Interactive flexible program - Sulfur chemistry and its impact to acquiring of curriculum
Dvořák, Michal ; Čipera, Jan (advisor) ; Bílek, Martin (referee) ; Havlíček, David (referee)
13. Summary At the end I have found out that all the main and partial goals identified at the beginning of the work have been fulfilled and the stated hypothesis has been confirmed. The results of the educational material analysis show that there is no any satisfactory complex educational program on the market. The questionnaire investigation between teachers and pupils acknowledged the present trend of using computers in education. It was explicitly demonstrated the interest at the both side oť the utilization in education system. The most of teachers appreciate the possibility to edit the Program according to the current needs. The chosen technology DHTML allows any user with the basic computer literacy and at least elementary knowledge of HTML to modify and adjust the Program in compliance with the actual conditions. On the basis of the facts established by enquiry I have created the Interactive Flexible Program "Chemistry of Sulfur" in order to all requirements on the modern didactic instrument specified for self-study. I have verified the created IFp during the study on some secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The results proofed the main research hypothesis of this work that the self-study with IFP contributes to the better results within learning of chernistry. I only did not succeed in the...
The influence of employment policy measures on employing persons with disability
Dvořák, Michal ; Tomeš, Igor (advisor) ; Hutař, Jan (referee)
The object of the thesis - The influence of employment policy measures on employing persons with disabilites - is set of employment policy measures applying to emplyoing persons with disabilites in the Czech Republic, and the influence of the measures on employing such persons from 1997 through 2007. The thesis describes development of the measures, analyses the measures costs, and considers the measures influence on the progress of the unemployment rate among persons with disabilites.
The VoIP protocols real time analyzer
Dvořák, Michal ; Jirovský, Václav (advisor) ; Kvítek, Petr (referee)
This thesis goal is to desing an application which would allow real-time monitoring and analyzing of services for transferring voice over the Internet network, based on the study of the relevant standards. The thesis focuses on monitoring the H.323 standard. An implementation is a part of this thesis.
The Dutch disease theory and its application to countries with independent monetary policy and members of monetary union
Fiala, Vojtěch ; Šíma, Ondřej (advisor) ; Dvořák, Michal (referee)
This diploma thesis aims to give a comprehensive picture of a phenomenon called The Dutch Disease whose symptoms had been increasing in many countries during the second half of the 20th century, especially in connection with mining. The first part deals with the detailed description of traditional economic theory and its later upgrades. In the second part, the Dutch Disease theory is applied to the member countries of the European Monetary Union and highlights the problems of asymmetric shocks, which may include among others the discovery of mineral resources. The third part then attempts to look at the recent European balance of payments crisis through the eyes of the Dutch Disease theory and to highlight a number of common symptoms.
Posouzení ekonomické efektivnosti investičního záměru podniku ČKD TURBO TECHNICS, spol. s r.o.
Dvořák, Michal
The assessment of economic efficiency of the investment project of the company ČKD TURBO TECHNICS, spol. s r.o. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2016. The aim of bachelor thesis is an evaluation of economic efficiency of two investment projects of the company ČKD TURBO TECHNICS, spol. s r.o. regarding construction or reconstruction small hydropower plant. Purpose of this evaluation is the suggestion regarding realization of one of the investment plan, eventually put the money into alternative investments. Dynamic methods of economical efficiency taking into account the factor of time, inflation and tax burden, such as Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Profitability Index and Payback Period will be mainly used in this bachelor thesis.
Traffic Situation Model
Dvořák, Michal ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
In this thesis, parameters required for physical construction of model of traffic camera system are identified. The information is used to design and construct a model, which supports simulation of important traffic situations. With focus, on the ability of model to allow for digital modification of simulation parameters over, for this purpose created, communication interface. The next part of thesis then focuses on creation of application which supports the control and image retrieval from group of cameras. The application is designed to support settings necessary for use as average speed enforcement cameras and as red-light cameras.
Association Rules Mining
Dvořák, Michal ; Chmelař, Petr (referee) ; Stryka, Lukáš (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is design and implementation of the application that provides a comparison of the performance and time consumption of given algorithms for mining of the frequent itemsets and the association rules. For demonstration, the mining algorithms Apriori, AprioriTIDList, AprioriItemSet and the method using FP-tree were chosen. The tests were executed over various amounts of data and with different minimum support and confidence values as well. The application was implemented in the object oriented language C# and the relational database provided by MS SQL Server 2008 is used as the data source.
Frequent Pattern Discovery in a Data Stream
Dvořák, Michal ; Hlosta, Martin (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
Frequent-pattern mining from databases has been widely studied and frequently observed. Unfortunately, these algorithms are not suitable for data stream processing. In frequent-pattern mining from data streams, it is important to manage sets of items and also their history. There are several reasons for this; it is not just the history of frequent items, but also the history of potentially frequent sets that can become frequent later. This requires more memory and computational power. This thesis describes two algorithms: Lossy Counting and FP-stream. An effective implementation of these algorithms in C# is an integral part of this thesis. In addition, the two algorithms have been compared.
Optimization of Small Electric Machines
Dvořák, Michal ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
Optimization algorithms are highly strong tool for solution of many problems of engeneering practice. They are usually used ,where the solution of given problem by analitics way is strongly unsuitable or unreal. For succesful solution such problems was developed a lot of highly strong algorithms, which alowed solwe dificult problems by efective way. In first part of this work I would like to introduce some optimization methods, their division and application. The next point will be introduction of two programs, which are plentifully used for optimization and each other cooperative together. These programs are ANSYS and MATLAB. In last part I will pay attention to optimization a small electrica machine, which is twelve volts automobile engine starter. On this engine starter I will apply three optimization algorithms and I would try to find corect value of field current for attainment maximum electromagnetic power.
