Detection, Localization and Determination of Chronic Wounds
Gulán, Filip ; Dvořák, Michal (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design and implement a multiplatform application for detection, localization and determination of the extent of chronic wounds. The application is intended to assist nurses, doctors and healthcare assistants to monitor and evaluate chronic wounds in the course of treatment. The application is based on the Typescript programming language, on the Ionic hybrid application framework and on the Electron desktop application framework. Chronic wound assessment runs on the server-side where the Python programming language is used. The Flask application framework is used for the RESTful application interface and the OpenCV library is used for image processing.
Design of home astronomical clock
Dvořák, Michal ; Řezníček, Svatopluk (referee) ; Rajlich, Jan (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is a design of a multifunctional table astronomical clock. The main goal is to design an object displaying astronomical data in a modern design, which does not currently exist on the market. The work is inspired by historical astronomical clocks in the form of tower clocks and at the same time uses the possibilities of modern technologies. The resulting product will serve as a complement to social or domestic environments.
Traffic signs detection and recognition
Dvořák, Michal ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is the utilization of computer vision methods, in a way that will lead to detection and identification of traffic signs in an image. The final application is to analyze video feed from a video camcorder placed in a vehicle. With focus placed on effective utilization of computer resources in order to achieve real time identification of signs in a video stream.
Analysis of mismatch modeling for various transistor models in weak and strong inversion
Dvořák, Michal ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
This work maps mismatch modeling for CMOS transistor in strong and weak inversion region. The goal is to build sufficient theoretical background describing origins of mismatch during manufacturing and its modeling and find suitable methodology, which will enable to compare 7 selected models of transistor, which was simulated.
Detection, Extraction and Measurement of the Contour and Circumference of the Metacarpal Bones in X-Rays of the Human Hand
Otčenáš, Matej ; Dvořák, Michal (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
Cieľom tejto práce je detekovať a následne extrahovať kontúru tretej metakarpálnej kosti ľudskej ruky z röntgenových snímkov a zmerať jej šírku. Práca popisuje segmentáciu obrazu pomocou metód na detekciu objektov, ktoré sa následne využijú za účelom konečných meraní šírky kosti.
Anti-Drone Perimeter Protection
Janík, Roman ; Dvořák, Michal (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
Developement of drone technology brings opportunities for many fields of human activity, but simultaneously brings security threats. A need to effectively face these threats arises. In this work, problematics and state-of-the-art methods for object detection in a video captured by moving camera. Further I proposed a system for a drone or a flock of drones detection and localization. Algorithm for detection is based on convolutional neural network, specifically on SSD algorithm. I implemented the system with library OpenCV with possible acceleration of algorithm with GPU via OpenCL. I tested the created solution on both a video and a video camera output.
Acquisition and Recognition of 3D Signature
Molitoris, Miloš ; Dvořák, Michal (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with methods of signing in 3D space, selecting a suitable scan model, obtaining a sufficient number of samples to create a database, and finally verifying signatures. The first part deals with the issue of existing solutions and methods of signature verification, further image processing required for marker shooting in 3D space. The following sections are dedicated to design a unique signature solution in free space using a pen without any contact. Two shooting models have been designed using cameras or Leap Motion sensor. The application was implemented based on DTW algorithm using this sensor resulting in a dynamic signature verification system. Furthermore, the work includes a description using of database creation and experimental signature verification. At the end, we find an assessment of the security and error rate of the system that is compared to other methods. The result of this thesis is an application for 3D signature capture and recognition with the potential of a new technique for secure signature.
Diagnostics unit for train protection system
Dvořák, Michal ; Žilka, Martin (referee) ; Tomíček, Pavel (advisor)
Aim of this work is to design electronic device capable of transfering and saving sent data from a comunication bus. First was introduced importance of such device in context of interstate rail travel. Next, the work introduces all the necessary norms, which must the device in question comply with, and how such norms affecting the design itself. This is followed by introduction of used communication protocols and buses and their implementation. Next, reader is introduced to design of the schematic and design considerations for PCB design. In the last chapter the data rate performance of the modul is evaluated.
Detection, Extraction and Measurement of the Length and Width of the Metacarpal Bones in Images
Mali by sme byť súčasťou tohto výskumu a obohatiť naše vedomosti prispievaním do vedy. Preto bude táto práca zameraná na detekciu, extrakciu a meranie metakarpálnych kostí na obrázkoch. Táto práca poskytne čitateľovi vedomosti o určitých metódach spracovania obrazu a záprstných kostiach. Predstaví proces extrakcie ich kontúr a ukáže spôsob, ako merať ich šírku a výšku.
Possibilities of using computer Raspberry Pi in teaching at elementary school.
DVOŘÁK, Michal
This Bachelor thesis deals with testing of the performance, abilities and possibilities of a minicomputer Raspberry Pi 4 model B for it's utilization in primary school edu-cation. Raspberry Pi 4 model B is a minicomputer from British charity organization Raspberry Pi Foundation which made it as a teaching support for informatics classes at schools. In the theoretical part of this thesis, topics as personal computer, operating systems and computer hardware are elaborated on. The practical part deals with tes-ting the minicomputer itself, it's process and the results. It also includes sample in-structions and applications that could be appropriate for inclusion to the primary school education. In the conclusion of the thesis, I elaborated on the evaluation of the possibilities of the minicomputer Raspberry Pi 4 model B in primary school edu-cation and on the contrary, for which purposes it is not suitable.
