required in the NSP will be carried out - whether the organized courses allow to develop the competencies of the primary school teachers set up in the NSP. Psychological Aspects of Working from Home

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of working from home as one of the forms of work that provides better flexibility. Initially, it focuses solely on the flexible working arrangements, followed by defining "working from home" in the context of both Czech Republic and of western countries. Furthermore, it considers the advantages and especially disadvantages of working from home from the perspective of workers with first hand experience. This thesis is also focused on the possible ways how to synchronize work and employee's personal life while working from home. The aim of this thesis is to identify both the positive and negative aspects associated with working from home as subjectively perceived by employees who work this way. Part of this thesis is an investigation which aims to understand how employees perceive certain aspects of working from home and how they are able to distinguish between work and their personal lives. Emotion Regulation in Relation to Aggressive Behavior at School

Emotion regulation plays the important role in dealing with stressful situations, therefore it can be supposed its positive effect in relation to aggression and bullying. The article is devoted to question, if emotion regulation diminishes the frequency of aggressive behavior in school classes. It was used the questionnaire of aggressive behavior and the questionnaire of cognitive regulation of emotions in research sample of 108 pupils of elementary school. The obtained results reveal that adolescents, which behave aggressively, use more frequently blaming others and less acceptation as the strategies of emotion regulation. The defenders who try to forestall of aggression more frequently use positive reappraisal and putting into perspective.
Emotional and social intelligence in health weakened and disabled adolescents

The concept of intelligence is currently linked to different theoretical meanings, as well as conceptual ambiguity of the construct. It is shown to the importance of the analysis of the relationships of emotional intelligence in terms of the model as the personality feature and also to the abilities towards social competences which are very important in early adolescence. Understanding the concept of emotional intelligence is not uniform and there is some overlap with the concept of social intelligence. This paper deals with relationships of emotional intelligence as personality feature and social intelligence. The data were obtained in the selection of health weakened and disabled adolescents through a Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (TEIQue) and the range of the Tromso Social Intelligence Scale (TSIS).
