Generally Binding Ordinances of the Municipalities
ČERMÁK, Jakub
The main aim of this thesis is to analyze generally binding ordinances of the municipalities in theirs self-governing or transferred authority, finding out conditions and basis for publishing the generally binding ordinances of the municipalities in selected municipalities, analysis of them, evaluation of this procedure and subsequently proposals and recommendations how to improve a current state of the Municipalities Lišov, Trhové Sviny, and the small town Ledenice. The introductory part of this thesis deals with definition of important terms, based on an available bibliography. Necessary sources are obtained from questionnaire form, or personal consultation with employees of municipal authorities. In the analytical part, these results are assembled and analyzed, and finally, the recommendations for improvement are suggested. The results of this research are consulted with employees of individual municipal authorities
The Influence of Foreign Bank Ownership on the Banking System in the Czech Republic
Čermák, Jakub ; Polák, Petr (advisor) ; Hejlová, Hana (referee)
The intention of the thesis is to analyse the Czech banking sector between the years 2003 and 2017 and focus on the behaviour of the foreign banks. Analysing exhaustive quarterly data from the CNB internal database, it is shown that during the studied period, the foreign banks controlled 90% to 96% of the total banking assets in the country. The lending activities of the foreign banks are found procyclical, in contrast to the countercyclical activities of the Czech banks. Contrary to the expectations, corporate loans of the foreign banks do not show a higher degree of procyclicality than the other types of loans. Furthermore, no evidence is found for the claim that the foreign banks' lending patterns follow the business cycles of the home countries of these banks. However, the relation between the GDP growth of the foreign banks' home countries and the foreign banks' loan growth became significant during the global financial crisis between 2008 and 2009. Out of the bank performance ratios, the equity-to-assets ratio is revealed to significantly influence the loan growth of the foreign banks.
Rozpoznávání drah částic v pixelovém detektoru typu Timepix
Čermák, Jakub ; Čermák, Pavel (advisor) ; Doležal, Zdeněk (referee)
In current particle physics field, the progressive detection technologies are used. The pixel detectors are one of them. These detectors are divided into small subdetectors (pixels), which allow viewing exact tracks of the detected particles. This thesis defines criteria for mathematical description of the shape of the particle tracks of different kinds (e-, γ, p, α, μ) and compares several methods used for a classification -neural networks, decision trees and others. The Pixa software was implemented to process the data measured by pixel detectors. This software implements the characteristics and classification methods and creates statistical and other physical results.
Optimization of Project Management by Implemetation of Agile Methodology
Čermák, Jakub ; Mgr.Radim Drgáč (referee) ; Smolíková, Lenka (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of agile project management methodology for the company engaged in the development of custom-made applications. This thesis will be based on an analysis of the current state, which describes the current state of approach to project management. The subject of the thesis is to improve processes and streamline project management using agile methods.
Numerical analysis of bio-mimetic concept for active flow control on wing surface
Práce pokračuje popisem a zdůvodněním volby numerické metody.
Methods of investigation of drug-related crime
Čermák, Jakub ; Štourač, Petr (advisor) ; Musil, Jan (referee)
The methodology for investigation of drug-related crime is the topic of this thesis. There are a few reasons why I have chosen this topic. The issue of drugs, drug-related crime, drug addiction and also illegal drug traffic has become recently the worldwide problem which intervenes into many areas of human life and therefore we must constantly pay attention to it. Especially this fact, together with other reasons as my personal connection with drug issue (few-year-long involvement in the program focused on the primary prevention from drugs at secondary schools) made me to choose this topic. My thesis is divided into 6 parts. In the first two chapters I define the general notions related to the drug issue and I provide with the division of drugs into groups under chosen criteria. For the better orientation in this issue I have listed the most common types of drugs with the description of their effect on the organism of humans. In the third part of my thesis I focus on the criminal prosecution of drug offences and the historical development of the legal regulation of this issue. More deeply I analyze the Act No. 140/1961 Coll., the Criminal Act, as amended and the actual legal regulation governing the prosecution of drug offences, the Act No. 40/20096 Coll., the Criminal Code, as amended. The forth...
3D Physics Toolbox with Haptics Support
Čermák, Jakub ; Kmoch, Petr (advisor) ; Horáček, Jan (referee)
The main goal of this thesis is to create software which would allow a user to simulate and study physical processes in systems of mass particles, which follow laws of classical mechanics and can collide together. The simplicity and easiness of control was emphasized, which corresponds to support of haptic devices, which can be used both for influencing running simulation and creation of the scene. It is possible to change parameters in physical properties of objects and environment (like gravitation or air density) and also to visualize affecting forces and other properties. It allows the user to explore physical processes. This work uses knowledge from many fields - mass particle mechanics, numerical integration used for application of physical laws, algorithms for effective collision detection and haptic interaction and force rendering.
Design of a Computer Network for Company Lis plast Ltd
Čermák, Jakub ; Jordán, Vilém (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The Bachelor's thesis deals with the computer network design for the production company Lis plast s.r.o. The analysis is based on the technical documentation of the new production hall, there is going to unify the production to reduce the operating costs of the company. The objective of this thesis is the proposal for universal cabling for network communication and security.
Physics Simulation for Pinball Game
Čermák, Jakub ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Zachariáš, Michal (advisor)
The objective of this work is to create a library for physical simulation and using the library to create a game of pinball, on which you can test functionality of the library. Problems that appeared during the creation of the library, are described in this paper along with their solutions. In particular, tunneling, detection and results of collisions. Subsequent optimization solutions to these problems for our specific library. Of no smaller importance are principles which reduce the requirements of the final simulation. Among the most important ones are the correct choice of limits, detection of rolling and sleep of slowly moving dynamic objects.
Fatigue Evaluation of Aircraft Structure According to FAR Part 23 Airworthiness Standards
Čermák, Jakub ; Koštial, Rostislav (referee) ; Augustin, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with acceptable means of showing compliance with the FAR 23 regulation based on safe-life experimental and analytical evaluation. In the introduction the author focuses on the historical development of the regulation and follows with summarization of current requirements. The subsequent pages describes in detail the certification based on full-scale testing, component testing and structural analysis using the cumulative rule. Appendix includes examples of load spectra approved by the FAA.
