Statues in Lysa nad Labem castle garden

The subject of interest of this work is the collection of statues ordered by Count František Antonín Špork, placed in 1735 in the castle garden at Lysá nad Labem. This collection is made up of 32 statues and is made up of primarily allegorical subjects (allegories of the Seasons, the Continents, Day and Night, the Elements, and the Twelve months). It is supplemented by Pairs of lionesses, lions, and sphinxes. Originally the collection was attributed to the workshop of M. B. Braun, more recently it has been credited to "Sculptors from Benátky", which is most commonly identified in literature with František Adámek from Benátky nad Jizerou. In the first part of this written work, the person of F. A. Špork will be briefly introduced as the one who commissioned the works of art. Another part of the work deals with the history and the sculptural decoration of the castle gardens. The central and most comprehensive part of the work consists of a detailed description of the collection with links to photographic documentation in an attachment. The work is focused on the formal analysis of the sculptures of the collection, to identify their characteristics and comparison with the works of M. B. Braun. The history of Kruhˇs publisher and policy (critique)

The bachelor thesis History of Kruh's publisher and edition policy (critique) is a description of Kruh publishing house and it also critically analyzes editorial policies. The thesis includes Kruh's predecessors Východočeské nakladatelství and Jiří Chvojka's publishing house in Havlíčkův Brod. Kruh is associated with Jiří Chvojka's publishing house only remotely, but it is an interesting object for comparison of regional publishing houses. There had existed two publishing houses in the east of the Czech Republic, which published the regional literature. Their production extended the complexity of the national literature. This thesis outlines historical figure of Jiří Chvojka and edition policy of his publishing house. Furthermore, I also wrote about Krajské nakladatelství in Hradec Králové, which had been operated from 1950 till 1951. Even at that time it was possible to find an attempt to publishing regional literature. For each publishing house is outlined their origin, historical context and part of edition policy. Attention is focused on regionalism and its application to the literature of the Eastern Bohemia. I analyzed the publishing house Kruh in relation with former circumstances. The cultural heritage, care and conservation of the small baroque sacral architecture explained by an example of the district Česká Lípa

v anglickém jazyce The purpose of the thesis is a cultural heritage management of the small baroque sacral buildings, which has passed unnoticed for a longer period of time. As a model region is chosen the district Ceska Lipa. First, in this thesis is briefly summarized the history of district Ceska Lipa since the 18th century. Then the thesis describes various factors which have had an influence on the local monuments. Particularly the regional factors which are responsible for the heritage damage and also the conditions and institutions participating in the heritage preservation and documentation. Next, the overview of typology and terminology of a small sacral architecture is also covered. The major part of this thesis is a catalogue of explored monuments in different villages or small towns including the village/ town history and the art historic establishment of the monuments. This part is also focused on the documentation and comments of the current preservation of each building. The recommendation of preservation is proposed herein as a potential way of monument restoration. Finally, the research outcomes are discussed with regard to a possible management and future exploring.

Jan Karel Hammer's Stone Sculptural and Woodcarving Work in Central and South Bohemia

The aim of this thesis is to record and evaluate from art-historical point of view the stone sculptural and woodcarving work of Jan Karel Hammer, whose activity was documented between the years 1737 and 1757 on the border of central and southern Bohemia. The topic of thesis was chosen due to the fact, that this interesting artist has not yet been introduced to the professional public. Automatic attribution of all sculptural and woodcarving work in the area around Čimelice, where Jan Karel Hammer spent the last two decade of his life, to his hand together with a sharp increase of works, that are assumed to belong to him, led to the need for critical review. With the exceptions of Hammer's works the information was drawn from topografical, historical and regional literature and from archival sources. Because of the literary character and limited number of sources the main emphasis was placed on formal analysis. The examined material was divided into several cathegories, as can be seen in the structure of final catalogue. Thanks to detailed knowledge of works it was possible to identify author's distinctive style, which can be detected also in the workshop production, and all specifics of his work. Karel Josef Hiernle - Late baroque sculptor

This diploma thesis considers personality of sculptor Karel Josef Hiernle, who actively worked in the transitional period between late Baroque and early Rokok. Emphasis are put on his ties to Brevnov-Broumov Abbey for which he worked for the duration of the majority of his artistic life. Unforgetable and crutial for this sculptor was cooperation with architect Kilian Ignac Dietzenhofer. Chronologically ranged catalogue of carvings creates the main part of this theses.

Jan Adam Dietz, Adam Ferdinand Tietz, Jan Václav Grauer and the sculpture workshop in Jezeří near Jirkov

The sculpture workshop in Jezeří near Jirkov is a representative instance of sculptural production in both wood and stone in northwest Bohemia during the first half of the 18th century. Traces of its activity may be discerned throughout the area roughly outlined by the present-day districts of Teplice, Most, Chomutov and Louny. In addition to the founder and primary shaper of the specific sculptural style of the atelier, Jan Adam Dietz, the idea of the "sculpture workshop of Jezeří" additionally covers further exceptional personalities, who not only acquired in it the basis of their physical craft, but moreover the essential form of their artistic sensitivity. Primarily, these persons include the two sons of Jan Adam Dietz, Jan Josef and Adam Ferdinand, as well as Dietz's son-in-law Jan Václav Grauer. Thanks to its high artistic standards, the Jezeří sculpture workshop has attracted the attention of several generations of researchers, who starting in the late 1920s and early 1930s organised several exhibitions devoted to the Baroque and Rococo sculpture of the region. It was these first scholars who outlined the basic characterisations still used today to describe the work of J. A. Dietz and J. V. Grauer. The thesis is focused on financial planning of building order. The thesis gradually defines building order, Phase of building order and their sources of financing, it also deals with the costs, financial return and cash flows. One section is also devoted to financial planning, of building order and financial analysis. The practical part is focused on financial plan of a specific building order and assessment of company financial stability. The financial plan building order will be demonstrated in two different ways of planning and financing.

Families with a disabled child - coping with difficult family situations

This bachelor thesis is about the difficult situation of mothers who are raising a child with disabilities. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the reaction of the family to the birth of a child with a disability. It then deals with the influence of the birth of a child with disabilities on the life of the mother, describes the difficult living situation, the management burden and its solution. The theoretical part further defines family resilience. The practical part is dedicated to qualitative research, which was carried out in semi-structured talks with four mothers looking after children with mental disabilities. The goal of the research is to transcribe and bring closer to the reader the difficult situation which the birth of a child with a mental disability creates, and to describe how mothers cope with such a situation. The practical part consists of case studies.

ADHD symptoms in preschool children

The goal of my bachelor work is to exact specify diagnostic of ADHD, also of related term ADD. I analyze possible symptoms of ADHD in preschool time. Also I apply to causes and conditions of ADHD. I think about it in the next chapter, how far this disorder interferences with live of family and I think about possibilities of nursery school on the work with children this diagnosis. Observation to behavior of three children with this diagnosis in nursery school represent in practical part of my work. I analyze their symptoms in detail. The goal of my practical part is made individual educational plan for everyone of them separately.
