Autonomous Landing System for Quadrocopter
Vomočil, Jan ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of systems for automatic landing and stabilization of air vehicle known as Quadrocopter. It focuses on image processing from a camera placed on board of the robot. The aim of image processing is detect landing target and calculate the distance from the desired position. Further is solved vertical stabilization for higher altitudes. For this function is measured atmospheric pressure. Conversely, for low altitude flight is used a ultrasonic range finder. In the conclusion is solved the implementation of the system.

Ultrasonic Anemometer
Křepelka, Pavel ; Fialka, Jiří (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
In the first section of this document, there are described principles of the wind measuring. Anemometers can be divides by physical principles to mechanical (propeller or cup), ultrasonic anemometers and thermoanemometers. This paper is focused to ultrasonic anemometers. In the next part, there are described principles of sound propagation in the atmosphere. There are studies of measurement theory and comparing of different approaches. Completed solutions are presented in patent exploration. Afterwards, there are introduction of market research. Important parameters of ultrasonic anemometers are highlighted. Main aim of work is designing prototype of ultrasonic anemometer. Software, hardware and construct of experimental anemometer were designed. Created anemometer was calibrated in aerodynamics tunnel and results were compared with simulation output.

Unconventional machining processes
Exnerová, Jitka ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the methods of the unconventional machining. The first part outlines the history of the machining methods, their characteristic and use follows. The second part aims at the method of the water jet, its technology, safety use, its advantages and disadvantages. Subsequently the thesis presents selected companies dealing with water jet cutting technology. At the end the thesis presents the environmental impact of the water jet cutting.

Methods for the survey reinforced concrete bridges
Ehrenberger, Ondřej ; Anton, Ondřej (referee) ; Cikrle, Petr (advisor)
Policies and types of diagnostic examination of a bridge. The theoretical section contains review diagnostic methods for a steel concrete frameworks. In a practical section there is made a examination of a bridge object over a river Moravia and a suggestion of the examination according to the detected defects. In the experimental section we are discovering, with a help of georadar, a location of reinforcement of a monolithic wall and board.

Mechanical Methods for Analyzing Nonlinear Parameters in the Skin
Tonnelier, E. ; Převorovský, Zdeněk ; Dos Santos, S.
The objective is to identify and evaluate the non-linear mechanical parameters of the human skin under loading measured by two different techniques. The first technique is based on ultrasound, and the second consists in analyzing the stress and displacement during the skin stretching. A small skin-loading, computer controlled device, equipped with ultrasonic, stress, and displacement transducers is attached to the human forearm by suction cups. Ultrasonic and mechanical parameters, recorded during programmed loading steps are related to the rheological model of the skin.

Ultrasonic testing of the structural timber within historic buildings - preview of elaborated methodics
Kloiber, Michal ; Bláha, Jiří ; Kotlínová, M.
The authors are engaged in interdisciplinary research and non-destructive testing of historic timber structures both in situ and in the lab. Therefore they take advantage of combining the approaches inherent to technical, historical and craft analyses of timberwork. To facilitate the spreading of knowledge of up-to-date diagnostic methods they are preparing an overview guidebook now which is supposed to help the heritage workers, owners, designers or contractors to choose among the possible testing tools and techniques the most proper one. The chapter which is devoted to the applying of ultrasonic methods for the timber non-destructive testing is shown as a sample here.
