Catalysts for ozone sensitivity enhancement of thin sensors
Fryček, R. ; Myslík, V. ; Vrňata, M. ; Jelínek, Miroslav
Inorganic(In.sub.2./sub.O.sub.3./sub.) and organic (InAcAc) thin films were created by pulsed laser deposition on special alumina chips by KrF excimer laser.Influence of addition catalyst was studied. Catalysts Ni, Fe and Zr were deposited by sputtering in sequence. After each step sensitivity and dynamic behavior were measured.
Study of microcrystalline silicon by combined AFM microscope
Mates, Tomáš ; Fejfar, Antonín ; Rezek, Bohuslav ; Fojtík, Petr ; Drbohlav, Ivo ; Luterová, Kateřina ; Pelant, Ivan ; Kočka, Jan
Recent results by combined AFM (topography and local conductivity) and correlation between microstructure and electrical properties of thin silicon films.
Photon emission induced by STM tip
Fojtík, Petr ; Charra, F. ; Pelant, Ivan
Basic principles of STM induced photon emission method are described and discussed in the article together with a presentation of experimental pitfalls with building up on experimental setup.
Object oriented programming of experiments in laboratory
Fejfar, Antonín
A system for object oriented programming of experiments in laboratory was developed using Object Pascal vased on the component architecture of Delphi environment, which will be published as a open source project.
Preservation of foods by high hydrostatic pressure
Kamarád, Jiří ; Houška, M.
New technology of a sterilization of foods under high hydrostatic pressure has been tested, Coliform bacteria in a vegetable juice have been inactivated under pressure 450MPa in the course of 10 minutes. A coagulation of yolks started under pressure above 300MPa.
Pressure induced magnetic beahaviour of R-Fe intermetallic compounds
Machátová, Zuzana ; Kamarád, Jiří ; Andreev, Alexander V. ; Prokhnenko, Olexandr ; Arnold, Zdeněk
Magnetization, magnetocrystalline anisotropy and magnetic susceptibility of a single crystal of the Lu.sub.2./sub.Fe.sub.17./sub. intermetallic compound have been studied under hydrostatic pressure up to 1,2 GPa at temperatures down to 5 K using SQUID magnetometer.
Pressure induced non-collinear magnetic structures in the Fe intermetallics
Arnold, Zdeněk ; Kamarád, Jiří ; Prokhnenko, Olexandr
Results of the magnetic structure studies of R.sub.2./sub.Fe.sub.17./sub. intermetallics with non-magnetic R (R=Y, Ce, Lu) are summarized. Generalized phase diagram is obtained and discussed in terms of the anisotropic pressure induced changes of the interatomic distances.
Strongly correlated electrons - new methods for investigating quantum critical phenomena
Janiš, Václav
Modern methods for investigating quantum critical phenomena in correlated-electron system are reviewed.
Properties of interfaces at nanometric scale
Lejček, Pavel ; Paidar, Václav
First let us focus on the TiAl ordered intermetallic alloys that represent due to very favourable strength-to-ratio, and thus light weight required by transport vehicles, an advanced material for the aerospace and automotive applications. The second example is closer to classical materials. The properties of polycrystals can be, at least in principle, improved by grain boundary engineering.
