Internet in Marketing

This project describes internet marketing and its components (search engine marketing, internet advertising, internet PR, e-mail marketing etc.). It also describes the possibilities of employing internet in marketing and depicts new ways of online communication. The expenses for internet advertising are constantly growing as well as the number of internet users. The number of universities is increasing and so is the competition. That's why it's vital that they should act as a part of the market and use marketing strategies. The objective of this project is to analyse and suggest communication strategies of the Faculty of Management at the University of Economics in Prague using the knowledge acquired from the theoretical part. The practical part specifies the target group, draws up a report and chooses the way of communication. Further on, we will consider the timing of every single activity and the overall budget.
E-Government in the Czech Republic at the beginning of 21st century

The thesis aims to map current situation of e-government in the Czech Republic, to present recently implemented and upcoming projects. First part of the thesis sets out the definitions and presents the history of e-government in the Czech Republic. Second part describes the most used instruments of e-government: the communication infrastructure, databoxes, authorised conversion of documents, CzechPOINT and basic registers. Third and fourth part deals with information systems used by legislative power, executive power and judicial power. The last part appraises current development.
Internet Marketing - the effectiveness of PPC advertising campaigns

The aim of bachelor thesis was to settle the theoretical concept of online advertising formats, among others, to distinguish different types of online advertising, and specifically to document the bases of PPC advertising. Then compare and define the current PPC systems. In the practical part of bachelor thesis describe how to create a simple PPC advertising campaigns, as well as commenting on the results achieved during the reporting period and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
Free Software and the Possibilities of its Application in Teaching at the Faculty of Management of Prague School of Economics

The bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of using free software (and very closely related open source) in academic environment. At first, it explains the term itself and principles. It slightly affects the motivation factor, which goes along with this specific model of software development and also gives an overview of the subjects, which are involved in it. Then it focuses on key legal issues, including types of licenses. A summary of the pros and cons is included as well. The main part is the concrete offer and characteristics of programs divided into groups according to the focus. At the end the thesis introduces with the examples of use in practice.
The Credit Cards

The aim of thesis was to describe the emergence, development and current status of different types and kinds of credit cards in terms of both end user and the banking institution. To document the development and implementation of payment cards in the Czech banking and consumer market. Furthermore, to capture what stage of development is the Czech internet and mobile banking. In the next part I postihnul all the risks as well as ways and methods of prevention. And I finally defined the card from the perspective of legal aspects.
Formal Requirements for Qualification Theses: Higher Schools of Economic-Managerial Orientation in the Czech Republic and Higher Schools of other orientations

In the introduction I summarised basic expressions, such as qualification theses or economy-management schools. Separate needs were defined and devided into a few categories. In the next part I compared the faculties according to criterias chosen. In my theses i finallys evaluated this comparison and suggested how to take remedial action to solve this situation in Faculty of Management.
Promotional materials of an educational institution

Publication analyzes the actual requirements for modern promotional materials of an educational institution. These requirements will be specified with regard to target group -- university applicants. The analysis will reflect main aspects of this domain. This publication contains an exploration of facts in relation to the actual presentation materials created by economic and management universities. Result of this work are the recommendations on making concepts of promotional materials of an educational institution.
web accessibility of Czech schools with economic-managerial orientation

The presented Bachelor thesis will deal with the rules of accessibility of web pages used by Czech schools with economic-managerial orientation, primarily according to the Czech standards following the WCAG. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines cover a wide range of recommendations for web creators concerning accessibility. These rules should make web pages accessible even to people handicapped in all possible ways (eye defects, hearing defects, locomotory problems etc.). My thesis will show how this accessibility varies in different countries (the U.S.A., European countries, the Czech Republic). The rules of how to make web pages will be gradually explained and also will be presented their significance for their practical utilization. In the practical part of my thesis, I will show these rules on several webs used by schools with economic-managerial orientation and subsequently I will try to make their ranking list. Last but not least, I will compare these results with the web of the Faculty of Management.
