Adult education in scout movements
Kaderová, Kateřina ; Kopecký, Martin (advisor) ; Štěpánek, Zdeněk (referee)
This Bachelor's Thesis deals with the questions of adult education in Jumlk - Association of Scouts and Guides - CZ in connection with state regularizations. Apart from the analysis of Czech regularizations, it also mentions the European situation. In the Czech Republic, there is not one law treating the area of non-governmental youth organizations but only partial obligations. Non-governmental organizations can accredit their courses if they observe the state requirements and so does Junak. Europe insists on the quality of non-formal education with which assuring is concerned the project of the organization Youth Forum Jeunesse. Junak - Association of Scouts and Guides - CZ has its own multistep educational system for its adult members. Each qualification corresponds to the function executed by volunteers. The concept of competences is gradually gaining ground. It tries to lay down all knowledge, skills and positions needed for successful exercising of each function. Besides, Junak is obliged to tackle all problems and questions arising around its courses and qualifications. Junak also holds a number of non-qualifYing courses of bigger or smaller extent.

Paulíková, Aneta ; Šnýdrová, Ivana (advisor) ; Štěpánek, Zdeněk (referee)
It is evident from the name of my thesis that I am trying to connect through two disciplines - psychology and personnel management. My effort is to identify and show the application of particular psychology branches that are somehow connected with Personnel Management. I have chosen this topic, because I am interested in both of these disciplines and I am convinced that every theory should have utilization in practice - here in practice of personnel management. My thesis is divided into three parts. The first chapter brings out general problems of personnel management, explanation of concepts and making clear who really is involved in this process. Very important is a question of a status of personnel management in the whole company structure. The status has a great impact on the real personnel work. Second part concerns several psychology disciplines, which are in my opinion the most utilizable in personnel work. It is industrial and organizational psychology and personality psychology. I write about its history, concepts, main figures and particular knowledge. There is a lot of theories bounded with personnel work (e.g. motivational theories), but I am not describing every theory and I am not enumerating all of them. I try to show some of these theories in practical usage in the third chapter. This...

Freight transport in Czechia: analysis of the structure of performance and transport policy strategies
Štěpánek, Zdeněk ; Marada, Miroslav (advisor) ; Randák, Jakub (referee)
The first aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine and assess the meaningfulness of the current strategic documents of the Ministry of Transport, which address the change in current state of the domestic freight transport. The second aim is to identify those commodities which are transported by road and that could be in the future transported by an alternative way. At best, it should be ways which are less environmentally demanding and makes less load on the road. My own personal analysis of the current state of domestic and international transport in Czechia is used as a means to achieve these aims. Some of the strategic documents of Ministry of Transport contain beneficial development plans but on the contrary some of them are useless for the current situation. In Czechia there are freights for which it could be found more adequate ways of transport. In the international transport it can especially be recommended the use of combined transport as it is quite heterogeneous. KEY WORDS freight transport, railway transport, road transport, environment, development, Czechia
