Professional education of criminalistic technicians of the Military Police

The thesis is focused on the professional education of criminalistic technicians of the Military Police. In the first, theoretical part of the thesis, the author deals with education and training of criminalistic technicians of the Military Police in the context demarcating basic theoretical concepts from the area of further professional education, brief introduction to the structure of the Military Police and clarification of basic concepts from the area of criminalistic and technical activities of the Military Police. The aim of the second, practical part of the thesis, is to analyze the current professional education of criminalistic technicians of the Military Police with a focus on their needs.
Analysis of educational needs of teachers at high school

1 ABSTRACT The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the educational needs of adults in professional education, specifically focuses on the analysis of the educational needs of grammar school teachers, which the student choses for the implementation of research. Today, the further education of pedagogical staff is a much-discussed topic, as one of the goals of the Strategie 2030+ document is to transform schools into learning organizations. But before a educational program can be determined, educational needs must be analyzed and identified. Therefore, the aim of the diploma thesis is primarily to analyze and identify the educational needs of grammar school teachers and then to design a program for their implementation. The work is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part is based on the study of professional literature and other available sources. Barriers in the education of seniors

This diploma thesis is concerned with the barriers to education for the elderly . In the theoretical part there is introduced the theoretical framework of gerontology as well as other related issues i.e. the ageing, old age, quality of life and different forms of education for older adults. The practical segment of the thesis deals with the actual research and summary of the data obtained by the survey. The survey encompasses multiple aspects such as gender, age or in particular the age distribution within the group of elderly learners, or their highest level of educational attainment. The research aims at discovering whether the level of education acquired by seniors previously in life could somehow influence their desire to learn more in old age. Therefore , if there exists a stronger tendency to engage in further education among the vocational, highschool or university graduates. Other perspectives of the research are the geographical location of learners, their field of study or their motives behind the participation in the University of the Third Age studies. Specifics of lecturing work in the Customs administration of Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to identify and characterize the specifics of lecturing work with a focus on the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic. The structure of the thesis is divided into two main parts, namely the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part emphasizes the importance of further professional education. Attention is paid to the characteristics and description of general concepts of business education. The profession of the lecturer is characterized in the andragogic context with the definition of his/her basic competencies and activities in the individual phases of the educational event implementation. Lecturer's work in the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic is also characterized and its specifics are identified. In the practical part of the thesis, the case study is realized in the form of questionnaire. The aim of the case study is to analyse the effective use of the teaching methods, teaching aids and the feedback methods. The target group are lecturers of the Czech Customs Administration. An anonymous questionnaire was chosen as the key tool of the case study. The findings are presented in graphs and tables including accompanying comments. The conclusion summarizes the results of the investigation and a final evaluation.
Adult Education at Basic Art Schools

The thesis focuses on art education of adults, more specifically on art education of adults at basic art schools in Prague and Central Bohemia. The thesis discusses the low frequency of exploiting of this kind of education and its reasons and presents suggestions to broaden education of adults at basic art schools. Theoretical part of the thesis defines leisure education of adults at the beginning and continues with definition of cultural and aesthetic education of adults, while it focuses on art and music education. The final chapter of theoretical part describes basic art schools and their associations. Statistical and other data connected to edult education at basic art schools in Prague and Central Bohemia are analysed in analytical part of the thesis. The research is completed with a questionnaire inquiry and is followed by suggestions for more frequent exploiting of adult education at basic art schools. Career of the kindergarten teacher and its support from the school management level

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of career in teaching, which has many specific characteristics compared to the classical concept of career. The thesis focuses on the group of kindergarten teachers who stand at the beginning of the education system as important influencers on the life-long educational journey of each of us. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the view of the kindergarten teacher career by teachers and principals and to look for support from the school management level. The theoretical part deals with three basic areas, which are professional development, professional career and career system. The first chapter shows the connection between the professional development of teachers and their career, it also focuses on its individual components, especially continual education of teachers. The second chapter is devoted to the career itself and compares the theoretical background of the career with its specifics in the teaching career. It looks at the teaching profession in terms of its attractiveness and individual stages of the teachers' career. Motivation and barriers in further adult education in doctoral degree

The aim of the thesis is to find out, what was the initial motive for the study of the doctoral program and what are the types of motivations and barriers in further education of adults in doctoral studies. The theoretical part is based on the concept of lifelong learning and lifelong learning. It defines the concept of further education of adults, which needs to be defined to anchor the topic in the work. It focuses on doctoral studies, phases during doctoral studies, related strategic documents, legislation and available research surveys, that focus on motivation and barriers. Another important part of the work is to define the motive, motivation, types of motivation in relation to the adult, which is part of further adult education. Barriers are viewed in terms of available research. The practical part is based on a quantitative and descriptive study examining motivations and barriers across the disciplines to pursue a doctoral degree, which was carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey. The research survey is aimed at doctoral students, who have already interrupted primary education and are returning to study after at least a one-year break.
