Low-Voltage Traction Drive with a Fuel-Cell
Hejkrlík, Jan ; Singule, Vladislav (referee) ; Richter, Aleš (referee) ; Vorel, Pavel (advisor)
The main aim of this work is a development of electric car. This car has fuel cells as a primary source of electrical energy which will be performed with regard to the maximum roll-out and to maximize the efficiency of hydrogen conversion into electricity. The first part is dedicated to the concept of drive as a whole, the second part is dedicated to solving vehicle dynamics. The third part describes the design of mathematical models of drive components. Part four gives the results of simulations of traffic on the route at different ways of managing fuel cells and various vehicle speeds.
Optimization of magnetic circuit of induction motor for frequency up to 210 Hz
Binek, Martin ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
This master’s thesis first deals with the theory concerning induction motor. It briefly desbribes the construction of three-phase induction motors, the generation of tractive force, power flow with loss distribution and also torque characteristic. In the next part an analytical calculation of the parameters of equivalent circuit for an existing induction motor with known dimensions is performed. After the calculation it is possible to find out the rated parameters of the motor, which makes it possible to further compare results with the values obtained by other methods. The next step was to create a model of the motor in RMxprt program, which is later also translated to ANSYS Maxwell 2D model. Simulations were carried out in both interfaces. As the next step the results obtained by the three methods are compared with measured values and also evaluated. The final part of the thesis focuses on the optimization of the magnetic circuit for higher frequencies. Efficiency of the modified induction motor is examined for higher frequencies using RMxprt Optimetrics and this procedure is performed for both default and alternative electrical steel materials.
Thermal analysis of induction machines using Ansys Workbench
Kučera, Petr ; Makki, Zbyněk (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
The aim of the master thesis is introduction with software Ansys Workbench and calculate the thermal field arroud the induction machine. After introduction with the software was bulit model of induction machine and there were simulated various thermal calculations at operating conditions. They were measured on a real induction machine in laboratories.
Thermal analysis of induction machine
Grmela, Petr ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Skalka, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with thermal fields and the possibilities of their solution by a finite element method. Thereinafter thesis describe assembling a 3D model of induction machine with known parameters, and solving thermal field of the model by Ansys Workbench program and verification of these results by practical measuring on real machine.
Noise suppression of six pole induction machine
Lexa, Jakub ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
This thesis deals with noise of electromagnetic origin of six pole three-phases induction machine. Task thesis was rendering literature review. Analysis of the problem consists of various analytical calculations using Matlab and subsequent comparison of results with measured data on real induction machine. The last part of thesis is a summary of conditions for induction machine with low noise.
Traction DC/AC inverter 2,5kW for an induction machine of an electric garden tractor
Krist, Petr ; Patočka, Miroslav (referee) ; Vorel, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the proposal of power 3-phase DC/AC inverter for an induction machine of small garden tractor. It concerns the choice of a voltage level of DC link, dimensioning of the power circuit, drivers for power transistors, implementation of metering and protection and also processor driving. The whole thing ends at proposal of PCB in the software program called EAGLE and PCB manufacturing. So we also check if the theoretical calculations are correct and if the whole drive works.
Analysis of load variation of induction machine from measurement of stator currents
Kroupa, Martin ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the evaluation of rotor dynamics of the induction machine, which can be used as a basis for online diagnosis of driven load in the future. It describes the problem of time varying loading torque at its impact to electromagnetic variables in induction machine. Followed by the possible ways of monitoring and diagnostic of loading torque using Fourier analysis on supply current.
Traction Drive with Fuel Cell
Procházka, Petr ; Chlebiš,, Petr (referee) ; Mindl,, Pavel (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
The main goal of the work is development of the electric car with fuel cells. The whole complex drive will be optimized with respect of minimal consumption of the energy due to achievement of the maximal range of the car. The first part of the work deals with definition of the parameters of the whole drive in dependence of various operating state of the car. The second part describes some acceptable realizations of the traction drive. The most suitable solution was chosen for realization of the small electric car. The third part deals with principle of the minimization of the losses of the asynchronous machine in the wide range of torque and speed. The last part describes final conception and especially technical realization of the car and its parts.
Testing stand of synchronous machines
Král, Michal ; Pospišilík, Jiří (referee) ; Klíma, Bohumil (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a part of synchronous generator testing stand project. Thesis is focused on drive part of testing stand, the appropriate drive is chosen according to type of the tests. The attention is mainly on drive control, specifically on the configuration of frequency converter and software programming of the converter control in NI LabVIEW. Software also contains drive simulation program. Testing stands are sequentially installed and commissioned.
Constrained Modeling of Induction Motor Using Physical Modeling and FEM
