Haringová, Věra ; Adámková, Jana (advisor) ; Komárková, Tereza (referee)
This master thesis pursues social developement of intact child raised by the parents with visual impairment. It is specifically aimed at the development communication skills of this child. Childhood education by the parents with visual impairment presents certain specifics, which are manifested on the development of the komunikacni competence of the child. By the persons with visual impairment it is common to encounter enadequate mimic expresion and the absence of gestures. Child adopts the communication according to the model of her parents. But over time, its communication expressions become more and more related to the surrounding society. Considerable role in this process represent the encounters with intact persons, which deliver different non-verbal feedback. On the other side parents with visual impairment stimulate their children to the verbal communication and this verbal communication can become significantly more developed than that of their peers. The thesis will focus on the upbringing styles in lesbian families. Research is going to be qualitative and will be held trough interviews with the seven families. The aim of the thesis is to describe the conditions of upbringing styles in lesbian families. Then we will compare the results, also with other studies in this field. The results showed, that lesbian mothers use so called democratic parenting styles. They think, that it is important to respect their children's needs, hear their thoughts and opinions and in most cases (according to age) to let them decide what they want. The mothers educate their children in types of families (heteroparental, homoparental, single) from young age. They do it via films, fairy tales and books, mothers also provide meetings with other homoparental families to their children. When it comes to homophobia, most of the couples do not prepare their children for theoretical unpleasant situations. In three of seven families the children also have contact with donors.

Adámková, Jana ; Soukupová, Tereza (advisor) ; Preiss, Marek (referee) ; Sotáková, Hana (referee)
The main topic of this dissertation is the usage of apperception techniques in diagnosing children aged 6 to 7 years, with an emphasis on the practice of School Psychology. The theoretical part focuses primarily on psychological diagnosis in School Psychology with the emphasis on apperception techniques, their benefits, and downfalls. The other focus is on the Thematic Apperception Test and Roberts-2, as well as selected assessment systems. The practical part is introduced by the research methodology. Both diagnostic methods were administered to 30 children aged 6 to 7 years, whose responses were assessed using standardized systems, and subsequently compared both quantitatively and qualitatively. The main finding is that the stories evoked by Roberts-2 cards exceeds the stories evoked by TAT cards in developmental quality, the latter of which the children find too overloading to produce an optimal reaction, with varied results in their adaptability. The dissertation also presents the specifics of administering these methods to children. Based on the data derived from 50 children, the Czech norms for Roberts-2 method for children aged 6 to 7 were created in their working stage, and than compared with the original American norms.

The psychedelic experience is psychologically elaborated with emphasis on the current scientific knowledge in the field and their embedding in the context of the developmental theories of consciousness taking the effort of unravelling the pre/trans fallacy and the clinical implications into account. Dizon, Adam ; Adámková, Jana (advisor) ; Goldmann, Petr (referee)
This thesis explores the position of Person-Centred Approach (PCA) in the practice of Czech clinical psychologists and psychiatrists who went through the PCA psychotherapy training and they use this approach in their current clinical practice. The main principles of PCA theory (1), principles of biomedical model in which clinical practice is rooted (2) and the new forms of person-centred psychopathology and psychodiagnosis (3) are the theoretical background of the following research. Based on the qualitative analysis of five recorded interviews (three clinical psychologists, two psychiatrists) the experience of the respondents is organised as comprehensive concepts concerning various areas and topics of the clinical practice (diagnosis, psychotherapy, dealing with PCA, dealing with biomedical model, therapeutic relationship, relation to the profession). Several common mechanisms are identified in the concept's dynamics. Through these mechanisms Person-Centred Approach is applied in areas and activities mentioned. The concepts based on experience and the PCA application mechanisms enrich the theories and ongoing research of PCA practice in the Western mental health care. Key words: Person-Centred Approach, Client-Centred Therapy, psychiatry, clinical psychology, psychotherapy, psychodiagnosis,...

Adamková, Jana ; Löw, Jiří (referee) ; Štěpánková,, Roberta (referee) ; Havliš, Karel (advisor)
The image of the postindustrial city is formed by public spaces (streets, plazas and squares, parks, riverfronts and waterfronts) together with a wide range of underused urban spaces and long-term unused areas of stalled spaces. The subject of this work is research of different types of urban gardening spaces and their optimal spatial, operational and functional parameters in the context of urbanism and urban planning. The aim is to apply them to the structure of unused urban spaces. On the basis of the case studies included in the research, the success of placement of individual community projects in different types of public spaces and stalled spaces is assessed. Recommendations for planning practice are based on these evaluations. The results of the work show that spaces with possibilities of horticultural production are a suitable solution for the temporary and also long-term use of under-utilized urban areas with many benefits in social, economic and environmental areas.
Using the MMPI-2 in Differential Diagnostic of Asperger's Syndrome and Schizofrenia
Adámková, Jana ; Soukupová, Tereza (advisor) ; Goldmann, Petr (referee)
The main target of this study is to identify the scales in MMPI-2 which could help the differential diagnostic process between Asperger's syndrome and schizophrenia. Adult persons with Asperger's syndrome and adult persons with schizophrenia were examined. The study has a quantitative character, concretely data mining, which offers generating and verifying hypothesis. The results show that configuration of heights of specific scales can be crucial in distinguishing between Asperger's syndrome and schizophrenia. In the concrete we expect increase in 0Si, Sc1, Pa2 and OBS along with medial T-scores in Sc6, Pa1, Psyc and Biz in protocols of people with Asperger's syndrome. People with schizophrenia have increased T-scores in Sc6, Pa1, Psyc and Biz. KEY WORDS  Asperger's syndrome  Schizophrenia  Differential diagnostic  Adulthood  MMPI-2
