Application of Record Office Connected to Databoxes
Dvořáček, Pavel ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The work examines legislative requirements for records management systems and databoxes system. It suggests processes and records office system as a universal solution suitable for deployment in a wide range of organizations.
Classification Methods for Micriarrays Data
Hudec, Vladimír ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burgetová, Ivana (advisor)
This paper discusses about the data obtained from gene chips and methods of their analysis. Analyzes some methods for analyzing these data and focus on the method of "Random Forests". Shows dataset that is used for specific experiments. Methods are realized in R language environment. Than they are tested, and the results are presented and compared. Results with method "Random Forests" are compared with other experiments on same dataset.
Web-Based GPS Data Publishing System
Hamšík, Filip ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis focuses on development of a web application that allows the management and publishing of recorded tracks in GPX format on the Mapy.cz map data. For each track, it is possible to show the elevation profile, add photos to the given locations and other information. The application can be installed on user's server with an optional change of appearance or functionality.
Web-Based GPS and Meteorological Data Publishing System
Šoulák, Martin ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor thesis is to develop a web application for publishing and animating a route on hiking maps together with images obtained from a meteorological radar. The thesis includes the basics of the Earth surface description, coordinate systems, GPS and the meteorological radars. The next part of the text describes an analysis of available application interfaces for building rich web-based geographic applications. The application was developed in PHP with using the Javascript OpenLayers open-source library for creating a dynamic map in the web page. The thesis also deals with the problem of different coordinate systems used by the Mapy.cz portal and the recorded track points in a GPX file.
Automated Retrieval of Information from the WWW
Žabka, Andrej ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with data extraction from web (web scraping) and displaying this data. The created tool allows it's user to quickly and simply create a project, that can extract data from multiple web sites and display them in a user friendly fashion. The thesis also contains examples, that showcase the abilities of this tool and were used in it's testing.
Software Development Processes Improvement
Řezáč, Jakub ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This master's thesis is oriented on software development processes improvement techniques. It presents modern approaches of process development and analyses problems of their management and usage in various life cycle phases. In connection with these techniques it brings draft of support tool, which increases automatization of processes development with pertinent cooperation with other tools, as one of presumptions of improvement of their quality.
Large Graph Data Visualisation on the Web
Jarůšek, Tomáš ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
Graph databases provide a form of data storage that is fundamentally different from a relational model. The goal of this thesis is to visualize the data and determine the maximum volume that current web browsers are able to process at once. For this purpose, an interactive web application was implemented. Data are stored using the RDF (Resource Description Framework) model, which represents them as triples with a form of subject - predicate - object. Communication between this database, which runs on server and client is realized via REST API. The client itself is then implemented in JavaScript. Visualization is performed by using the HTML element canvas and can be done in different ways by applying three specially designed methods: greedy, greedy-swap and force-directed. The resulting boundaries were determined primarily by measuring time complexities of different parts and were heavily influenced by user's goals. If it is necessary to visualize as much data as possible, then 150000 triples were set to be the limiting volume. On the other hand, if the goal is maximum quality and application smoothness, then the limit doesn't exceed a few thousand.
Detection of Unusual Events in Temporal Data
Černík, Tomáš ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with detection of unusual events (anomalies) in available temporal data. Theoretical part describes existing techniques and algorithms used to detect outliers. There are also introduced meteorological data that are after that used for experimental verification of implemented detection algorithms. Second part, practical one, describes design and implementation of application and algorithms. Algorithms are also tested in search for point, contextual and collective anomalies.
Mining Module of Data Mining System FIT-Miner
Zapletal, Petr ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with with FIT-Miner, the system for knowledge discovery in databases. The first part of this paper describes the data-mining process, mixture model's issues and FIT-Miner system. Second part deals with design, implementation and testing of created module, which is used for cluster analysis with Expectation-Maximalization algorithm. The end of the paper is focused to design of modules using Java Store Procedures Technology.
Information Systems Development Framework for Universal Windows Platform
Rajnoha, Jan ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This thesis analyses and designs a custom framework for applications created for operating system Windows 10. The main benefit of the framework is that it simplifies creation of an information system targeting the Universal Windows Platform. The thesis compares and discuss existing solutions and their ability to target available devices. Result of this work is design and implementation of a custom
