Valášková, Veronika ; Urbanová, Klára (referee) ; Čtrnáctová, Hana (advisor)
The main subject of this thesis is a practical elaboration of the subject "Boron, Carbon and Nitrogen Group of the p-block elements" in form of presentations created using the Microsoft PowerPoint program. The presentations are designed to be used in practice, during the education of chemistry at secondary schools. The thesis also contains additional comments for teachers and an analysis of curricular documents and selected textbooks. It is elaborated in accordance with the RVP G programme.
Chemical and environmental education on secondary grammar schools - topic: Raw materials and their usage
Pacáková, Hana ; Pisková, Dana (referee) ; Čtrnáctová, Hana (advisor)
Topics Raw materials and their utilisition has been disposed in this graduation thesis. A survey of curicular documents, school books for secondary schools and theses focused on D-elements has been conducted. The technical text transformation into the teaching material has been made on the basis of this survey. This can be used as teaching aids in chemistry and environmental lessons. Experiments suitable for secondary teaching have been carried and the lab protocol for the higher and lower grades of grammar schools has been created.
Chemistry textbooks - historical progress and present
Petriláková, Monika ; Matoušková, Šárka (referee) ; Čtrnáctová, Hana (advisor)
This dissertation is primarily devoted to historical development of chemistry textbooks and evaluation of selected textbooks. At the beginning of this work is a brief outline of the field of chemistry, especially since the content of chemistry is relevant to the content of the curriculum in chemistry textbooks. My dissertation work briefly deals with one of the first books of chemistry ever and then describes the development of chemistry textbooks in our country in detail. Then the criteria for evaluating textbooks are outlined, and eventually the evaluation of selected textbooks is made. The intetion is to make certain retrospective kind of writing history textbooks, which can be an inspiration to the authors of textbooks of chemistry. Presented perspectives, evaluation of textbooks and summary closure of analyzed textbooks can also help teachers to choose textbooks from a wide range of offers on the market.
Chemistry - Geology relatives in the Science education
Kálalová, Anna ; Teplý, Pavel (referee) ; Čtrnáctová, Hana (advisor)
In my bachelor thesis I fixed myself on inter-subject relations between chemistry and geology in natural sciences in grammar schools. I looked up this theme in curricula for grammar schools and I made chemistry and geology school-books research. I selected several usual minerals and rocks with useful chemical composition and I wrote chemical and geological information about them. I found chemical experiments with this chemical substances, modified them and did them.
General chemistry at secondary schools in experimental tasks
Voborská, Dana ; Čtrnáctová, Hana (advisor) ; Stratilová Urválková, Eva (referee)
Title General chemistry at high schools in experimental tasks Abstract This work explores the subject of chemical equilibrium in the curriculum of general chemistry in chemical education at secondary schools. The main source is basically analysis of educational systems and mentioned curriculum topic in selected European countries (Great Britain, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia) and Czech Republic. The main objective is to prepare instructional chemical equilibrium documents at the level of secondary education in the form of worksheets, that include teaching exercises and chemical experiments. The experiments are designed mainly for home laboratory work, some experiments are useful for elementary school pupils.
